Bonjour Bonheur Ocean Spray

Lovely property but dated. The property is on ecr and convenient to access. They have a back gate through which one can access the beach in 5 mins (walk. The beach is lovely too. The staff is excellent. Very helpful and always available to assist. If you request for a buggy to take you to the room, the team jumps in to help. They will also assist anyone on the way with a drop. The breakfast on day 1 and also dinner on both days were good. However, the second day’s breakfast was a little disappointing. Also, the staff seemed to be missing on day 1 at breakfast time and so when i ordered dosas, the chef made them and left them at the counter with us ending up getting cold dosas. The swimming pool is huge and is absolutely gorgeous. We spent a lot of time there. Again, while the rule states that only people in nylons are allowed into the pool, we saw people jumping in whatever clothes they were in. They need to get a little stricter. No lights in the swimming pool. All the wires are open next to the stools inside the pool which also seem to be the lights. The place is designed around a water body and every cottage overlooks this water body. Unfortunately, there’s moss and the water body doesn’t seem to have been cleaned for months. This also means tons of mosquitoes and we had to request for an extra mosquito repellent. They also have lots of geese on the property and while this is nice during the day, at least on one night, the geese started cackling from 3. 30 am in the morning and it was impossible to sleep.

if atleast once you would like to spend value for time and money then visit this resort which is just 13kms from puducherry and on ecr road. we took tahiti private pool villa and you can trust me that i was satisfied to core for my value for time and money. a well maintained spacious luxury villa. the premise of resort is huge and if just follow the walkway around the villas and swimming pool, you will for sure enjoy it. the food was good too. atleast for one day feel disconnected to outside world and connect yourself to your own “me” time, here at bonjour bonheur

Glad that i booked this one for my 2nd visit to pondy. The views, swimming pool & beach (it is outside the resort) were amazing. The breakfast spread was not bad. Had an extremely fun time feeding various fish in the water pools. The jacuzzi in the room was next level. Overall i found this resort much better than le pondi (i had stayed in le pondi in a room that had a private pool but still i liked ocean spray. The Bonjour Bonheur Ocean Spray staff obliged for all the additional requests we had including a late checkout by 1 hour. Will be coming back for sure

Property is very beautiful, but it is far from main city. It takes 30 minutes to reach the city, but worth visiting. Only downside is the ocean spray beach which is 400m from the property isn’t very good. Mostly fisherman are present there. Room service is good. Staff is good and helpful too. Initially there were no refrigerators in our room but as soon as we asked, they provided it. Only few things were missing like they could have kept some complimentary snacks in the room, usually in 5 stars they provide chocolate, nuts, cookies complimentary.

The place is vast and is well designed. The place is quite visible to spot while driving on ecr. The staffs are very friendly and courteous. They are very helpful and make the stay more pleasant. The only issue we faced was that in every Bonjour Bonheur Ocean Spray and many of the restaurants, food is complementary for babies. As we were travel-ling with our babies, we were charged approx rs500 for each of his meal. The breakfast menu for each day were very good.

We had a nice stay with family. The Bonjour Bonheur Ocean Spray staff is friendly and accomodative. However, the Bonjour Bonheur Ocean Spray does need some upkeep. Pros - friendly staff, value for money, good food, location is central if you have a vehicle with you for sightseeing at pondy, auroville, beach access in 400m cons - old property, cockroach/lizards, ponds have insects, one way transportation to and from chennai extremely expensive.

Hi, the stay with ocean spray was a very satisfying and relaxing one. We had a very warm welcome and stay. The food was extremely good and we were served with food of our choice specially prepared only for us which was very special. The bathtub on the balcony was icing on the cake. Our trip wouldn't be complete if we missed it. Overall it was a wonderful experience with ocean spray and thank you to makemytrip as well.

The room was good. The stay was pleasant. The decision of staying a little away from the city was to have a peaceful time, which we had a ofcourse. There are some things which can be maintained better like lift, lakes etc, the staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was food. A little bigger spread would have been nice. There was only south indian. Stuffed parathas would have an interesting addition.

It's a best place to spend time with family and friends. This property have very good rooms with private jacuzzi which is neat and clean. Swimming pool with best water quality, one of the best and big swimming pool. Food taste and quality is very good.

The stay was fabulous, the service was great, beautiful lake view resort and our room had a jacuzzi. The staff was courteous. Would highly recommend.
