The location is truly impressive, situated on the banks of the betwa river, and the river is easily accessible by a short walk, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the surroundings. However, while the riverside location is perfect for relaxation, it poses a bit of an inconvenience for those who wish to visit orchha’s historical monuments, which are about 2 km away and not accessible by foot. Having your own transportation would be ideal to explore these attractions with ease. One area for improvement would be room allocation. Even though we arrived early, we were given a cottage without a direct river view. It would be more considerate if the reception allocated river-facing rooms on a first-come, first-served basis, to enhance the experience for guests arriving early who may expect a direct view of the river. And we booked room as a couple but we were not allotted double bed configuration but they provided two single beds joined together. The rooms themselves are well-kept, but the room service could use improvement. During my stay in a riverside cottage, i had to call the reception multiple times to replace a faulty electric kettle, and it was only resolved when i went to the reception myself and waited for 15 minutes. Additionally, the distance from the riverside cottages to the reception is considerable, making it less convenient for guests when issues arise. The Bundelkhand Riverside charges a premium price, but they should consider increasing the staff to better meet guest demands, especially in riverside cottages, where attention to service is essential. The pool’s location also compromises privacy, as it’s exposed to views even from outside visitors. Moreover, a large number of outside visitors due to wedding events affected the peaceful environment we had hoped for, which was disappointing. Overall, the Bundelkhand Riverside offers a beautiful and unique stay with excellent surroundings and ambiance, though it would benefit from improved room service, a fairer room allocation system, and more attention to privacy. For those planning to stay in the riverside cottages, i’d recommend confirming details about any events during your visit to ensure a peaceful stay.

Great property, we stayed in poolside and river side also. The river is calming and you can walk till the river. It's a an old style palace Bundelkhand Riverside, the staff is warm and welcoming except for front office staff who i think get a salary cut if they smile and talk to a guest. They have a decent breakfast and scrumptious food. Also have live bundelkhand music performances. The Bundelkhand Riverside is easy to locate and gps would show you the right direction ram mandir and first are just about a kilometre away and so is boating and rafting on the river. Over all a good experience and would love to come back again.

Resort is overall nice, have big rooms and service is also, food is ok, it's best part is river view and gardens well maintained. Staff is helpful. Also parking and location is very good. Get amenities for playing multiple games also. Live traditional music at night. Overall good feel. Just don't think it like five star but just an heritage Bundelkhand Riverside with good views. It's a place to spend time, affordable in comparison with other resorts.

The location of the property is very good and distant from the hustle and bustle of the town at the same time It is very convenient to explore Orcha. The property is situated on the banks of river betwa. One can sit there and enjoy the river. It's so calming and mesmerising. The staff of the property is also very helpful. The rooms are very spacious, rustic and comfortable having all amenities.

The property has the best location, right on the banks of river betwa, so most preferred are river view rooms. The rooms are very well kept and the breakfast spread is quite good! the only downside is the responsiveness of the staff is a little slow. That may be due to the sleepy nature of the town as a whole and not the property in particular. Loved every bit of our stay. 5

Facility is very good having old palace like feel. Cottages are river facing and have excellent view. Cottages are away from the main block. Walkway needs to be improved as it is uneven and not lit. Food was good but not excellent. Service was efficient. Room furniture needs to be rearranged for guest convenience
