Blue Ocean The Fern Resort & Spa, Ganpatipule

V comfortable stay in an idyllic location along the konkan coast. We woke up to the chirping of birds and the buzz of the cicadas. A beautiful well maintained property with manicured gardens and trees and villas sprawled across the property. There is a spa which we missed going to. The property has a private beach across the road and lovely gazebos along the beach where you can laze all day in the sun and after sundown with a beach side cafe serving special malvani fish/chicken thalis and delicious solkhadi and fish curries which is an absolute delight. In the evening one can sit along the beach and enjoy cups of tea with delicious snacks and u can watch the sun set on the sea. There is paragliding and a host of water sports for all to enjoy at the beach. The best part of the stay was extremely courteous and helpful staff who are ready to give you a buggy ride whenever you want. From the pool to your rooms or to the swimming pool. The soulful spiritual music playing in the garden by the beach calms your soul and mind. Strongly recommend everyone to go through this experience and stay at blue ocean resort and spa. Happiness is all about a peaceful stay and a calming meditative experience when you visit ganpatiphule and stay in this property! we would like to come back here again and again. Blue ocean is a huge property with a large area dedicated to room and villas and an equally large area by the beach. We booked an executive room which was actually quite big. It had a huge sea facing balcony which was sea facing. The whole resort is so green with a large number of diverse flowering plants. Interspersed with budhha statues. It was scenic and peaceful just to walk around the property. The pool area is also decent with plenty of poolside benches. I would have liked a restaurant there as well. I am sure they can add one considering the abundance of space. The high point of the property is the beach. It is clean scanty and supremely beautiful. They have a nice beachside restaurant and beautiful beds for you to relax and chill by the beach. My family spent most of the time there. Again, another suggestion would be to have the beachside restaurant open for longer hours and with more variety as compared to the in house restaurant. The food was good and the breakfast buffet was decently diverse. Overall we were looking for three days of relaxation away from mumbai and we got exactly what we were looking for. Thank you.

Let me start off by saying that the property is great. Its situated just far enough from the hubbub of ganapatipule but not so far as to pose a constraint in exploring the town. The proximity to malgund beach is also a strong positive and their beachside restaurant is very well positioned. The property itself is very serene and has umpteen variety of flora to make you feel close to nature. The room itself i felt was overvalued. We paid just over to 5k per night and the room just didnt live up to that standard. It was big and spacious and also had a balcony with a decent view however there were stains on the bottom part of the mattress and the overall cleanliness of the room, while above average, was not on par with the pricing. We were upgraded to a villa since the room complex had no more guests and this room had a more rustic feel with a much taller ceiling. However the bathroom was a significant downgrade over the previous room. The food at both the restaurants was just about average and the breakfast was below average. Overall the resort is only a good choice if you can get the rooms at a lower rate between 3. 5-4k.

This place is truly a hidden gem in the divine town of ganpati pule. The property is a rare combination of scenic beauty, greenery and luxury. Rooms were up to the mark. The campus has a big swimming pool, a serene ganesh temple on hill top(the view of sea from here is a surprise, spa, gym, restaurant, kids water play area (was not operational, lots of trees and villas. The resort is not immediately next to beach but the private beach is hardly a 5 mins walk and in fact the walk to the beach itself is a refreshing journey in itself. The beach is clean and calm. The coconut trees and lawn created a picturesque view. The beach side restaurant adds to the experience. Spa massage was a stress buster. Property is well maintained and clean. The only issue was mobile network but decent speed wi-fi compensated. The staff was courteous and helpful. Looking forward for our next vacation at blue ocean. It's a must visit place and gateway to relaxation in nature's lap. Highly recommended

Pleasant experience at the mesmerising resort. Its an beautiful property wonderfully landscaped. I stayed at beach facing tent houses. It was equipped with basic amenities which is expected of 5 star property. Food is okay not bad not great. My property was away from main reception so most of the staff takes time to respond. Wifi is hit and miss when it works its fine when it doesn’t its very difficult because there is zero network even for making card payment. Would love to have more option in tide cafe for food and drinks . But as family we love good beach that we got so overall it was good trip. The maximum you can spend here is 1.5 days that is enough. Advice: Go with your own vehicle. Be Prepared to spend time away from phone. Suggestion to property: food prices can be brought down. Keep staff for both property separate and rooms can be made more spacious by removing unnecessary furniture.

