Buddha Retreat

I have travel-led with my family of 7 people and travel-ling with so many people is always challenging as different people has different requirement. But let me tell you buddha retreat was able to deliver all the requirements and deliver beyond our expectation. Post covid it's very difficult to find out a well maintained Buddha Retreat in a tourist places. But i was amused to see that buddha retreat was surprisingly very neat and cleaned also very well maintained. Starting with common area to rooms and bathrooms all are clean like your own house. Even there wasn't any water mark in bathroom mirror. Hotel restaurant is so good that you don't need to eat outside and foods what we have had are very tasty and healthy. Best part is chef will come to you and ask for feedback after almost every meal. Service by Buddha Retreat staff is top notch. Very prompt and polite service. They made us feel like home. At last i think i should mention few names who made this place so magical and made us feel like home are subrata paul, pampa pal & joy goswami from buddha retreat management team. The two nights stay at Buddha Retreat in Ravangla was high point of our Sikkim trip with family. Very spacious room with very cooperative Buddha Retreat staff. Rooms were clean and good lighting. Food was good including breakfast, though the spread was not very great. Despite severe weather, Buddha Retreat staff was very prompt in service and took good care of us. Payment through credit cards at the Buddha Retreat should be looked into with better redundancy. Overall a good and memorable stay.
Room heater did not work due to power supply issues on the first day but the Buddha Retreat gave additional blanket. Extra bed was placed with mattress on ground, very unclassy. They had no portable cot. Food was good. Room service was nice. Manager was not very customer friendly credit card did not work while making payment and he was not helpful to solve the issue.

Located quite close to the market and very near to Buddha Park, this Buddha Retreat is ultimate luxury. Rooms are huge and spotlessly clean and so are the toilets very well maintained. The reception gave a warm welcome and the check in was prompt. The star of this place was the chef of this Buddha Retreat. The dishes cooked by him were out of this world. We had to leave this Buddha Retreat at 6 am and chef packed us breakfast consisting of Aloo Parathas, Veg. Sandwich, an Apple, Fruit juice etc which was a very kind gesture on his part. If you are visiting Rabongala, just book this Buddha Retreat without regret. Really an outstanding Buddha Retreat which I strongly recommend to one and all.

May pick Buddha Retreat as your first choice destination to have a cozy stay. With excellent service and close attention to guests is the most desirous thing you could get here. Food is moderately ok, breakfast is exhaustive and tasty. Better keep buffet breakfast including in your stay package. Since Ravangla is a different and very special place to visit in the this beautiful land of incredible Sikkim, the lousy and laziness of beauty must be cherished at such a soothing location.

Just at 10 minutes of walking distance from the Buddha Retreat, you come across The Buddha Park, which is truly a place for relaxation. You can get cabs from there for local sight seeing. In the morning, you just pull aside the window curtains of your room and you are greeted with the mesmerizing view of a chain of mountains and hills amidst floating clouds. Rooms are neat and. clean. Staffs are humble. I would greatly recommend this Buddha Retreat.

Room was excellent, morning breakfast was good. Cleanliness were properly maintained... Staff were amicable and well behaved. Facilities were excellent only one thing is that there were no Wi-Fi access in the Buddha Retreat... I should be done as most of the Mobile towers were not working dye to the high altitude. Overall great experience and awesome feeling in being there. I just fall in love with room number 29 in buddha retreat. :)

This Buddha Retreat is best in all criteria be it cleanliness, location with respect to Buddha Park, room amenities, food, maintenance, room size etc. But something that makes it special is the cordial behavior of its staff and their willingness to serve you with the best they can. Only downside is a house built just opposite the Buddha Retreat which obstructs the view a little but everything else will certainly win your heart here.

Room and washroom were spacious. Service was good. The Buddha Retreat is running with very few staff. The restaurant manager himself served us dinner in the in-house restaurant. Food quality was ok ( not very good. After we complained about the quantity of food served per plate at the dinner, next day they provide sufficient amount. Location is not far from the main attraction of the place, the buddha park (tathagata tsal.

Location is very good, had good view from the Buddha Retreat room, Budhha Park can be reached by 10 mins walk. Staff were too good, very much polite and helpful. The Buddha Retreat property is new .. Clean .. But the only thing is that food was tòo costly. Overall had a great stay.

The Buddha Retreat is very well maintained but we faced problems as there was no hot water supply

Rooms are spacious with nice big windows. Spring mattresses are a little uncomfortable, but still good. Bathroom is very clean with good shower. Food was great and staff were friendly and professional. Location is walk-able to the Buddha Park. Good car parking in front. Would stay again- Worth the price.

Property and location was good but food is pathetic. Don't order food in side Buddha Retreat, it may be better to eat from outside.

Room had no balcony and if one sees through window one will see nothing outside. As the outside view is totally blocked. It resulted in suffocating ambience.

This is 3rd time i am visiting ravangla only because of this Buddha Retreat. I have visited all over india for family tour. Compared to the other Buddha Retreats this is best for homely atmosphere. Specially sudip pal and his wife( probably manager) treats us as a family. Food were also delicious. Loved the location & cleanness & comfort.

Very nice and cozy place all staffs are very polite and exceptionally well behaved food was extraordinary we loved our stay for one night here
