Balaji Lodging

I am more of a critic than a rave reviewer, but this one is definitely worth a mention. I would highly recommend staying at Balaji lodging when in Pandharpur for the following reasons. 1. We reached around 9 am, after a somewhat uncomfortable overnight train journey. The lodge staff gave us a warm welcome and arranged for an early check-in within minutes. 2. Upon settling down, we were served hot and tasty breakfast in room service. 3. One of the family travellers suddenly fell ill and was out during the first leg of the trip. The lodge staff took great care of the sick patient by sending in hot simple meals (Dal and rice), bringing medicines from the nearby medical shop and even taking to the Doctor while others could visit the temples. 4. A special mention of the cook, Mr. Nazarkar, who was always courteous enough and making sure guests get hot and home-made meals daily. 5. The lodge owner, Mr Bhinge is also always available. Upon arriving, he told us not to indulge with other local auto-wallahs for temple Darshan or other sightseeing. Lodge has a known auto driver who would take us around by simply calling him for nominal charges. He even came to drop us at the railway station which is just 5 minutes walking from the lodge when called for an extra tip. 6. On the day of check-out, since our train was late in the evening, we asked for a late checkout and was readily obliged. We were allowed to keep the bags so that we could go around the town for some shopping. at no extra charge. All in all, it was great experience and I would highly recommend Balaji lodging for a weekend getaway.

My stay was pleasant,lodge is kept neat and clean. Staff are very good. Mr.Maheshwar Bhinge,owner of the lodge was in touch with me always from the time of confirmation of booking till I checked out. He was very communicative helped for online darshan ticket of the Lord Vittala Rukmini temple. I felt immensely homely as a senior citizen, they have assisted me in all respects. I recommend the public at large viewing my comments to go for booking this lodge for their pleasant stay and immense service by the staff as well as the owner Mr.Maheshwar Bhinge. The lodged is located just walkway distance 300 meters from PANDHARPUR Railway station, with all facilities like AC/Non AC rooms, lifts,hot water 24 hrs,etc. I give five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5,i.e., 5/5 rating. I am very much thankful to Mr.Maheshwar Bhinge for his compassionate service.

We saw good reviews and chose to stay here before going to darshan but since we would arrive early morning at 4 we were afraid if we would be allowed to check in but after i mentioned this in special request i got msg from the owner that we would be allowed early check in we were also worried about reaching to this place so i asked if he could share some contacts for dropping us to the lodge and he gave us a suoerb guy who managed our entire day's plan l. We had a wonderful stay here and the owner went way beyond and helped us in so many ways so really thankful to him would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place near temple.

Stayed in the Balaji Lodging for 2 days. Had a very pleasant experience, with the Balaji Lodging staff taking care of our every need. Immediately on booking, got a link from the owner of the Balaji Lodging for booking darshan at pandharpur temple. That link was quite helpful and i used that link to book darshan on both the days. The Balaji Lodging staff arranged home made food on both the days as per our taste. We loved the food so much that we took food parcel for our train journey. The rooms were quite spacious and comfortable. All in all we enjoyed our stay at Balaji Lodging balaji.

Hello team, recently we stayed for two days in balaji lodge pandharpur. The place is situated just a km away from the main temple and very close to railway station the room was spacious and had all the basic amenities. Breakfast was osam. Room was neat and tidy and the lodge staff members are very nice and polite and was always available whenever we needed their help i would highly recommend this place because it’s after the darshan we all need a quite place to have a sound sleep. And this one is very apt

Balaji Lodging is situated very near to the Railway Station as well as and temple, it's a very clean and tidy, got hot water in the morning, tea and poha also prepared by a cook if you want, it's a simple place for any stay, we were two women who travelled alone, yet we felt safe in the Balaji Lodging, but it's a little bit isolated, especially in the night, nearby, if you can walk, restaurant is there, where we had our dinner.

We stayed for a night but we didn't find any issue with the place. Nice stay for us. The best part was hot water was provided to us early in the morning as we were travel-ling to hampi on bike and had to start early.
Place was safe and hygiene/sanitation was as required. The only concern was no temperature check was performed, however the rooms were tidy and clean. Care taker uncle helped us alot. Overall nice experience

I've stayed here twice and both time had decent experience good enough to spend a night or 2 here. It has ample parking outside the Balaji Lodging, but only 2-3 car can park inside the Balaji Lodging. Rooms are clean and spacious, can easily accommodate 3 people. Although it is little bit far from panduranga temple, there are ample auto's available to and fro since Balaji Lodging is just a 100 mtr away from railway station.

We were 8 of us and reached the Balaji Lodging at 7 am after a night of interrupted sleep. They immediately gave us rooms. Rooms were clean, big, and nice. Hotel staff was very kind and wonderful. Hotel is 2 min walk from the station and 10 min (by auto) away from the temple. Lots of tiny shops and eateries around the place. Breakfast wa a available at a cost. Was a wonderful stay.

This place is perfectly located for devotees who visit pandharpur via train. Just outside the station and 10 mins away from vitthal temple. I would highly recommend this place as it was very clean, tidy and the staff was very helpful.

The facility is okay needs to work on providing better vehicle parking options. Homely food available. Location wise it is well connected and close to temple….
