BUDGIES COTTAGE

I had booked the AC Cottage for which I had paid the amount aswell, but rather the booking went on for Non ac Mud cottage which is only half the amount of what I paid

Rooms and Aminities are not on par, Example Kettle available in room but in usable condition

we have stayed in budgies cottage from 11 oct tob12 oct 2024. Neat and clean room with a big bath room, however cleanliness of the bathroom is not upto the mark. An exhaust fan is missing in the bathroom and no dressing mirror available in the bedroom. Breakfast was good but with limited options.Bottled water alongwith tea bags and kettle provided. Only 5 minute walk to thattekkad bird sanctuary. Nearest town is at a distance of 4 km. A kids swimming pool available in the property, however cleaning started by 8.30 am and took around 3 hrs to finish . so no option to use the same before check out. Overall experince is good.

Nice place to stay next to Thattekad bird sanctuary. nice serene location. rooms were clean and bathroom was spacious. The restaurant provided good food at budget price.

The property is very near to thattekad bird sanctuary and good place to stay for those who are visiting the bird sanctuary

It was a worst stay ever in my life…. A.C is not working bed is not comfortable room is not clean some cockroaches are there. Room is smelly . Will not recommend to anyone

Booked Mud house and they provided delux ac cottage and they informed it will be adjusted on final bill, and they not provided any discounts for the same

We were thoroughly disappointed at budgies cottage and i will tell you why. Let me tell you that the food and hospitality were amazing. The room was a disaster. We didn't get a cottage which we booked because the place was overbooked. We got a bigger room which was called an upgrade and had unhygienic toilet spaces and an issue with ac. Somehow survived the night with a toddler. The birds are just kept in average cleanliness and there is a pool, where if you dare step in, you are sure to risk your good health. Go here only if you want good food and don't mind average cleanliness. The manager was really nice and suggested a few places to visit. But, poor experience, overall!

Excellent location of property is its biggest asset. The general ambience is good but can be tough for elderly as the rooms are upslope. Food is very basic and was repetitive and food service starts pretty late. No option for packed break

The stay was denied evwn though i had a booking.

The rooms are too small. Ambience is good. Food is above average.

I booked the property budges cottage for my wife and 2 other ladies on 30th december 2021. To my horror the property owner said he has not received any booking info from make my trip when the ladies reached the property. And he offered a ordinary room but returned the extra amount on check out. I booked the deluxe villa and was offered a ordinary room. Request everyone to be extra careful while dealing with this property. To my astonishment make my trip also didn't help me when i called up to make a formal complaint. Overall a very bad experience from make my trip as well as the property budgies cottages,

Excellent place to spend a day or two. Right next to thattekad bird sanctuary surrounded by greenery and sounds of birds. The host were excellent and hospitality was amazing.

Nice food, nice ambience good staff& minimum bill

Great place to enjoy holidays.
