Badar Resorts

We stayed at this property for 1 day and the stay was really good. The Badar Resorts is very clean and well maintained. Rooms are spacious, clean with a great view from the balcony. They have a unique sitting area right next to the river which was our favorite part. The property has good parking space, water heaters, ac and heaters in room and friendly staff. Service was also top notch. Only couple of things to keep in mind are : their lift is still under construction, from what we heard it should be up and running in a month. The location is slightly away from sonamarg. However from our experience both these things are just small things to note and do not matter considering the pros. In all we definitely recommend this property.

The location is 11kms from sonmarg. The Badar Resorts is nice, clean and comfortable and offers good views of mountains and river on the back side. Some downsides: 1) although we had our own vehicle i saw Badar Resorts charging astronomical sums from guests (rs 1800) for an 11 km journey to sonmarg town 2) Badar Resorts buffet was limited and average - it’s better to eat a la carte or eat at dogra vaishno dhaba or country inn in sonmarg town depending on budget and mood of the day 3) Badar Resorts charged me rs 50 for a bottle of water with mrp rs 20 even though it is clearly illegal and not down anywhere in india

Our stay at Badar Residency and resort was excellent as the Badar Resorts staff specially the property manager Mr. Shoukat Khan welcomed us with open heart. He took care of small things as a host. The property is located in a perfect location. We have enjoyed the riverside section of the Resort. The room was neat and clean with a mountain view from the room balcony. The buffet served contained variety of items. Hats off to chef Mr. Hamid prepared a delicious meal for us. I Would like to give my highest rating to the property.. Excellent Hospitality😍

The property is fantastic, especialy the room is spacious when compared to other competitator nearby, the park sind stream is owe-some but the cons such as frequent power cuts, pathetic food taste and variety. The geyser not sufficient for the family, water gets cold within no time. Steamers solar required. Overall the property is good, the ambience. If you are coming to sonamarg this will be a nice stay within 5k but arrange your food expecially in kullan becz there are no good restauran around. Dint go for room with breakfast/ dinner.

A perfect fusion of comfort and discovery is guaranteed by outstanding service and opulent lodgings. Staff of this resort is really very good and helpful especially bast and arshid. In short this resort is the best choice if you want to relax and to spend time in peace.

Hotel location was excellent but if you are going for it please look for your own transport as it is bit remote. It is good for staycation specially during snow. Room was excellent, spacious and heating was also good. Food was also tasty. Suggestion - since it is situated in remote place opt for breakfast and dinner. One more thing to travel to sonmarg from the Badar Resorts location they will charge you for whole day around 2500-3000. and not a penny less though it is just 10 km away.

The resort is located nearly 14 kilometers away from sonmarg. But its probably the most premium resort in the place. The resort is located just next to sindhi river and one can enjoy the view endlessly. The rooms are spacious, clean, and luxurious. The staff is helpful. The restaurant offers buffet menu but is reluctant to serve ala-carte food options. Additional services (e. G. Extra mattress) are costly. Overall, a pleasant stay mainly because of location

Good value for money accommodation. Spacious and beautiful rooms. However, food is average. Kitchen needs some more attention. Service is also quite average in my honest opinion. Also, make sure while occupying the room, you're getting the same room type as you had booked as they tried to offer me a room type below the one i had booked and later on my request upgraded to me to the one which i had originally booked.

Nice Badar Resorts, excellent location and landscape, nearby river makes more beautiful, hospitality is good and mr shaukat is very helpful and cooperative

Excellent hospitality, great service , spacious rooms , beautiful location. Though breakfast options were less, but manageable.

Although location and rooms were very good. But the room service was below par. I wud certainly rec-commend my contacts fr the Badar Resorts but things can be improved significantly at the property.

The property location was in before the sonmarg but it's approachable n in mid of the road. Location was very good. River behind the property gives it an awesome view. Rooms were cozy.

The stay here in this property is fantastic you have beautiful view of sind river & snowy mountains. Rooms are really wonderful & clean. Staff is well trained & supportive. I suggest you to visit this property once

Location of the Badar Resorts is amazing. Sindh river is just behind the Badar Resorts. Zozila pass is just 15 mins away from Badar Resorts. Apart from location, food is also good at the restaurant. Rooms were clean.
