Bethsaida Hermitage

Room shower 🚿 was leaking , ligting outside hut were not working ( Room 612) , there was no kid play zone( should be added) , outdoor games should be there

Bethsaida hermitage is one of the very few properties where you will have the connect with people. It's located right in front of the beach with a nice scenic cliff. The view is just calm, beautiful and serene. One of the few properties in kovalam that charges reasonably. Rooms, food and massage is very affordable compared to the properties in the same vicinity. We were a group of 10 people - 7 adults and 3 kids. It was just awesome. You will find something for every age group. Strongly recommend for family

This place is very beautiful and a feast for eyes. The beach is pristine, very clean, blue water, soft sand and rocks towards the sides. A lifeguard was always present. Watching the sunset sitting on the rocks was exhilarating. The resort is very green and very well maintained. With hammocks and swings, it was good to relax under the trees. The pools were clean and had enough of poolside chairs to sun bathe on. They had 2 huge pools. The rooms were huge and were clean, bathroom was big and clean too. Had a good view of the sea from the room. The food was more catered towards health conscious and did have multiple options. We opted for ala carte and they made it well as per our requirement. Had a badminton court, basketball hoop and table tennis. There is a aazhimala shiva temple about 5 min drive or 20 min walk, had a 58 foot shiva statue, quite a popular temple. Kovalam and poovar are each 20 min away, hence the location is decent, 30 min from airport. The resort arranged a backwaters boat trip at poovar which was quite fun. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. All in all a fantastic place to stay.

A beautiful resort, well laid out.

It has nice view nice ambiance respectful staff members. Private beach is added attraction of stay. Beautiful view of sunset. Nearby to kovalam beach and lighthouse beach and Poovar islands. Restaurant need to upgrade other than that all are perfect.

It was like living two days in paradise

Nice property but average service

One of the best beach facing resorts that we have been to. The view of the kovalam beach is fascinating. Only one thing to improve is the food - very bland. As it's ayurveda focussed. The ala carte order took lots of time. But apart from this everything else was too good.

It was great stay at bethsaida. Thomas- the owner of resort is good person and he personally comes to each every person to talks about the stay. Each every staff was so polite and helpful. Had massage also and no doubt it was good.

The resort is located at a beautiful seashore. Though not suitable for the ones with knee pain and other old age issues. The rooms are pretty much average and not luxurious. Food is average too. Hygiene was also average. Be ready to meet a lot of lizards n cockroaches in ur room. In general, too overpriced for the services provided.

It was really a wonderful experience to stay in Bethsaida. Surrounding,private beach,swimming pool, room, resturent and what not...Every thing gives you immense pleasure..Soon after you entered in property.It is around 20 km away from city centre.so you feel your self in the lap ofMother nature.Mr.Thomus (MD )is very humble and generous person. He takes care of every guest personally.This is a wellness centre so you get good health care and fresh and nourisious food.Some amenities need to renovate as AC, cattle and room's lock system.*Keep one thing in mind that they don't provide room service.

A must go to property. It’s a hidden gem. Beautiful property with a blissful view and the most important thing is the staff, staff was very very sweet, humble, helpful. Mr fredrick is a very very hospitable man. I just cannot express what i exactly felt at the property.
