Avantara | Amazing Lake Views Chalets

Stayed at Avantara Wood House on 12th & 13th August – amazing experience! The location is peaceful with a beautiful view of Kodaikanal Lake. The stay was comfortable with all necessary amenities. Food was okay, but the service was good and staff were helpful. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway.

The stay was ok. The rooms are cozy, compact. They are not cold resistant. Being of wood makes sound, no privacy. Though the host is good the stay was not that comfortable. Location beautiful.

Avantara is a beautiful stay, to stay with friends and family. Nature is beautiful. Services by them were awesome with food and everything.

The place was excellent and view of lake was amazing. If you like to explore by walk this place suits. Boat house park and shops are around 2kms

We had a pleasant stay at avantara, nice wooden room with all basic amenities. Small balcony with couple of chairs and table. A part of kodaikanal lake is visible even from bed through the glass window. Bathroom was ok and clean. We ordered dinner and breakfast which is okayish and the place of imorovement i would say. Also apart from ro water, better to provide 2 packaged water bottles.

Beautiful property and very cooperative and helpful caretaker as well as staff. Stunning views in the morning as well aa evening perfect gate-away spot for couples. Highly recommend this property for people looking out for peaceful stay with some lip smacking homely made food.

Beautiful views, nice property and amazing location. The stay was pleasant, it gets really cold at night inside the cabins so get an extra blanket while you’re there but the views are absolutely worth it.

It was a 4 day stay in avantara and it was an awesome experience. Great view from the room of nice valley and kodai lake you just need to open the curtain and enjoy. Shekhar was very helpful and a good cook. Arjun is a great host. Definitely recommended if you are planning to come to kodai

The best stay as it shows amazing upper lake side view from the room. The room had all the facilities available. We had ordered south indian food and i loved their coconut chutney a lot. The host aj had planned our trip and it turned out to be the best. Aj provides the world class hospitality.

This place has a perfect blend of view, location and nature. You get the view of lake and city in a cottage. Cleanliness is 10/10 and most importantly the host is very welcoming.

We stayed there for 2 nights. Room were cozy and comfort with great lake view. Its easy accessible by walk from lake. They have chef who can cook your needs and the rates are reasonable. Since its wooden house, you can feel extreme cold during night time. But they host provides enough blankets for you.
