Gorgeous is one word to describe this property ! breath taking views of the waterfall from their viewpoint, huge suites, very clean and well planned and the entire resort is filled with greenery and indescribable beauty. Breakfast spread was great and staff service is quick and front office staff is very customer friendly. Room service food taste is average and there are no good restaurants around so please work on improving the restaurant food taste and quality. The suites are just perfect ! huge rooms at reasonable price and maintained very well. Best of all, the waterfalls are a stone throw away and can be seen from the resort view point. You can venture in to the flowing river from the resort gate and enjoy natures beauty. The resort is very dim lit which is a big turn off, so may be more lights please. Pavements are not elder friendly and smooth so some interlocking tiles laying would help overall a 8 on 10 and must visit !

The casa rio resort in athirappilly is an excellent place for a weekend getaway, with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are well-maintained, with a bedroom, living room (both air-conditioned, and two bathrooms. The pool is not large, but sufficient for swimming, and the kids' pool has a safe depth. The food is on the pricier side, but the quality and quantity make it worth it, with most dishes serving two. The resort's md was interested in guest feedback and personally reached out to us to solicit suggestions. The resort was popular with families with young children, and our 3 and 5-year-old boys had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this resort for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

First of all thank you to the Casa Rio Resort Team. Beautiful resort with clean rooms . Good hospitality . Very nice garden lawnes and lots of trees . During the evening swarm of birds coming back to their homes in the bamboo tree area is a treat for your eyes . With statues of elephant which looks almost real, a couple in heart frame. Marble swing. Pool . Then what not it's near the chalakudy river. Good place for family to relax and have fun .

With Athirapalli Falls of 'Bahubali' fame as a backdrop the setting is picturesque and the property itself lends further to the ambience. Staff is courteous. The individually arranged villa type rooms and the garden setting is peaceful and serene. Riverside location with facility of river bathing is a plus point. Ample parking, good food and an opportunity for lots of activity are further bonus points. A great experience to say the least.

Pros: stay was good. Staff were cordial and the property has a lot of area for kids to play. The view from the pool side is amazing. Food was also tasty. Spacious rooms with a huge bedroom, 2 bathrooms and a separate living room. Cons: property lacks maintanance. Some of the wall putty were fading out. Bathroom fittings were confusing. The cushions were smelly. If you are looking for a relaxing budget stay, casa rio is a good choice.

Beautiful place, very helpful staff, great large rooms. The food at the restaurant was very good and not expensive. Located near enough to the Waterfall (20 min walking). You can access to the river to watch sunset, scenery is amazing. We had an early flight the day after at Kochi airport - they helped us and gave us a full breakfast packed at 4 am, very convenient! Thanks again.

Staff is quite courteous, well groomed. Facilities for badminton chess basketball swimming available. Quite green with a lot of birds n butterflies Around. Rooms are clean, well maintained. Food is also quite delicious. Breakfast is good. Location next to River is its USP. Hotel staff easily arrange for you travel to and fro for Athirapally Falls and other places.

We were there as a large group and had picked this place. Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, good food and great location. The river is right besides the property and you get a lovely view of the falls too. The staff is friendly and helpful at all times. The food is excellent as well. Definitely a place for large or small groups. I'd definitely go there again.

We had a beautiful time staying at this Resort. It's a beautiful property. The staff is good, courteous and helpful. Breakfast is well laid out and the food quality is good and tasty. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants top notch service and a memorable stay. The rooms are big and clean.

We had stayed for one night, ambience and the location is wonderful if travelling in a small group would be more enjoyable as lot of activities in the resort, generally people go see the waterfalls and come back suggest one night stay us worth it.
