Banyan By The Ganges (74 Kms from Rishikesh)

Visited with Family, the location seems a little far away and you wonder if you're lost on the way. more signage leading to the property would be recommended. We traveled during the rainy season and seems to be weather related but there was no power for a full day/night. the backup didn't support AC or geysers. That was uncomfortable for our stay and during the day it was pretty hot and humid. On the plus side the staff was very nice. Arjun and the Chef took good care of all our needs. They even sent their resident driver with us to drive us in the mountains. The food here is absolutely amazing! Good variety and everything was well prepared. I would have given them 5 if not for the power issues. I won't assume that it's the norm but definitely impacted our stay. Great for families although gotta keep an eye if you have very small kids. can hear the river roar through the night and had access to the river side. I would visit again!

Located at vyas ghat around 13 km away from devprayag. Only bsnl works so you need to have either a swim of that or you should have gps enabled in your car to get to the location. Road is slightly narrow so one has to be a little careful. Once you get there. It's a different world. Great hospitality. Great food. And decent tented rooms. No internet or tv. So if you want solitude and want to dip yourself in ganges where no one bothers you. This place it is. They also organise rafting from devprayag to vyas ghat. There is a short trek to a british era bungalow at top of a hill and a great secluded waterfall where you can take a dip and forget the world. So if you want a place which secludes you away from this world. Then this place it is.
Small spacious cottage for a small family. No tv. No internet facilities. Just enjoy the tranquility.

I have traveled a lot in mountains but The hospitality that you receive here is incomparable. The resorts rests at a beautiful location. No wifi, no TV, but still so much to do. The swings at The Banyan tree. The dips in The holy Ganga, the village trek, the interesting rafting stories of their certified guides and not to forget the delicious food, all together make it a must visit place.

Short of words to describe about this resort. Truly heaven on earth. Take you close to the nature and warmth hospitality with felicities like rafting climbing excellent food will totally rejuvenate you. Fully recommend family stay here.

Simply amazing. Super hosts with great hospitality. Food is the one of the main highlights of the property. You won to miss the missing phone signals as the place keeps you engaged fully.

Place where you are in midst of woods and close to Ganges. Lots of thrill activities available. Place does not have WiFi, range for cell phone, gives one an opportunity to live 1990 era.

Best part if the place is the location. The views was awesome. Staff was also very helpful.

Mind-blowing view and an amazing property for couples and well as for kids and pets.
Room size was quite small, no internet, no network, complete disconnect from busy world.
