Bandipur Safari Lodge by Jungle Lodges

We took the viceroy category, which is non ac, and that's the only major difference compared to maharaja, and they are more spacious too. Viceroy too is big enough, and it's a decent stay with all basic amenities. Staff is really co-operative. Sufficient options of food were available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and it was good. Coming to highlight of booking this stay is of safari. We will be taken to safari twice, once in noon(3pm - 6pm, and the next day early morning(6am - 9am. Gypsy will be provided with 6 to 8 ppl in one jeep. Gypsy driver will be your guide as well. All safari vehicles start together and cover different routes within the forest. They can take all efforts to provide you the best jungle safari experience and they will be in constant communication along with other team to know about any wild life movement and spot them. We were lucky enough to spot a tiger and it was in hunting mode chasing herds of elephant targeting a cub. Overall it's a good experience. Would recommend to go for it if you need a unique jungle safari. Early check-in and late check out is subject to availability.

Excellent overall experience at bandipur safari lodge. Me and my son had a great one day one night stay. Every detail from the welcome to all the services were well organised. I recommend going on both the evening and morning safaris to get the complete experience. The wildlife movie is a nice touch and educates both kids and adults on that particular forest area. The room was neat and clean with all amenities. Food was excellent, with many healthy options available. Staff are courteous and helpful. Our safari driver/guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall a highly recommend experience. Nature walk and campfire were not available, but even then we had a full day of activity with adequate time to rest.

Property was amazing. Great hospitality by the staff. The attendant for our room shared his phone number for any requirement. He picked up the phone whenever we called him. Food was also great. Wide range of choices for all the meals. Property was located on the main road. They had battery-operated cars which picked up and dropped to the rooms. I preferred walking as the ambiance was amazing. Birds were chirping all the day. The naturalist afsar took us thru all possible ways to show the tiger. A special mention for sanappa who ensured all our asks were met.

Overall it has always been good experience staying at bandipur jungle lodges. Dental kit was not available, which was disappointing as you expect such basic things to managed by resort. Food, hospitality is always great. Our driver ensured we had two leopard sighting in 2 safaris. Absolutely amazing efforts by our driver. Also our driver was accommodated in dormatory and provided free food, which is highly appreciated.

We stayed here for 1n. The stay, food, people and most importantly safari. Everything was awesome. The people who are accompanying us for the safari were very friendly. We could enjoy the forest. Both the safaris we took were very calm. Overall a nice experience. Food was very delicious and healthy. Room was spacious and overall the ambience was superb.

You have to park your vehicle at the area in front of the reception. Take care to park it somewhere not under the trees( which may not be possible always. Other wise it will be fully covered with bird droppings. The food, safari, rooms all are very good considering the fact that it is a forest. But i felt it is a bit overpriced.

I stayed during dussehra season and booked it for a complete day package including safari drive. The plan includes 2 safari drives through bandipur tiger reserve and had very well planned the day. The food provided during lunch dinner and breakfast is delicious and tasty. Rooms are neat and clean.

quite decent place with necessary amenities, good food and very courtesious staff. some of the rooms were clean and spotless while some had dumps appearing in the walls. That's the only thing I can recommend to improve

It was such a pleasant experience! we stayed in maharaja ac cottage and the rooms were amazing! loved the resort, the safaris, the food, the hospitality. Special shout out to ramesh (our safari guide) who made sure we have a thrilling experience.

We enjoy the weekend trip thoroughly. The safari is unique and one of its kind. But costly. The food is awesome. The staff are courteous. I wish then change their check in and check out timings. Proprty is very well maintained. Bathrooms and premises is very cleanly maintained

Amazing is an understatement. Excellent in all dimensions: stay, food, hospitality, and safari. It was awesome.

Rooms were well maintained. They provided 3 meals and evening snacks which were delicious. Staffs were very helpful. The best part was the safari, which was awesome.

The place and the location is very good, food very good, staff and cleanliness good there were two safari, one time we sighted leopard, elephants, gaur dears however no tiger was spotted over all good place
