Blossom Inn 400m from Golden Temple

Dear MakeMyTrip Team, I am writing to report an unfair extra charge by the hotel "Blossom Inn (400m from Golden Temple, Amritsar)" for my stay on 18–19 Oct 2025. The booking confirmation clearly mentions the checkout time as 11:15 AM. On 19th Oct, I spoke to the hotel around 11:00 AM and informed them that we would need around 45 minutes more to pack and leave. The staff verbally agreed and did not mention any extra charge. However, during checkout at 12:00 PM, they suddenly demanded for the short delay. I was not informed about this charge at any time before checkout. I paid via PhonePe to *Kanwarjeet Singh at 12:23 PM. I request you to kindly look into this matter and arrange a refund of or credit it to my MakeMyTrip wallet and also the hotel parked my vehicle at wrong parking nearby their premises and an online challan was issued by the traffic police for my vehicle because of their irresponsibility and take strict action about this also . It didn't have golden temple view but it was really close to it, just a few steps away. There is no parking fecility so you'll have to park few meters away. There was power cut and no backup for ac or switches, only fans and light were working. Otherwise Room and service was good.

Very good behaviour from Paaji. I suggest everyone stay here at least once if you’re planning a trip to Amritsar.

Very nice stay here. All staffs are very good and polite. Rooms are neat and clean bathroom are also neat and clean. All visiting places are nearby.

Hotel review 1. Prime location near golden temple, jallianwala bagh, and amritsar corridor. 2. Average hotel with decent cleanliness. 3. Rooms lack dryers, heaters; toiletries only on request. 4. Very small and cramped washrooms. 5. No direct car access; parking available nearby, followed by an e-rickshaw ride to the hotel. 6. Suitable for location-focused short stays.

The location was excellent and close to golden temple. Helpful staff and family had a lovely time. Recommended.

Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience. The room was neat and clean, and the washroom was very well-maintained. The facilities were excellent, and the hotel's location was convenient as it was close to the golden temple and the main market.

The room had 2 double beds comfortable for family of 2 adults 2 kids. Bathroom was good and clean better than expected. Room cleaning and fresh towels was done on request. Location walkable distance to golden temple and jallianwala bagh. The downside being no lift and the location not too many cabs willing to go. Overall good stay for family.

Room is clean, well maintained washroom clean. Room size is little small but. Hassle free check in also host uncle is very cooperative.

Location of the hotel is good. Walking distance from golden temple. Rooms are bit small but good, clean. I only had one issue that i had to shift to another room post check in. I had booked for 2 days and stayed one. Still this happened. And secondly there was no lift. So before booking for elderly do confirm with them. Staffs, owner everyone is very good and helpful. If i get a chance i will definitely book again.

Excellent hotel near to golden temple. It is within 5 min walking distance. Very clean hotel. I would highly recommend for family stay.

Amazing stay, the way owner treated was absolutely like a family and owners parents were also there at the reception. They treated us like family members. Amazing hospitality, rooms were a little tight but its a value for money.
