Babaji River Campsite

Very poor arrangement, bed sheet, pillow cover, no water , workers was very bad , dirty bathrooms,

Wash rooms are not attached with room , bathrooms are common like dormitories, so it is very dirty, to take bath you have to bucket and carry warm water, if you are ready to experience like train toilets pls must try once .Tents are also stinging badly

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Babaji Campsite, and it was truly an amazing experience. I checked in at 09:00 AM and stayed in a tent (my second one so far). The campsite provided excellent facilities, making the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was delicious, and I was really impressed with the quality of the meals served. What stood out the most was the dedicated and hardworking team at the campsite. Their hospitality and commitment to providing the best service made my stay even better. Overall, I had a fantastic time at Babaji Campsite, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-managed camping experience. Looking forward to visiting again!

Stayed here on 26dec2024 on our visit to Kainchidham. Campsite is approximately 1.5 km from mandir.Tent is located inside forest range,so have to walk through little bit difficult 600-700meter track.It was amazing experienceto walk through forest.If you have 2-3 bags than it becomes difficult. Tent is located exactly on the bank of kosi river,few steps down you can walk into river,surrounded by mountains. Bornfire,music,food you will get everything.Must visit if you have a group of 4-5 people.The Guy Rakesh is totally helpful and friendly.food was also good. Chain of our tent was not working(only negative point for us) But Will not recommend for family or couple due to at night you have to pass through dark jungle with difficult terrain without any light.(though Guy Rakesh was came to take us at gate)

The location of the campsite property is amazing. It is located adjacent to shipra river. It is peaceful, adventurous, and beautiful. One can connect with nature while at the property. The staff is courteous and well mannered. Mr. Jay prakash is the one to mention here. He was a great host and highly courteous.

The campsite is located inn a beautiful and convenient location in relation to kainchin dham. The staff are very friendly and treated me like a brother. They are helpful for doing things around camp, as well as planning outside activities. There is a cook who makes three delicious meals a day. I have nothing but praise for this location!

It was an excellent experience at stay in babaji river campsite the perfect place from which to explore kanchi & nearby areas. Great location, great service, friendly staff. Good value for the money. We arrived before 09 am and we could have a room straight away instead of just dropping the bags in the luggage area only due to the co-operation of hotel staffs and owner. Affordable price, excellent location! must stay.

Best experience of the property, the owner is so sweet to the guest he served us food late night 1 a. M. Though the food was fresh and hot and the cook was preparing in front of us

Room is very clean, hygiene food, friendly and helpful staff. Very regional price location was very good it’s like out of the traffic, sound. Only natural river and bird sound. Only 400 meter walking distance from kainchi dham temple

We arrived early in Nainital and called the camp to see if we could check in early, as we wanted to freshen up and visit the temple. They didn't mention any additional charges for early check-in at that time. We stayed for an hour before heading to the Neeb Karori Babaji temple. When we returned in the evening, the rooms were still unclean. We requested different rooms and an additional one, agreeing to extra costs without food. The room was unclean, there was no kettle, it had an unpleasant smell, and the washrooms were not attached to the camp (which we were okay with). Later, we asked for a bonfire and music. They claimed their music system was broken and the wood was too wet for a fire. However, they assisted other guests with both. When we questioned this discriminatory behavior, they lied about everything. They also demanded an extra ₹2500 for early check-in. We argued about why this wasn't mentioned in the morning but agreed to pay if the services had been satisfactory. Unfortunately, they didn't even provide water in the tent at night. One staff member came to our tent at night, insisting we pay for early check-in, the additional room, and dinner. Despite our request to settle the bill in the morning, he persisted. I even considered calling the cops due to their harassment. We ended up paying half that night and the rest in the morning. Overall, it's not just about the unclean room, leeches, or lack of water—those are expected in camp life. The main issue was their rude behavior, impoliteness, and constant demands for extra payments. This was atrip I planned for my family first time and it was very bad experience in that tent and the bad behaviour of those people.... I will never visit there again and jot going to recommend anyone for it . thanks
