Had a one night stay at the Batra Hotel but tgey managed to give me a nice hospitality by their gestures and kindness as i had faced some kind of health difficulty so they managed to give info and even with their food service so even after an unpleasant exp with health they managed to make it confortable with their kindness right from reception manager to restaurant staff especially. So i recommend anyone who vista srinagar to stay here and the best part is location is very nearby to all sightsseings

This property is quite good and it is walking distance from dal lake. Staff is very polite and helpful. Restaurant has is only vegetarian options. The famous veg joint, krishna dhaba, is right acros the street form the Batra Hotel! one side of the Batra Hotel faces a hospital so avoid rooms in that wing of the Batra Hotel. View from window is in the hospital rooms which may not be vacation-friendly to some travellers.

Room can be made better. We ordered separately room slippers and dental kit which should be there in the room. The Batra Hotel breakfast buffet was excellent. It was good that it served only pure vegetarian dishes. The room was beautiful. It was located in market and thus view was not good. Service can faster. Overall we had a good experience.
