Beautiful Ama Homestay Kurseong

I went on a one-day trip with my girlfriend and stayed at this lovely homestay. The location is absolutely stunning, offering a breathtaking view of the distant mountains. The atmosphere is calm, peaceful, and perfect for couples or families looking to relax and disconnect from the chaos of everyday life. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for large groups of friends because the tranquility here is what makes the place so special, and too much noise would only ruin the vibe. The owner, Bikash Chhetri, deserves a special mention. His hospitality is truly among the best I’ve ever experienced. He went out of his way to help us, even managing to get us pizza after 8 p.m. when nothing else was available nearby. The way he welcomed us made us feel genuinely valued and comfortable from the very start. The rooms were cozy, clean, and incredibly quiet, making it the perfect escape for couples seeking privacy and comfort. We genuinely had one of the best times of our lives here, with peaceful mornings, warm conversations, and a sense of homely comfort that’s hard to find elsewhere. The only downside is that you have to walk up and down a steep slope to reach the place, so I wouldn’t recommend it for elderly people or young kids unless you have a car. Walking up and down can feel like a bit of a workout for most people, but if you’re fit enough, it’s actually pretty good exercise, lol. Overall, it’s a beautiful, peaceful getaway that leaves you refreshed and grateful for simple moments.

My Stay at the Beautiful Ama Homestay was very good. The Hotel staff and the owner were very friendly and helpful to all our requests. The location was also very reachable with the help of Taxi from Siliguri. The Geyser and balcony were a nice touch. The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning.

It was a beautiful experience staying there..peaceful environment..clean rooms and good food.. It was a beautiful stay..the rooms were clean..the view from the homestay was beautiful..the foods were very good..and only 1km from Kurseong main point..

The food is excellent, however the bathroom had bad smell and geyser was malfunctioning. Further the location of the room is quite awkward and its very difficult to go to room with heavy luggage and also for elderly persons.

This is not a homestay; it's more like a hotel with many restrictions. The food we had was not included in the room cost, which was a surprise as all the homestays have their food cost included. We stayed on the top floor, which was supposedly the best room in the hotel. The room itself was excellent, featuring a tv (without a remote switch) and a bathtub with a dedicated high-capacity geyser. There was an additional small-capacity geyser, but both were turned off at the circuit breaker. The owner informed us that using the geyser would incur an additional charge. The attendant was untrained and lacked basic etiquette; he was a former driver with no experience in hospitality. We were required to have our dinner at 8:30 p. M. In the open veranda. After requesting an alternative, we were finally allowed to eat at 9:30 p. M, still outside in the cold. We were also told that eating in the room was not allowed, as any stains on the fabric would result in a fine.

one of the best homestays in Kurseong. Rooms and bathroom are very nice and clean. Great hospitality and staff behaviour are also very nice.. location is also very close to Kurseong Market. the best thing is this place has a beautiful view of the hills. do visit this property while your trip to Kurseong. 😍