I stayed with family in executive room and sea villa the view from sea villa is breathtaking. The private beach of the Blue Ocean The Fern Resort & Spa, Ganpatipule is easily accessible, very clean and gives a great view. The cost charged in terms of upkeep of rooms is high. Staff is great but resort is too big so less number of staff. Foodwise -the rates are reasonable but taste needs to improve drastically. Dinning hall is always hot due to less or no working acs. Tide restaurant near the beech is open and has a great setting -food options are limited. Gardens overall are huge and well maintained the golf cart should be available apart from checkin checkout as well as resort is too big. No mobile reception (but wifi is pretty good in every room. Overall -easily the best resort in ganpati pule if you are looking for peaceful stay.

The stay was awesome. I booked the fun club villas, the rooms are quite huge however it had few maintenance issues like shower not working however it was clean. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful but had their limitations, like service was quite slow. The restaurant took almost an hour to serve food. The breakfast was not great, it could have been better but like i said the hospitality of the staff compensated the limitations. The private beach was the highlight, extremely clean and pristine beach. The beach restaurant was quite expensive but the view makes you feel good after all. I can say it is one of the best properties in ganpatiphule. Won't mind visiting again. Also, so not miss the temple in the property, it has spectacular beach view as it is located at a height.

A great escapade to serenity tranquility !!! Close to an almost deserted beach and inhouse hike to a beautiful temple everything about this property is so dreamy from reception to house staff to kitchen staff all were very courteous and extremely polite ..The security guards were so protective i found it very sweet !! Especially kudos to breakfast manager mr Bansi ,bartender Biman and others they look into very minute details of food …and ofcourse the. Food was absolutel delicious !! Though they dont have seafood and fish (we went in rains ) the breakfast spread was sooo authentic indian ,, we really enjoyed our weekend stay and definately recommend to surely visit esp Ratangirikars who keep going to Goa … its a very beautiful getaway from home in a short time

The holiday was good the property is also good, the staff can be a bit more hospitable though they weren’t negative on any aspect. One strong recommendation on the Spa.. pls don’t waste money, it is run by inexperienced staff both myself and my wife didnot enjoy the spa and get it was a waste of money

We stayed for a day only. Resort is well maintained. They hv two properties divided by a road. One is facing ocean and view is stunning. Other is also very well maintained. Food is just ok. They had sauteed veggies and brocolli seemed to hv been infested with worms. So pl. Don't eat without checking. When i brought this fact to the notice of manager, he was quick to get fresh vegetables, but by then my stomach was full. They need to improve on food quality

Property is huge, service and staff is good, only concern we faced is food, it's not kids friendly ( getting non spicy)also for room service food option are less mainly for evening snacks and dinner. Heater was also not working. They have kids pool but not kids play area.

I stayed at this property with my family. It’s an amazing place to stay. It's the perfect place to stay in nature. It's a peaceful place, we can hear birds chirping the whole day. It has a private beach, and it's also very clean and calm. The beachside property provides a restaurant for refreshments as well as lunch & dinner. You can enjoy the sunset by sitting on the property. I enjoyed the sunset a lot. The staff was very polite, and from check-in to check-out was handled by ms. Shruti & ms. Shrutkala, it's was excellent. Gurav kaka the cart driver gives you all the information regarding the property while going to the room. Ms. Riya at a restaurant serves with full attention. Everyone does a great job, thanks to them.

Location was very good.Villa was good.Meal was good.Service was also very good.During our stay they put projector for semi final and final of worldcup so enjoyed a lot on big screen.Staff was good.👍

Located at a very close distance from ganapatipule. Very tranquil location nestled in woods. Very polite & helpful staff. Neat & clean. Tasty food with nice presentation. Beautifully crafted beach side garden which gives a very pleasant & pristine experience.

Location is awesome and private beach area is good. Property is huge and nicely spread. Swimming pool is ok and needs proper cleaning and maintenance. More indoor game facilities needs to be provisioned.
