Bentes Lodge

Location - 5/5 - in terms of view, the location is excellent. You can see mountain peaks and beautiful gardens- all through your room window. Please note, the motor-able road to this Bentes Lodge is right now (june, 2024) in bad condition, so you might need to hire large cars from pahalgam union taxi stand to reach here as not all cars can drive to this road. Room size - moderate enough, the washroom was spacious with a large mirror. The window was large, giving an excellent view of the outside. Cleanliness and smell - very clean, no damp smell facilities and service - wifi was good, back up lights when electricity was gone. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Food quality - excellent. We tried some biriyani, pulao, milk tea, omelette - these were very tasty and healthy. The homemade yoghurt they serve with biryani dishes was very delicious. It was not sweetened, and that’s why i liked it even more. Specialty - the view and quietness of this place are unparalleled. And their food is so homely. Things that can be improved - when power is cut, one charging point from the back up power can be helpful

The property is very beautiful , surrounded by mountains plus it's near a small waterfall ( 100 meters aways ) . The owner and staff's were super friendly and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The fireplace is beautiful. The rooms are cozy and has bed heaters . If you wake up at 5 in the morning then u will get to see nature at its best . ( look for the colourful birds to come ) The Only problem : the road reaching the property is not that good . Old-age people or people can face a bit of a problem . ( The owner has told that this issue will be fixed in the next 4-5 months ) . And the owner is very helpful and pro-active . He will arrange pickup from the market . Suggestion for the Owner: If possible then keep one electric kettle in each room . So that the guest doesn't have to wait or ask for hot drinking water early in the morning . Really Happy with the stay.

Visited this cottage on the first week of october 2024. It's almost 2. 5 kms from main market. 70% of the road has been newly constructed. So we didn't have any issues reaching this place as mentioned in earlier comments. Upon reaching there, we experienced such breathtaking views that we forgot about all the tiredness accumulated throughout the kashmir trip. We were helped immensely by both majid bhai(manager) and mehraj bhai(helper. They even arranged bonfire at night which made the trip memorable with other guests at the cottage. Food served was simple but best among all that we experienced in kashmir. Rooms and bathroom were neat and clean. Will definitely visit again.

We had an amazing stay at bent-es lodge. The view as absolutely breathtaking and the surroundings are very peaceful and serene. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating and make sure you have everything you need. To top it all off the food is delicious and provides authentic kashmiri food with a lot of flavour. We couldn’t have asked for anything more from our stay and would highly reccomend to anyone thinking of visiting pahalgam!

I visited the place in the month of jun e with my family of 6 members including two senior citizens. There is no doubt about the mesmerizing view you will forget all your pain once you reach the place. Food is superb and all care taker are supportive, majid bhai, mukhtar bhai only concerns, it is on the height and the road to the lodge is so worst for the senior citizens. Basic services must be provided without asking again and again.

My recent visit to kashmir with a group of 10 family friends we stayed at pahalgam bent-en lodge. The location of the Bentes Lodge excellent surround of trees, hills if like to stay in nature this is a perfect place. Rooms are good the staff very cooperative. Food no doubt very tasty. Only problem with road. You have to do trekking few meters to reach the Bentes Lodge. Senior citizens and knee problem persons it is difficult.

it's located at a peaceful corner at forest block of pahalgaam.location is excellent in terms of view but be prepared for trekking to your resort for almost 1 km one side as road condition leading to the property is not best. Food and hospitality is excellent.You will get homely vibes with excellent view

The property is really beautiful with a rustic touch and homely vive. If you want a peaceful stay away from the market area this is the perfect choice. View from this property is breathtaking. Staffs were hospitable and very caring. Little bit inside but once you reach there you won't regret.

It’s really really so beautiful! We enjoyed so much Actually the way to reach their is difficult but after reaching their it’s so so beautiful. The owner is super friendly and helpful and the most important thing is location far away from market area just felt like heaven

It’s worth all the hustle for reaching here on top. As the experience, the view and most importantly the staff here will ensure everything at its best! highly highly recommended for all to get this wholesome experience at least once.

We stayed at bent-es lodge in june, and it was fantastic. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay. The food was outstanding. You will get fresh home cooked food. The view was breathtaking. I highly recommend this stay for an unforgettable experience.

Excellent location away from main market, with lot of scenic view. Road can be improved. Limited food options but quite tasty food.

Pros: food, hospitality and location excellent owner said he will purchase big ups to overcome below cons cons: 1. No power. Ups has connection only for light and not even socket 2. No sufficient hot water for bath 3. Bed heater available but no power so not worked

It was a wonderful experience with the best view and amazing service. I had a really fun time the staff was also amazing.

Stay and people are awesome. Location is remote but best place for beautiful nature. Bikers be aware for the roads are bit bad. But doable.
