Bi & Ti (B&B) | Room & Caretaker

We have stayed in the Bi & Ti (B&B) | Room & Caretaker for 3 days. Rooms are fine, amenities were great too. You will have your own kitchen and every utensils, you need to cook your dinner or lunch. They charge very nominal amount to use their oven. Electric kettle is there too so you can make your own tea as many times you want. Breakfast is fine. It's not a Bi & Ti (B&B) | Room & Caretaker. It's a home-stay. So you wouldn't get the service you expect in a Bi & Ti (B&B) | Room & Caretaker. A caretaker is there. He only speaks local language, doesn't understand Bengali, Hindi or English. The main problem is it's location. It's about 1. 4 km walking distance from main market police bazaar in a hilly road. Takes 15-20 minutes of walking. While returning from police bazaar, either no taxi driver is willing to go to that location, or they charge too high. If you're in a budget tour or you want a peaceful cosy place where you don't want to be disturbed.
Rooms were a bit small. If you have 2-3 trolleys, you wouldn't have enough walking space. Rooms were clean and well furnished.

An amazing stay at Shillong, infact it was not less than another home for us. Very friendly host.And,the caretaker was very polite. Room small but cozy, sufficient space for 2 adults. Wifi service is good.The house has all the facilities you require for an extended stay. Located in a posh area in central Shillong, about 17 minutes walking from Police Bazar, this place offers a peaceful stay with nice and clean rooms and toilets and basic amenities. I stayed here with my mother for two days. Place is fine for short and budget stay. There is kitchen you can use by paying for the gas. Though,I chose swiggy for everyday. No water shortage. Cleanliness is good enough. We got standard breakfast of eggs and toast bread for first day & puri-sabzi for second day. I will definitely recommend this B&B 👍

The property is a homestay, located in the heart of shillong. Follow the google maps carefully and you should reach there without any issues. In reality, this is a three floored house, in which the ground floor is converted into a bed and breakfast. The rooms are decent, very well cleaned and the bathroom, although small is hygienic and modern. The check in experience is very smooth. The caretaker is a welcoming guy called ban. The linen was clean, the beds were well made. The mattress needs an upgrade as the one i got to sleep on, obviously had seen better days. It's a hassle free check in process. My wife and me went on a bike trip t highly recommend this homestay

The homestay was placed in a peaceful place at lachumire. Its not at all a Bi & Ti (B&B) | Room & Caretaker but a home of a lady (aunty) who is running it as homestay. You can cook here your own food, utensils and gas are there and raw material you have to bring your own. Breakfast was very nice and you can have it on kitchen dining table like home. Both veg and egg are available. Nature of aunty was very nice and hospitile. If you are planning for 3-4 days, must rent a bike to go in Shillong as it will be very nice to travel by your own.

Nice place to stay. Owner is very friendly. She prepared breakfast for us. Tasty one. Nice amenities. Good bed n mattress. Kitchen is nice. We made Maggi n tea. Use washing machine facility. Geyser is available now working fine. All amenities are available as mentioned. Homely feeling. Bath room facility is a good one. In short economy homestay with all facilities as home.

Upon arriving at Shillong we had a little difficulty in locating this home stay as it is in residential area. There is no signboard outside and I had to call the property owner for direction. The property owner is an elderly lady who is kind and helpful. She was always there to assist us whenever we needed something. This place felt more like a home far away from home.

We stayed there for 5 nights. It was nice stay. Walking distance from Police bazaar. But, very hard to find because no display board is there. Clean rooms. But, no lunch and dinner facility is available. And caretaker don't know Hindi and English. Everytime homestay owner is needed for communication.

The room was good, it was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable. The caretaker was very helpful and friendly. The location of the property was very nice, was easy to reach. I got all the facilities that needed. I felt very secured while staying in the property. The english breakfast was very good.

The land lady is very much talkative and friendly. There is a kitchen inside, where anyone can make food or tea or tiffin. Breakfast is awesome. All most all facilities are there. Low budgeted homestay.

Never thought Shillong will give us the best retreat till date! The hospitality of a 70 years old lady. The owner of that very place make me spellbound! She took care of us like a mother does!

A pleasant stay with all the basic ammeneties in place at affordable rates. The house was quite clean and very well maintained, staff was quite hospitable and rooms were quite clean. The staff gave us the wifi password immediately upon entering which we liked very much
