Best Holiday Home

This guest house is definitely one of the most amazing and beautiful guest houses I have ever stayed at. The hospitality was mind blowing. The food was great and the cleanliness of the entire guest house was spot on. Everyone at the guest house was courteous and we didn't mind the slight detour of travelling a bit away from the city to get to the guest house. The food quality, quantity and pricing was excellent. The guest house ambiance was very relaxed and well maintained.. From the discreet entry to the walk down to the reception it seemed like a perfect place for a getaway from the hustle bustle of Shillong. Definitely better than the Govt owned property nearby.

Large spacious rooms. Balcony? And Large glass windows through which view of the city surrounded by hills can be seen very well. Location wise little away from centre of the town and not just on the side of main road, but it was not at all a problem. Rather it helps to stay you peacefully avoiding noise of vehicles. Lady Haidari park is very near to it. You must have to arrange a car for local sightseeing there, so location of Best Holiday Home becomes least important on the point regarding communication. Cleanliness? And Service was very nice. Toilets are clean and well maintained, Complimentary? Breakfast was good. Dinner food quality was also good

One of my best Best Holiday Home experience in shillong, a hassle free check in, and a clean spacious and well lit room. Hotel staff was always there to help with any queries. They also have an in house restaurant, with home style meals, and a buffet for breakfast. If you don't want that then one can easily order food via zomato or swiggy. Highly recommend it, as it is located in a residential area, and if someone has trouble with the location, call the Best Holiday Home staff and they will guide you well. All in all a very pleasant experience. Will surely visit again.

We travel-led with family members of 8 persons in a tempo traveller. As the approach road was stiff for big car, they provided us with their small car to Best Holiday Home and to main road, whenever we requested. We highly satisfied with their prompt service and courteous behavior, specially of manager who always tried to ensure our comfortable stay. The rooms & beds were clean. Foods were good & hygienic. We could view the scenic beauty of shillong from our room itself. Apart of the approach road of Best Holiday Home from main road, we had comfortable stay.

The location of the property is very good. It is not near to police bazar (the main market, but close enough to the main road, taxi stand and bus stop ; all basic shops, are within 8-10 mins walk. We had a room on the third floor and the view from the balcony was very pretty; it is suggested to take a 3rd floor room, if available. The breakfast buffet is standard, not much variety, but okay. It does not have a restaurant, but room service is available. Food quality and food price are both decent, although the chill i chicken was not as good as expected.

I am writing this review only to thank each and every crew employee of this guest house for their neatness cleanliness every sort of service in time or rather before time. Their way of serving food at room was pretty unique.This was the first time I was travelling with my 2 to 5 yrs old kid and without rice cooker but we didn't faces any problem since he liked almost each and every items that has been served on breakfast and dinner. They even made some customized pasta for my kid. Overall my 5 day stay. Best holiday Inn was excellent.

Good place to stay in shillong. Pros: 1) Quiet environment + no disturbance 2) Very clean bathroom and rooms 3) Near to police bazaar(15-20min walk) 4) Parking Available Cons: 1) The room locks are not good from inside (in some rooms) rest good no problem regrading security 2) Room service is little slow so if you want something tell them early. 3) Food is good but you have to repeatedly tell them how you want your food for best food experience. I stayed for two nights. The stay was good overall. I would rate 3.5 ⭐ out of 5 ⭐

Hotel service has been awesome. One of the best Best Holiday Home in Shillong ... Balcony view was fantastic. Noise free location ... Fod was excellent. Room space was enough ... Stuffs are really helpful. 24 hours hot water facilities ... I will definitely staying in future ... We had done our break fast at 7. 30 am in our room which was really good service at my point of view. Chainece item was excellent in dinner and prise was reasonable .. Card payments facilities available here.

The overall stay was extremely satisfied as the staff and owner hospitality was really up to the mark. The things which I expected I received more and I will recommend this property to my family members. Even though the food and the hygienic part was totally up to the mark. Location is very good as the property is having a good scenic view.

It was a well run Best Holiday Home and I had no complaints really except for the fact that the lady at the reception kept badgering me to check out sharp at 12. I understand Best Holiday Home policies but surely a big Best Holiday Home like this can give their guests 10 minutes more to pack their bags and get out, especially at a time when other guests aren't queuing up to check in. Apart from that, all good.

Price of the Best Holiday Home is on the higher Side, but we had a very peaceful stay. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staffs are helpful and dependable. Overall I had a good experience.

Wonderful stay. Comfortable bed. Can recommend 100. We woke up with a great view over the town shillong.

Hotel is good as well as staff. But food is not at all good/delicious. It's bellow average. Very oily and taste is not worthy we could not relish. But anyway care should be taken to improve preparation of food.

Stay was nice really nice, I did not expect that I will get such service from the guest house. Host was very cooperative and service was great. I would like to give 5 out of 5.

Guest House was very good I enjoyed a lot and service was very good. Room was neat and clean management was very good. Guest house outlook was neat. Food and drinks was awesome Wi-Fi and car parking was very good. Next time I will visit this guest house only when I come here.

Comfortable stay, trained staff and good view though slightly off the main road but overall wonderful stay

The destination of the guest house was very good. The guest house was located near to the transportation facility. The ambiance of the guest house was good. The overall service was good in the guest house. The room was neat and clean. All amenities were available in the room. The food quality was very nice in the guest house. The behavior of the staff was friendly in the guest house I had visited this guest house with my family for relaxation trip.

Bad experience .bBd service. The environment is very bad. In parking space local people enjoying with carrom board with very loud Hungama till night 12 am night. You can't sleep before.

1. The washroom is really spacious and 24/7 hot water is available. 2. Telivision is provided in the room but there are only one or two channels available which is a negative point. 3. Good breakfast provided in the Best Holiday Home. 4. Fast internet/wifi provided. 5. The location is good. 6. Clean bedsheets, towels, and pillows are provided. 7. A room heater and a electric kettle is provided. 8. Balcony and good view from the Best Holiday Home room.
