This homestay Cafe Shillong Bed and Breakfast | Room & Caretaker is within a big residential house with large rooms to live in. It s in vicinity of secretariat buildings and located within a narrow lane leading to police bazar. The approach is from a the narrow lane and as we enter the property we have to climb very steep slope upside which requires a very thorough driver knowing the place and locality very well. Otherwise for new comers knowing driving are sure to be failures because its not only steep but has a left turn immediately on entering the gate and up and above suddenly. The rooms are quite big and well equipped with gazettes like electric kettle, geyser, tv intercom and a conventional room heater. Its a very clean and comfortable place for families. The linens are cleaned everyday and the bathroom is very clean and has ample sunlight. The taps and wash basin hoses are well in order and no leakages and stinking odours of toilet. The only disadvantage is that it doesn't have bedside mobile charging points and are near the tv which is uncomfortable to reach being tired after days travel and fatigue. Also the electric supply points are very limited and 2-3 multipin plugs are put together to operate bed side lights and is therefore short of available ports for charging and that too far off. The extension wires are of too small which get off with slightest touch and one gets tired of either charging the cellphones or operating other gazettes. The dining hall is quite big and well ventilated and decorated with beautiful teak chairs and clean tables. The windows have clean white embroidered curtains adding to the beauty of the dining hall. The staff is very courteous, polite and very attentive and helpful who serve break fast. It is varying daily with poha, cornflakes, toasts, juice and tea/coffee but is very refreshing and delicious. Puri subji is another variant alongwith, up-ma depending upon the sequence planned. The Cafe Shillong Bed and Breakfast | Room & Caretaker being away from the main bazar services such as swiggy/zomato are useful and handy to order night meals. The Cafe Shillong Bed and Breakfast | Room & Caretaker doesnt serve meals but the staff help fully for placing orders and receiving them. We had ordered dominos pizza and it was delivered within 20 minutes. However due to cold weather it was quite cold to enjoy. The staff helps to warm/heat contents of meals on request.

The Cafe Shillong Bed and Breakfast | Room & Caretaker is located on a hilly elevation in lachumiere, shillong near the cathedral. We (me, my wife and our 4 year old kid) reached at around 7 pm. The elevation was difficult for our car with automatic transmission, i had to take it up in reverse gear after unloading the other two persons from the car. This was the only hitch in our entire stay. We stayed in a city view room at top floor. The striking point for the Cafe Shillong Bed and Breakfast | Room & Caretaker is its cleaniless. The entire campus starting from the entrance, the lobby, lawn, staircases, rooms are all very clean. They are neatly kept with discipline and order. The wooden framework of the stairs and room is astonishing and glazy. The ambience is sober and smooth. Safety and security are top class. One point to note is that if you want to have dinner in the Cafe Shillong Bed and Breakfast | Room & Caretaker, you need to order from food delivery apps like swiggy or zomato. The order needs to be placed latest by 8 pm. The Cafe Shillong Bed and Breakfast | Room & Caretaker provided cutlery and dleivers the food from the delivery boy to the Cafe Shillong Bed and Breakfast | Room & Caretaker room. Breakfast included few items but each of them was delicious and well cooked. Breakfast time is 8 to 10 am. The poha was very close to the original mumbai poha in taste and serving. Rooms are beautiful. City view room at the top floors offer great view, sunlight and breeze. Hotel staff are very polite and courteous. Services are prompt. A beautiful stay indeed.

It took some time for me to find the place as there are no sign boards on the way, except one very small signboard on the entrance. I only had breakfast, which was good. I ordered pizza on both days from Domino. Wifi facility was not working on both days of my stay. There was a room heating machine in the room but it takes time for room to warm up. Size of room given to me was very small but the good thing was there was a meeting hall just outside my room. I got a room, the new building which has more privacy. Over all I felt price is high. There is no one to guide guests for travel bookings or sightseeing.

Had two nights of stay during family tour to shillong. Property good for traveller family who like to enjoy a calm holiday. But may not be a right choice if some one would like hectic schedule. They would rather seek more facilitated Cafe Shillong Bed and Breakfast | Room & Caretaker like services like early and good break fast, good dining facility, easy approach to city center, room service, etc. As for the room etc, they are excellent. The breakfast menu is limited to bread and egg, with puri etc. Looking at the price, that would definitely seem too high.

The Cafe Shillong Bed and Breakfast | Room & Caretaker is situated in a very nice area uphill, inclined area. The rooms were fantastic and amazing. The only problem was that the staff were non-cooperative and they don't have their in Cafe Shillong Bed and Breakfast | Room & Caretaker restaurant. So food needs to be ordered from outside. Getting bengali food is a bit difficult. Within five minutes downhill you have paul Cafe Shillong Bed and Breakfast | Room & Caretaker and you need to walk or take taxi to Polo bazar or Police Bazar for bengali food.

Cafe shillong b&b is an extremely beautiful property with rooms, bathrooms and amenities of 4 star category. The Cafe Shillong Bed and Breakfast | Room & Caretaker is situated about 2kms away from police bazar area but still away from all the hustle & bustle and provides you a quiet, peaceful stay. It is very neat & clean and well decorated. Breakfast was decent. We were traveling with a kid and they made all arrangements as per his need. The property itself provides you perfect opportunity to click all your instagramable snaps )

The Cafe Shillong Bed and Breakfast | Room & Caretaker has 5-7 different rooms. It should be mentioned at the time of booking, which room will you get. I reached late in the night and the room given was very small. This was the only concern as this made my stay uncomfortable. Complimentary breakfast was good. Lunch which they provide on order from outside was very costly. Service was nice and the staff were cooperative. Overall everything was good.

Staff are very polite and positive. Room service is very good. Nice location to stay. Rooms are well maintained. But rooms are small. You need to go for a bigger room when you are visiting with family. Surrounding of the room is well maintained with garden. Aesthetics of the Cafe Shillong Bed and Breakfast | Room & Caretaker is good. You may order lunch/dinner through Swiggy atleast one hour before your requirement.

We stayed at this place for 6 days. An amazing place for staying in shillong. It's a home stay with an excellent location. The main market is about 1. 5 km but can be easily reached. The staff behaviour is example to all the hosts in business. Very calm and friendly service.

I stayed at this property on 15/11/19 with my family. I reached their at 8 pm, directly from Dawki. It's easy to find the location on Google map. I booked a luxury room which was excellent. Breakfast was complimentary & it's delicious. Only problem was there's no restaurant attached to it. We took our dinner at Cafe Shillong Restaurant which is only 1 km away. Overall, I'm very much satisfied.

The property is located at a walkable distance from the hub -Police Bazar. This ensures that the surrounding is not very noisy. There are many cafés at a walkable distance. Room privacy was not there because windows and doors were not properly separated

Very good and spacious rooms a total value for money. The only problem is that there is no a availability of food but u can still order on zomato and swiggy.

Excellent room, great breakfast

The property is good but the location is far from the police bazaar which is the main shillong market. Thus to get regular cab and other amenities it is a bit difficult. There is also no option of dinner which makes swiggy the only option at night.

We stayed for just one night but the location is between the City And was easy to roam Around. Facilities inside was good And Breakfast was really good

It has been an amazing experience. We went with our kids and the ambience added to our experience. It had clean room very well maintained campuses along with very humble and courteous staff.
