Bundelkhand Riverside

Starting with the location, the location is just perfect. It is located just beside Betwa River and gives a serene atmosphere throughout the stay. Then comes the Bundelkhand Riverside staff, who is very polite and soft-spoken. They were generous and took every issues seriously. What didn't work for me was the room, particularly the cottage ( considering just mine), it had 3 single bed where 2 single bed was attached temporarily to make it a double bed and 1 separate single bed. I don't understand why! Then consider the amount of money I gave for just one day, the room amenities, the toiletries was not upto the mark, the shower was not working properly and neither was the geyser. Then the breakfast was actually very basic ( again not going with the lavishness of the resort and the money). The breakfast was very basic and not so very tasty.

This was my second visit to the place in 2 months. 1st one was with my riding group where we had a good time. This one was a first for my wife and her parents. We had 2 rooms booked - riverside cottage, and riverside room. We were welcomed with beverages, and told both rooms are ready. On heading to the cottage, we found our room to be in-progress of cleaning, and there were railings being installed. The staff offered another cottage but it was smaller. Since there were to be 3 in the cottage, room originally offered had a double+single bed. It took an hour for the room to be ready. Not a good experience when originally we were told it is ready. Other than this, good food in the restaurant or in the room. Polite staff. Would still visit again, and stay at the same place.

The parameters to like a resort are its location, vicinity to must see places around, food and its service. We were a group of 17 family members with a mix of senior citizens and kids and all of them had a wonderful stay. It has a very easy connect to the river where you can spend some peaceful time, it's so close you can take a bath and come back to your room waking 2 minutes. The food could have been a little better though but the staff was simply superb, courteous, attentive and always carried a very humble and caring smile. Special mention to Malkhan and Aamir for making our stay worthy. We would all want to come back again sometime.

Beautiful property and awesome location, everything was great but the quality of food was not at all complimenting the Bundelkhand Riverside. After tasting appetizer we left and had dinner out the Bundelkhand Riverside. Ordered chilli chicken and fish, how hard can it be for making chilli chicken but it's the worst we had tasted in our life even a roadside guy would make better one. Fish was raw just mixed with masala and served. We stayed for 2 days at the property but went out for all our meals. You guys really need to pay attention to your F&B side otherwise a good property is gone.

this property is located next to river Betwa one of the biggest rivers in the state of Madhya Pradesh In city Orcha which has a very rich history of bundela Dynasty the Bundelkhand Riverside itself gives you the proper historical vibe with old artifacts and it's royal look the view from river side deluxe room is breath taking as well as you can get up close with the river and it's bank just by trekking a few metres. restaurant and it's services are upto the mark as we'll as room services are top notch.

The location of this property is really nice, right next to the river. But in current times the kind of hygiene that is expected is far from reach of this Bundelkhand Riverside. No rules for pool, people are jumping like monkeys with their full clothes and shouting all around. Food is really bad without any taste and with very limited variety in buffet breakfast. Over all if you just want to enjoy the location go for this property. Also go for river front rooms, these big spacious rooms.

Splendid! we are absolutely delighted to find out such an awesome resort in the mid of nature, the extraordinary natural beauty of betwa rever, and the green meadows at the otherside made us very glad and deeply absorbed in the nature. The professional, humble hospitality, the ambience, the well decorated rooms, most importantly extraordinary and quality food further added values to our stay. I strongly recommend my friends to visit this place and have the great experience.

Apart from the stay, room service was not very professional. Many things ordered were being refused due to non availability. Even during breakfast food was not properly served. You order, they would source then. Therefore the overall experience of dine in was not good. Imagine a drink to be served with breakfast was offered during checkout at the reception counter. Such a nice property but management is just so so. Reason being given was low occupancy.

The Bundelkhand Riverside's location is great. The property is spread over an area of 48 acres of land next to the river with a nice wooded area dotted with small monuments. The property is built in a heritage style. Everything was good except i felt that their housekeeping is weak. If housekeeping staffs are pulled up and focus a little more on cleanliness then it certainly is one of the best properties in orchha.

Hotel was extremely neat and clean and staff was amazing. The river is just a walk away. Highly recommend.

Nice Bundelkhand Riverside with great location and beautiful designs. The rooms aren’t that good compared to the pictures. The bathrooms washbasin was leaking or the drains were choked hence resulting in dirty water filled in the bathroom. Overall it was average.

Nice location beside river and very good approach from Bundelkhand Riverside. Neat and clean with nice rooms and well thought out facilities and furniture in room. Tv is small.

A superb property with a lot of peace in it. Staff is very courteous and humble. Services are also very prompt. Though it took some time to find the property but it is naturally beautiful.

The resort has really good ambience, rooms are of good size and the view of the bewat river flowing in the backside of the property is breathtaking. But the service is average, i expected better, they gave me a wrong room(smaller size as compared to what i had paid for) i had to show them picture and discuss a lot to get my room changed.

The heritage Bundelkhand Riverside has a great vibe to it. It is nicely maintained and the staff is cordial. The location is perfect with the Betwa River flowing right beside the rooms. However, the food is not good at all. The prices are very high and there are no alternate options since the place is located far from Orccha Town. We had tastier food at half the price in Orccha.

Nice Bundelkhand Riverside with great views of the river. Food a bit on the expensive side. The place is also rented out for marriages .

A fabulous stay with a vintage feeling on the banks of river betwa great location with awesome views inside and around the property. Really tasty food with a vast variety in menu. All the rooms are spacious with complete hygiene and cozy feeling. The staff is very polite and supporting. You can enjoy activities and spa also. Great for family and couples.

Location is nearby the places to visit. Food was good. Cleanliness was not maintained. Very dry and arid region with dust all over the place. Staff was polite and helpful. Swimming pool was also clean. Garden was not fully maintained but it had many plants.

Location was extremely beautiful. You don't need to go anywhere to hang out because the Bundelkhand Riverside itself is very beautiful. Staff is very friendly and service is super fast.
