Bandipur Khans resort & Gufa restaurant

We stayed for 2 days in a cottage having a garden view, the room pictures were a little bit confusing when viewing as we were a family of 2 adults and 2 children and expected there to be 2 beds. The 2 beds were shown in the room picture but not for the cottages. But the bed was king size in the cottage so we could manage somehow. Bathroom was decent, needed additional cleaning before our stay. Other amenities and services are good. The resort landscape is huge and could have been maintained well considering high prices for the rooms. There is a lot of shrubbery and wild plants grown on the property which makes difficult to enjoy outside space and playgrounds. The horse ride activity is priced a little high, but good for the kids. Pool is very nicely setup but far from the rooms and needs a long walk which would be difficult when we need to take the toddlers. The resort has good themes like caves and jungle animals that attract the kids and has good location benefits. It has good restaurant attached, breakfast was fulfilling and other options also are neat with reasonable pricing. Recommended for a lunch/dinner option if there are no other restaurants open. Overall the resorts are a recommended stay for families looking to wind off for the weekend.

Given the pandemic situation, I will start with a sanitation update Cleanliness : - room was pretty neat and clean when we entered - there were fully filled hand wash gels and soap with towels proceed for all the three occupants. Hence a 👍 to sanitization Room ambiance: -It had pretty well-decorated lighting with pictures of animals around the wall to a feel-good sense of Bandipur ambiance - branded AC was available to adjust the room temperature and a TV which we did not use at all - provided with the decent speed of wifi for regular browsing speed - at this point of wiring Vodafone had a pretty terrible network and Airtel rocked Breakfast, lunch, and dinner - we were given free breakfast as promised which included ( dosa, Idli, sambar, Kesari bath for Sunday buffet ) - starters like panner pakoda , onion pakoda was pretty good. - staff were friendly enough to serve the orders Areas of improvement - occupants were not checked for vaccination certification, I think this should be made mandatory given the pandemic situation

It was a good stay, the only thing I would recommend them is to tell customers that their room stay and cottage stay are separate. I saw the cottage pictures in MMT and thought I was booking a cottage and not a room, but I ended up getting a standard room which was a little over priced, I got to know this when I arrived at the Bandipur Khans resort & Gufa restaurant. Overall a good stay, the staff is friendly and the safari ticket booking counter is just half a kilometer away, so its worth staying at this place if you intend to go for a safari trip. Food is good but the rooms are average.

Is a good property near to safari location. So location is best. Coming to property in proper, outside elevation is great. Reception looks dull with no bright lights. Seating at reception is poor. 4ooms serve the purpose but not a luxurious Bandipur Khans resort & Gufa restaurant. Definitely. Size of room is small, one chair is there inside the room and second person has to sit on the bed. Instant geyser in bathroom provides little extra time for getting hot water. Most positive point is food is good. It's an average property for a quick stay.

Value for money and food was delicious. Staffs was very cooperative and helpfull. Praveen has been a great help and made our stay more beautiful by upgrading us on cottage which was like a birthday treat. All the staffs was very knowledgeable about area which helps us to guides and given briefed about locality. Many activities at property like cricket, bonfire and indoors activities. Located just near to forest. U should take a cottage for a beautiful stay. Couple, family and group can enjoyed well. We will like to visit again.

The place is beautiful located in a mango orchard with archways and door ways decorated with bougainvillea and morning glory climbers. The gardener was courteous to offer us few fresh grown figs from the orchard. There is a park to engage kids. The rooms and rest rooms are neat and tidy. The restaurant ambience is nice cave theme. Food was average very oily and the crockery used for serving morning buffet was not to the mark.

The stay was comfortable and rooms were clean. Property is right by the road and easily accessible with enclosed parking space to protect vehicles from wild animals. Food is good and hygienic, breakfast buffet is good too with quite a few varieties. The staff is very cooperative and polite. The stay was comfortable and it is the only restaurant offering variety of food. Value for money, i would say!

Great location for organizing Safari. Walking distance to Government-run Safari vehicles. Great variety of food and good service to go with it. The manager Ghelmaan and the receptionist we're extremely helpful to organize accessing only ATM machines in town nearby. Providing a scooty for transport. Very happy with their service. Will recommend others to stay there.

Located just outside of bandipur gate with scenic beauty of mountains around the resort. Tasty food in the restaurant, room was clean and neat.

Good place to stay for 2-3 days with family if you are planning to visit bandipur national park and near by areas. I recommend to take cottage to enjoy the privacy and garden for kids.

The resort is perfectly located just before National Park. It has a play area which includes a small basketball net, badminton court, a cemented pitch for cricket and a trampoline. They also cater horse riding and have an array of birds, rabbit and a super friendly dog. Enjoyed the stay.
