what stands out is the hospitality. Mr Jose and his family are excellent hosts. it's an offbeat area, not a popular tourist spot. you are very close to Kabini river. During spring the river is calm, there are 2 spots nearby where you can take a village boat and cross river for 10rs each way. Now stay is a 4 bedroom 1 story house that belongs to Mr Jose. exactly opposite is his house beside the river with his farmhouse. Do not expect 5 star amenities here. it's his personal touch that helps. you can stay peacefully, can cook yourself. overall clean house with small garden behind. you can walk around village roads. people around you are all very friendly, all speak english. breakfast prepared by mam was simple but tasty.

familyThis homestay is located on a road adjacent to kabini river. Place is surrounded by paddy fields and is a very good location for relaxing. There are no other activities or places to see in the vicinity. This place is good for people who prefer to enjoy the calm and serene locations away from bustling cities and crowded marketplaces. Walk among the paddy fields and down the road by kabini river are the only 2 things that we can do apart from resting in this homestay. Note: owner provides very delicious meals and breakfast options at reasonable rates.

familyWe had a pleasant stay though it was short duration at this well maintained home stay - host was a great personality and was always available for any support that we asked for -if you just want to be at the lap of mother nature idle place - roads are best, serene surrounding - only lack is it's a bit far off at a corner section.

Very close to nature

I went to this place with my friends. Its very calm and quiet here. The house was clean. However it is a bit old. The host mr jose welcomed us and provided meals at nominal costs.

Beautiful homestay in interior wayanad

familyIt's family run homestay located on the banks of kabini river. Beautiful home with all amenities and excellent for families. Backyard has lots of trees and plants including ramaphal, coffee plant, sapota, banana, coconut etc. One of the rooms in the house has board games and carroms. Place is cozy and quite clean.

What a fun stay!

We were 4 girls and were a lil worried about safety. But the hosts are a very nice couple who were very helpful and nice. We have a really nice time especially with the bonfire and the barbecue. Hope more people come and have fun at the place.
