Stay was very comfortable. Room size quite big. Staff was very supportive. Only vegetarian meals are available. Only chappati's were available there is no tandoor in the kitchen. But whatever meals we had all were very tasty and portion quantity enough for two persons. There was no a la carte menu as such but kitchen staff was ready to prepare whatever we like. In-room all time menu was also very limited. Pool is very small. Guest were using the pool even in these covid times and that too with trouser-shirt (i. E. Without any swimwear. Property has 18 rooms with savanna grass around the rooms to give you the feel of jungle. Property has a wonderful gazebo. Game room for kids and adults. Wifi in rooms is a problem. Air-tel doesn't work and jio too has a limited connectivity. Compared to facilities available the room rates are on a higher side but If you want to stay in velavadar this is the best option other property viz. Black-buck lodge rates are more than any five star Blackbuck Safari Lodge Velavadars. Best time to visit velavadar black-buck sanctuary is from diwali to mid march. Blackbuck sanctuary is 7 kms from the Blackbuck Safari Lodge Velavadar. At the sanctuary you can get the permit on the spot. You can take your own car inside the sanctuary or private gypsy ( in limited numbers available at the gate of sanctuary. To take guide from the sanctuary with you is compulsory. Permit charges per car : rs. 400 (that includes dry land and wet land) guide charges : rs. 400 private gypsy at sanctuary gate : rs. 1750 gypsy of Blackbuck Safari Lodge Velavadar : rs. 2000 if you want you can ask for Blackbuck Safari Lodge Velavadar's naturalist mr. Amit velavadar to accompany you, who charges rs. 600 (but even then you have to take the guide from sanctuary which is compulsory.

Overall an outstanding & safe stay for a memorable visit to black buck national park. A beautiful cosy home in the grasslands of velvadar for a nice safari. Mr amit who was the safari guide cum driver of gypsy was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, very trained to adjust the vehicle position for excellent view and photography. Overall. An outstanding trip. Stay & experience of nature at its best.
The Blackbuck Safari Lodge Velavadar strictly followed the laid down protocols for covid 19 safety, hygiene and sanitation. The sop was strictly followed. I was impressed by their procedures and the friendly way they were getting same implemented by guests through a smile behind their masks. A safe stay with a very safe safari to beautiful black buck national park.

Very tasty food but only issue is they provide only veg food, the staff are attentive, polite and helpful. The location is remote and suitable for a family stay far away from the busy noisy cities. The black safari is 10 mins travel by car from the resort, property is well maintained.
Staff were clean and neat maintaining social distancing, kind enough and as well informative about surroundings including the reserve. Rooms maintained very clean and no negative smelling.

They've a beautiful property, the staff and management are very active and handful. The hygeine, cleanliness and sanitation were well maintained. Buffet was good but the variety was less. Their nature walk, cycling and camp fire were really interesting. Talking to amit bhai and rajsinh and mehul bhai, was really nice. In and all, it really makes your stay memorable and a nice getaway for all!

An ideal place beautifully sited and laid out for a visit to black-buck national park. The Blackbuck Safari Lodge Velavadar provides the safari vehicle with a very trained guide and driver. Amit added value to the safari. We had great sightings and photos of blackbucks and birds. We also sighted hyena. Overall a very satisfying trip from stay to safari.

Overall a very nice place to stay. Rooms and the entire place was very clean and well maintained Staff was very cooperative. Swimming pool was very small but clean. Breakfast was good but with very limited items. Best part was the view of sunset from the resort. Blackbuck Safari was also very near and enjoyed the Safari also.

Hotel is good as far as services and food is concerned and rooms are tidy and cottages type. Overall Blackbuck Safari Lodge Velavadar is well maintained.
Our stay was near national park and so there was no village or town in vicinity and thus extra safety of people should be considered by extra safety at gates etc.

The visit was for break in monotony. It served its purpose. Nice cosy stay. Well appointed rooms with amenities. Good room service and house keeping. On weekend rush bit slow service but manageable. Breakfast timing could have been from 7. 30am in stead of 8. 30am. Overall pleasant stay with decent food.

It's an excellent property in the near vicinity of Black buck sanctuary. Very cordial staffs. Rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. Food quality is also very good, only bit expensive.

Excellent property very good staff nice rooms. I suggest to owners that recruit skilled staff and supervisors for each department.

Hotel needs to improve on food variety and few outdoor activities. Trained staff and better dining area will help attract guests.

Property is decent, 18 rooms, small pool, good food, very courteous staff.

The should do something creative in the middle lawns around the cottages. And add some more food items to the menu. Overall the stay is very nice and clean.
