Bolgatty Island Resort (KTDC)

Bolgatty palace ktdc resort is located amid-st a forest of old large trees. There are enough areas to stroll in nature's bounty making you feel relaxed and refreshed. Being away from the bustle of city you can escape from the pressure of city life. The staff at the resort are very friendly. What they may lack in professionalism and perfection they make up love and attention. We were highly touched by the loving gesture shown by their manager mrs. Sindhu. She got a pic of us framed immediately and presented us when we checked out. Food is good. They offer good variety at breakfast. Rates are nominal for a Bolgatty Island Resort (KTDC) of this stature. Even laundry rates are affordable for everyone. The place is maintained very nearly. There are ample spots for photoshoot. Surrounded by water all around you can see vessels of difficult sizes passing near the resort.

Our stay at bolgatty palace resort was just awesome as the property is so beautiful as well as it's location. The location and surroundings is to die far and it's very close to marine drive and also access to fort kochi and vypin is great as there is boat and ro ro service. However food and service of staff needs to improve a lot. They charge you for food and drinks on par with five star Bolgatty Island Resort (KTDC)s but service is very poor and you get much better food from outside restaurants. I think people are visiting this beautiful property only for the sake of the pleasure in staying here for a couple of days, and it looks like the staff has taken this for granted. If service is improved then bolgatty island resort will undoubtedly be the best place to stay in kochi.

We had an excellent stay in the bowl getty island resort. We were mine of us, and the staff really took good care of us. The location of the Bolgatty Island Resort (KTDC) is extraordinary with backwaters at 1 side, and the arabian sea at the other. The food and the Bolgatty Island Resort (KTDC) facilities were very good. Next day morning, we had a early morning flight. So we could not avail for the breakfast. Yes, but in adjustment of that, they served as excellent snacks in the evening a day before, which just goes to say how much they care for the customers. The rooms are very good. Good, ac good bathrooms, and the overall. Reception and hospitability is excellent

Ambience is great , food good, rooms average, view pool are good , rooms needs to be modernised , toilets too, property , the views , the lake too picturesque, I will come back soon , rooms cleanness and toilets needs to re do . Staff where helpful and pleasant. Boating facilities , water metro facilities added advantage, I would recommend for couples and for those who wish to stay in water front property. One of the best properties by ksrtc, huge chances for improvement, hope the corporation will look in to that . The port view and ships we’re looking great, we too a water ride in water metro too

The property is awesome... it is a government organisation run property on an island. There are beautiful views of Harbour. I could point out container ship, Naval Ship and a Cruise. Rooms we stayed were slightly away from reception, good breakfast for the price I paid. Staff are good especially Front office supervisor, he guided our trip very well with the help of the maps.. Access to uber is easy, they do come to the doorstep. Bathrooms are good and renovated. Again property location is awesome

It was really a nice experience with bolgatty island resorts. Room was spacious with all aminities. I have taken marina view room and the view from balcony was incredible. Quite big and deep pool and ambience was amazing. Sunset view in front of palace was incredible. Buffet breakfast is superb and delicious. There are lot of varities available. One disadvantage i notices was the food cost when we are ordering yo room. It is too high for a ktdc Bolgatty Island Resort (KTDC).

Great place to stay in kochi which is very peaceful and calm. To me this place is always close to my heart since my childhood and will always be the same. The staffs were really helpful and supportive throughout the stay. For people who wanted to break off from busy schedule, need to be in a place which is very peaceful and silent at a decent price don't need to have second thoughts, you can definitely go ahead with this place.

Stay was good. Neat rooms and good ambience. Good area for spending time with family. Staff was polite and behaved very friendly. However the service standard (rooms, cleanliness food etc) is not at par with other private 4 or 5 star Bolgatty Island Resort (KTDC)'s and should be improved further. Since a lot of foreigners are visiting kerala, service standards should be improved to promote tourism. Overall nice experience.

Got the best room for the rate. Didn’t have any issues to occupy the room. Though check in was at 2 pm, they let me in at 11. 30 am. Thanks a lot to make my trip. I made my flight booking to delhi and return for 6 persons through make my trip last month. Thanks, i am very comfortable booking trips through makemytrip

I stayed with family. excellent 👌. it is a place surrounded by water. Lake and see. dinner and breakfast super. my children like every thing including swimming pool and play area. I recommend this place for leasire and night stay

If you want a feel of olden era, this is the place. Even though it is government controlled, hospitality is excellent and staff are very helpful. Food is very good.

The room was spacious. But the shower area did not have a door. The swimming pool, basket ball, table tennis facilities were very good. The bar and dining was superb. The staff were courteous to a certain extent. Overall, i would rate it a 7 out of 10.
