The food was quite good, and the overall setting made for a very relaxing experience. That said, a few facilities could use an upgrade, particularly the water flow intensity in the shower and wash basin. The approach road to the resort and the upkeep of the rooms also require some attention. Overall, it was a delightful and memorable stay.

Experience was different and good. It was more of jungle resort with lot and lot of lush greenery around. Direct and private access to beach which was next to Radha Nagar beach. Try Neil's Cove nearby on the shore. It was 20 mins walking. Food was acceptable. The issues faced were very dim light everywhere being it a room/tent or restaurant etc. and you have to walk for long on trails with uneven surfaces (remember jungle resort) to get to anywhere within the property which is spread in a very wide area. Also, no room service from restaurant. Restrictions on wearing footwear in restaurant and reception area. Restrictions on having food only in the restaurant. Hospitality was good. Tented accommodation was very good and very nicely designed. Overall it was a good place.

Location: Great if you want to experience jungle. Staff: Polite and helpful. Smooth check in and check out. Access to beach. Food is tasty though portion size is small and price a little steep.

Overall very happy with stay, room, food and overall experience. Only lowlight was the distance of room allotted - room was a bit far and it was a bit scary in night as there wasn’t enough light on pathways.

This is not suitable for families with small kids, however if you are adventurous and don't mind mingling with nature, it is a great experience. Try the night forest trek and breakfast in the forest.

Its a minimalistic living experience. No footwear allowed in the common areas like lobby, bar and restaurant. Its a jungle stay resort and a lot of night creatures share the space with you. cosy but not luxury surely.

Barefoot is an experiential resort. It is not a luxury 4 star, however it is a cosy happy experience. food taste and spread is very good. it is a dimly lit place and you are expected to connect with the elements while staying here. Monitor Lizards and a bunch of birds share this space with you. Connected to Radhanagar Beach, this is a good option for adventure seekers.

We stayed in Barefoot for 4 nights. We had an amazing experience. The resort is idyllic in a sylvan setting and a perfect place to unwind amidst nature. The place is couple of minutes walk to the beautiful Radhanagar beach. It is one of the most pristine beaches we have seen. The resort is well maintained, their hospitality wonderful and food delicious. The staff are cordial. We want to come back here again.

PROS: Beachside property , very serene ,Nice cooperative staff, Great food CONS: No TV in room, No room service, Costly food , Cottages spreadover, May be difficult for elderly to move around. No room phones.

Right from the entry, Barefoot justifies it's hype, this resort provides awesome Jungle Experience. Right on radhanagar beach with stunning sunset views. Delicious food, Wohid was the man who tended to our requests with utmost grace and won our hearts. Bar is also great. Airtel network worked fine in this area. mosquitos are there as expected but they try to manage with mosquito nets. they have many activities in house mainly jungle walks. Overall awesome Jungle Experience!!

The arrangements were not senior citizen friendly and for families like me who traveled with seniors. There was no prior intimation about the property restrictions. Like improper approach road to restaurant or cottages. Plus, there were no friendly arrangements for the seniors to change their footwear, while the expectations were that for all age groups, even walking in reception or restaurant was barefoot. While the hospitality and food arrangements were good. And especially the food in the restaurant was very good, well cooked and served.

A real rainforest stay experience with a 100 m walk to the radha nagar beach. Rooms are spread out giving privacy.

An enchanting experience end to end, it was just picture perfect. The welcome drink with tender coconuts, the Mangrove forests around, the cookies in the room to the absolute bliss - we wanna come back again

stayed in barefoot for 4 days and had booked nicobari cottage. the resort is beautiful and is 100 metres walk away from a section of radhanagar beach which is less crowded. the cottage was spacious and clean. we found a couple of spiders and small gekkos in the room which is common given you are staying in midst of a jungle. staff is courteous and always ready to help with smile on their face. they had decorated our room and offered a complimentary cake for our anniversary. i had booked scuba & tidal walk through them which was fanatastic and must try. tidal walk organized by the naturalists at the resort is very informative and gives different perspective about the marine life. recommend it as it can be done with kids and older ppl who otherwise cant do scuba or snorkelling. had also booked renewal of vows package with them which was totally worth it given the setup they had done at the beach side. you can book a photographer to capture your special moments. the food and drinks seved at restaurant & bar is good though a tad bit expensive. breakfast option was limited but tasty. beach towels are provided and lal chai served during the evening time adds to the amazing sunset experience. dont forget to visit the beach at night (someone from the resort will assist you. overall our experience was fantastic and worth every penny spent.

The resort had a wonderful beach but unfortunately that’s all it had. The concept of making a resort in harmony with the nature is an excellent thought, however that cannot be used as an excuse for cost cutting on maintenance. The poor lighting throughout the property was made worse by diffused bulbs in between reptile infested pathways, making the walk at night extremely unsafe. The lighting in the rooms were so poor that one would have to use torch to find things or to get ready. Even the mosquitos net given had holes in them.
