Blanket Hotel & Spa Munnar

Property is located on the edge of a waterfall amid-st the lush green tea plantations of munnar. The place is easily approachable by vehicle. There is ample parking space. On reaching, we received a warm traditional welcome. After checking in to our room with mesmerizing valley view and roar of waterfall, we went to the open air cafe deck for high tea. The view from deck is simply breathtaking. One can sit for hours there with a cup of freshly brewed coffee and soak in the view. There was a local dance performance on rooftop on the occation of christmas before dinner. Food is delicious. Next morning, i enjoyed swimming in the infinity pool which is temperature controlled. The pool is beside the cafe deck and overlooks the waterfall. It was very relaxing to swim in the pool surrounded by the rustling of tree leaves by the cool morning breeze. There are other activities like cooking session, chocolate making, cycling, yoga, walking tour to the waterfall and others. Breakfast buffet is elaborate. Jain food is available. We were gifted a big christmas cake at the time of check out.

I have been to Munnar several times, but this was a totally new experience, thanks to the location. Situated in the side of a cliff, with a breathtaking view of the valley and the waterfalls, this resort is an absolutely stunning place to spend your holidays in Munnar. Special mention requires to the staff who were very much cordial and responsive. The first thing that you should do once you reach there should be a dip in to the temperature controlled pool, which will refresh you like anything. Gym and the recreation center were good and maintained, food was good except for a few dishes like biryani which need to be improved. Rooms were nice and clean, spacious, only few rooms have the balcony though. Overall I would give a five star to this resort.

Stayed in Blanket Hotels and Spa in Dec. 2019 for a night as a couple. Below is my experience: Excellent hospitality. They provided a tour of property and its attractions on arrival. Great views from room - forest, waterfall, tea gardens. Stayed in the premium suite. The room interiors and amenities were excellent. Many complimentary activities to keep guests engaged like yoga, trek to waterfall live cooking session, fire/traditional dance. Restaurant very good, spacious with great views. Staff very cooperative. It has a gym and also indoor games. Location is way to reach. Just 2 kms from main road. Cons: It is not a very large resort property. It has 10 floors in a limited area. But its still built in a spacious way. Not at all congested.

The resort is located at a very beautiful spot in munnar facing the attukad waterfall. We stayed in honeymoon room which has a full size balcony facing the waterfall and offers waterfall, valley and hill view altogether. That is the best room to be in as views are just too good. Resort offers lot of other value added activities like fire show, live music etc which adds to the pleasure while staying with family and friends. Staff are welcoming, accommodating and courteous. The only thing that hey can work on is to increase the spread of the buffet as it seems limited for a 5 star property. Otherwise it is a must stay resort in munnar

The property is located at a perfect spot surrounded by water fall, mountains and tea garden. Staff is super helpful. Cons - bathroom towels were fewer and old - no bathrobes, bathroom slippers were provided unless you call them and request for those specific items - no iron - room had no carpet and it was quite cold placing your feet on the floor - food was average. Regular items like idli sambhar, dosa were good, but starters veg and non veg were very bad. Chicken and mutton curry were consistently below average throughout our stay of 3 days fish curry was also bad as they used some frozen fish and it smell bad.

The view from the Blanket Hotel & Spa Munnar is spectacular and unmatched! the fall, river, tea garden, forest and rolling clouds- add to the mystical ambience that makes you one with munnar! the staff is helpful and polite and try to make you perfectly at home. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. On the negatives, the talent show was one to be missed! further, the stilt architecture of the Blanket Hotel & Spa Munnar jutting out of the pristine hill makes it an eyesore from the other side. Could have been done better with greener paint scheme to blend into the hillside.

stay was excellent...the Blanket Hotel & Spa Munnar staff was very courteous and helping ...overall a very good experience 👍. the approach road to the Blanket Hotel & Spa Munnar is very bad.... but that's not Blanket Hotel & Spa Munnar's fault...so that can be added in the review....location of the Blanket Hotel & Spa Munnar and complimentary offerings are very good and delightful. food quality was excellent and food options were ample to choose from. excellent option for stay in munnar....i will definitely recommend this one

The stay was amazing hope I could have given more stars, but 5 was the limit. Once you step in the Blanket Hotel & Spa Munnar, you feel like an celebrity, the view of a terrace garden was breathtaking. You get welcomed with garland and welcome drink. The management explains you about the high tea, the guided tour and the program that was being held. Then once I checked into my room, the view of waterfall and the sound of waterfall is so mesmerising. In the morning your balcony is filled with clouds. 😍😍

Located a little remotely with the access road a little less maintained but amazing view of the waterfall. Staff are extremely well behaved and professional. All the 5 star services you would expect. Food was amazing hats off to rakesh executive chef for the service. Fire show was a mind relaxer with good spa services. I definitely recommend it for people visiting munnar for the first time.

We stayed at blanket Blanket Hotel & Spa Munnar from 26 to 29th of august and what an awesome stay it was! the location is mind blowing just next to a huge waterfall. The staff was excellent very caring and courteous. The food quality was simply great. The rooms were very neat clean and spacious. I would highly recommend this Blanket Hotel & Spa Munnar to everyone.

It wad a very nice stay at blanket resort and spa. Hotel is situated among-st very scenic spot having tea estate and big waterfall which can be viewed from Blanket Hotel & Spa Munnar room itself. Hospitality and food was excellent. It is also near to munnar hence we can really visit munnar town for shopping and other purpose, other attractions of munnar also very nearby. They are providing vechile for those who need it
