It's a beautiful property with different experience pros - Good ambience, good food, very neat and clean. The staffs are good especially in the restaurant..they had the courtesy to ask guests whether the food is good..that's impressive. Swimming pool was neat and clean. Cons - we went there for my birthday.. and we had sent message through app enquiring about special arrangements or cakes but we didn't get any response. I suggest like other resorts they should give cake as complimentary. They said they have someone's number in which we can order but we didn't like the response from receptionist person hence we didn't opt for it.. luckily FB cakes delivered to BODHIWOODS RESORTS. when we arrived to BODHIWOODS RESORTS first we meet is receptionist but if that person face is so disinterested the complete vibe of the BODHIWOODS RESORTS goes bad. I was telling him to give cake as a complimentary as a suggestion he was least interested and was talking to his colleague then I had to repeat again. Even while check out .. no smile.. nothing.. You should atleast ask how was your stay but no he was least bothered anyways hope they tell the receptionist guy to show some courtesy. The good point is It is a must visit property 😁

I recently had the opportunity to stay at this relatively new property, which has been well-maintained and shows great promise. The on-site restaurant, although small, offers a cozy dining experience, albeit with a limited staff due to the resort's intimate size. During my two-night stay, i found the accommodations to be comfortable, but the bathroom could benefit from a bit more space, considering the property's overall size. One thing to note is the property's location, which is situated outside the town. While this can be a blessing for those seeking tranquility, it can also feel somewhat isolated, especially after 7-8 pm when the surrounding area becomes deserted. Driving in and out of the property can even feel a bit eerie at times. If you're planning to explore mahabalipuram and its surrounding attractions, this property might be a good choice. However, if you're looking for a relaxing getaway with ample amenities, you might want to consider other options. On the plus side, the resort does offer live music in the evenings, which can be a lovely way to unwind. Overall, this property shows potential, but it's essential to be aware of its limitations and unique characteristics before booking your stay.

Stayed at this place during my visit to mahabalipuram. Will try to provide details on all aspects of this resort ! the parking space can accommodate around 8-10 cars. Even if it's full there is space nearby to park the vehicles. The checkin was smooth. I had opted for chalet which was spacious enough for family of 3 (2adults and a kid. The room has a different feel since it's completely made of wood. Each room is separate and doesn't connect to other rooms like regular BODHIWOODS RESORTSs. Now coming to main part, other facilities in the resort. They have indoor and outdoor games. Indoor games room has around 8-10 games like carrom, uno, chess, darte, jenga and many more. Outdoor games include badminton, archery etc. There are 2 swimming pools which are around 4 feet deep. There is a kids play zone and cycles are available to use in the resort. All the monuments and museums are within 1-2kms. The restaurant serves very good food. The buffet breakfast had a good spread of items and the service was really good. Totally worth opting for breakfast in the package. Overall it was a wonderful and relaxed stay at bodhiwoods. Will recommend everyone to stay at this place.

The stay was nice and pleasant. I booked a studio chalet and it was good for two people, neat and clean. Restroom was a little small but was good enough and clean. The staff were very polite and courteous and helped with room cleaning, etc. Promptly. Overall amenities in the resort were good - has 2 pools for adults, 1 for kids, indoor activity center with games like carrom board, chesss, ludo, etc, a place for outdoor sports and they had sports equipment (volley ball, shuttle, cricket bat, ball. They also had a small kids play area. The resort is filled with trees and gives a good soothing feeling. They also have a place where they maintain some rare and unique birds and kids would like it. The place is around 1. 5 kms from center of mahabalipuram and is situated a calm and serene place. It is also very easily accessible from ecr. A couple of cons, swimming pool is slightly unclean with leaves and dust although i saw them clean it regularly. Since there are a lot of trees and plants, there are a lot of mosquitoes also, so keep the room door shut. The restaurant has very limited options for vegetarians but the food taste was good.

While there are two small swimming pools on-site, the water is salty and the cleanliness could be improved. Overall, this resort is a great option for families, particularly those with young children who will appreciate the bird aviary. With some attention to the swimming pool cleanliness, it could be even better.

We had an amazing stay in bodhiwoods resort, mahabalipuram. The chalet was made out of wood, spacious and unique. It was clean and the bathroom was well equipped with shower, body wash, shampoo, towels and running hot water. The surroundings were so calm and full of trees. The food was excellent, especially the crab curry. Buffet breakfast was ok, sambar was a disappointment. The best part was the aviary, full of exotic birds in their natural habitat, it was so lovely to see the different kinds of species from different countries. Mr anthony was very kind and supportive and took care of our needs. The location was great, away from the crowd but just 10 minutes to the sightseeing places. It was indeed an excellent stay and time.

It’s an amazing resort, with access to all the monuments of mahabalipuram at a short distance. The one bedroom chalet is small, so would recommend booking a bigger room, specially if you are travel-ling with kids. It’s a small property but service is very prompt. Despite being a small place, cycling, archery, swimming pool, indoor games room, a small place for ducks and a huge bird aviary with loads of parrots are available at the property. Breakfast buffet was decent, food is just above average overall. The BODHIWOODS RESORTS provided complimentary dinner on both nights of our stay, which was nice- specially on the new year eve. A nice stay.

I booked stay for one day and the place was pretty good and silent. Food was very good. Price of food was slightly high but since the taste was good, that should be okay. Bird park is the highlight here. Overall a very decent stay. Only negative things i could say were i had delay in services provided (channels were not recharged in tv and it took half a day for the assistance team to sort this out after multiple follow ups. Wifi services were down half a day and i was provided the wifi credential details half a day later, but i had challenges even in using it. I didn't get wifi services till i checked out)

Bodhiwoods is a excellent option for a family stay cation with kids and the service is too good

We had breakfast and two cups of milk which was prepared well.

The stay was good and the room was clean. There was ample space for parking and having a restaurant, even the food was good. The resort atmosphere was pleasant and it is located near the attractions of the city. Minor things to note is ac noise is slightly louder and display light on the ac is too bright in the night.

Very nice place to spend holiday. Specially if u r bird lover u must best part different style of rooms n bird aviary. Feels like homestay. Calm environment. All staff helpful. N very clean

We had nice family time in this resort. Kids are happy in the swimming pool, birds, activity area and play area. Food is also good (we had morning breakfast only. Cycles and play area could be maintained better. Supportive/room services are good and friendly.

A stay with lot of surprises. Good food, bird park, good landscaping and wooden cottages were the highlights of the stay. I like the attention to detail approach of the BODHIWOODS RESORTS management.
