Beachfront Villas | Rooms in a Homestay

We travelled as a family with a kid. We stayed for one night only. The resort location is along the Malgund beach with a road dividing the beach and the resort. We could walk down to the beach by crossing the road, the beach was around 400 meters from the resort. You can hear the roar of the waves outside the room. The internal roads are under development, suggest paver blocks to be laid in the pathways so as to give a pleasing and smooth surface. Currently there is a kaccha pathway with red mud on top surface, which is not desirable. A proper laid pathway would be very good in future. The resort is also only 3-4 kms from the Ganpati Temple of Ganpatipule. The resort is located away from the very crowded Ganpatipule and the beach is also very clean and less crowd. We could enjoy the beach in its full serenity and peace. A proper reception is suggested so that the first timers don't get confused at the time of check in. Room was good with a not so clear view of the Malgund beach. However, we could see a portion of the beach. Room is basic with a sit out in front which was a good addition. You can sit there and enjoy the greenery around. The surrounding is green which was very pleasant and soothing. The laterite bricks structure gives it a pleasant, rustic and a different look to the villas. Room service for tea was very quick. The resort staff were very good, informative, co-operative, courteous and well behaved. Proper guidance was given to us regarding the tourist spots nearby, which helped us to visit the places. The restaurant was basic but the setup is nice in the open. The complimentary breakfast was limited to two items, but was tasty. May be the spread could have been increased in future. Additionally, what we liked was there was accommodation facility provided for taxi drivers who accompany the guests. This is a thoughtful thing and well appreciated. All in all a very comfortable stay and the location is very good. We had a very nice stay and the staff was very good and co-operative. Highly recommended for stay with family for Ganpatipule Temple visit and a nice, clean sea beach visit.

Beachfront villas are located at malgund village about 5 kms from main ganapatipule town, temple & beach. It is just opposite malgund beach. The villas are on diffrent levels (elavation) with dormitory & restaurant at above road level, normal rooms & 2bedroom villas at seciond level, premium villas at second level and super premium at top level. The villas (except 2bed) are having two rooms on either sides (villa shared in two. Nice rustic villas, late-rite walls, sloping room. Ample space and good comforts & cleaniness (surrondings too. Bed linen good, bath linen could have been better. Villas had aircon, refrigerator and geyser. They should think of adding more furniture like chest of drawers (needed) and rockers. Many points were not working, but since ample were provided, need not mattered. Food you have to order early. Breakfast was good with sufficient options. Service (and courtesy) was top notch and probabably the best point of the resort. Only one drawback that the name being beachfront, however the beach is seen only from two of the villas, one two-bed at corner and super premium at top. Rest is ok. Overall a nice and comfortable stay.

I stayed at beach front villas for one night and received a call from the Beachfront Villas | Rooms in a Homestay manager the day I arrived where I asked at which time I will arrive. Communication with the manager was a bit difficult as his English is not the best. With the help from some other guests is was not a problem to talk to him and clarify all my issues. Food at the Beachfront Villas | Rooms in a Homestay restaurant was OK but there is no drinking water for free. For bottled water they charge 25 RS. Service was good and they really cared about me. For point to the see you have to cross the road and have a 3-4 minutes walk over there. Even thought there is no real path you can easily find a way. The beach is very clean and its a great place to see sunset.
Nice terrace with table and chairs, but view to the sea was blocked by palm-trees.

I stayed here for 3 days with my wife from 24th jun e to 27th june. Overall experience was good, i would rather rate it average but considering the resort was closed for almost 1. 5+ years with less staff and many more financial challenges i give good ratings. Property is excellent to stay provided they maintain it well along with mandatory maintenance in rooms. Staff there was good very courteous and helpful, probably one of the reason we could stay there for 3 days. Assuming the bad times in Beachfront Villas | Rooms in a Homestay industry with limited sources for everything i rate them above good, provided they try and maintain there level once everything goes back to the normal. Cheerrsss. Would definitely like to revisit once with better room cleanliness, more food options post everything is back to normal. For now recommended

The villas are located on a small hill facing the malgund beach. The view from the room is absolutely amazing if you have booked the rooms higher up on the hill. The property is pretty big and you can enjoy a good stroll within the property itself. You can hear the sound of waves from anywhere in the property which felt very relaxing. Food is like home made food, quantity is really amazing and is so are the low prices. The Beachfront Villas | Rooms in a Homestay manager is every present to help you with anything and will go out of his way to ensure a comfortable stay. The place gives you good privacy if you want to get away from crowded hustle and bustle of cities. Definitely a recommended place to stay in ganpatipule.

This Beachfront Villas | Rooms in a Homestay has the potential to become at least a 4 start Beachfront Villas | Rooms in a Homestay if they improve upon the basic look of the Beachfront Villas | Rooms in a Homestay and add more varieties to the food menu and also arrange for facilities like spa, gym, indoor games, beauty parlor, Ayurveda center, English tv channels etc. Otherwise the staff was very friendly and caring! Upkeep of the existing facilities is also neat! Also encouraged the current manager to do some marketing for the Beachfront Villas | Rooms in a Homestay in big cities like Pune and Mumbai and not restrict to inline reviews and ratings.

Nice and clean spacious rooms right across the beach. Peaceful and isolated place, with no mobile networks, a perfect detox from the busy everyday mundane life. Only two drawbacks, firstly they didn't have many options for dinner, the explanation given was since the Beachfront Villas | Rooms in a Homestay was vacant, they hadn't sticked on seafood and chicken. Options were available in vegetarian. Food 4/5, location 5/5, cleanliness 4.5/5. Another issue was, the toilet seat did not fit the toilet pot, have brought this to the management's notice.

The location and the view from the Beachfront Villas | Rooms in a Homestay are main usps of this property. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beach view premium room 301 to 304 have the best view of the sea and the beach. The breakfast options could be better and need to be expanded. Even the food menu is limited and could be expanded a bit. Overall a good experience.
The safety standards followed included temperature checks, staggered guest access to the dining area for lunch/dinner and availability of sanitizers as required.

I really like the place, it was clean and hygienic, the view was amazing and we could literally hear the sound of the waves, it was very peaceful, however, the room services were not up to the mark,

Beach front villas have the best location right in front of the beach as the name says, courteous staff, lip-smacking food, huge area to roam in. You feel relaxed

Rooms were clean, staff was polite, only issue is no authentic konkani lunch or dinner thali is not available here it will be great if they provide authentic konkani food also at this place as that is the only missing here. Other than that one of the best place to stay in ganpatipule.

Very nice and silent location! just front of beach! property spread in 7-8 acres! very nice and clean place to stay! all villas are private with separate sit out with table and chairs! good experience!

Rooms comfortable and clean. In food fish fry and Malwani curry are amazing. service was disciplined and welcoming staff. Mr. Sanju Chaudhry was nice man to help. View was absolute reason to choose this Beachfront Villas | Rooms in a Homestay. Small- size best view rooms with bungalow rooms. Location peaceful and calm. beach was 5 minutes walk-able distance. No standard market only basic retail shop that too are at certain distance. Overall experience peaceful and calm.

Good place in less price and good property but dining area for cooking and eating should be more clean and little bit it should look more good
