No hot water. No food. No response. Rude behaviour. Wrist stay. No maintenance. They charged camp fire also. Really very bad experience. No complimentary breakfast. Really very irritating

Cavern wayanad is a nice place to stay. Set practically in the middle of nowhere, the road is terrible and a car with high ground clearance is recommended. However this is par for the course for any remote resort so no complaints there. The cave rooms are great; lovely ambience. The food is good enough and the service is good too. The pool is available and even campfire is provided on request.

Pros: 1. Budget cons: 1. Kitchen/kitchenette was not available for guests. 2. Rooms were not clean. There were spiderwebs and insects all around the rooms and washrooms. 3. Noticed (poosibly blood) stains on the comforter. Was not provided replacement despite asking for the same multiple times. 4. Swimming pool was very dirty. Water looked almost brown. 5. No security. During our stay, we found that no staffs were present at times with the entrance gates completely open. I guess the security of the place was lefty with guests. 6. No paved roads to reach the property. The road was narrow, very uneven and quite steep at a few places. Our car got stuck a few times. Thankfully we did not get to face rain on any occasion. Can't imaging how much worse it could have been.

I travel-led with my family to spend 2 days to enjoy and explore. Overall experience was bit disappointing. If you are travel-ling without a off road vehicle, be careful with the properties private road. When i checked in they gave the room without tv, no hot water, untidy bed sheet and pillows. Resort was no maintained well pool is untidy and unhygienic, kids park with full of grass. No amenities are available to use. After i called the customer service agent and then some of the issues got resolved. Regarding the hot water the resort caretaker said that they are using solar water heater so we need to wait until noon) also there is no live restaurant available if we ordered any food we need to wait for 40min( for that we need to give auto change and tips extra) please use up i payment otherwise they won’t give proper change.

Staff behaviour is good. But the facilities are not up to mark. Pool not working. Lights in common areas not working. Not satisfied as expected. Food is average. Location is remote

The main problem was not being a remote location but the road to reach the hotel wasn't a tar road and unless you have an suv, the car bottom can expect some hits and scratches, and when we arrived the room was not cleaned (for months i suppose)we had to ask them to get our sheets new pillows and blankets, the heaters and ac in the room were not working basically they never prepared for a guest in the room. They said there would be wifi but the wifi was only available in the kitchen area. Overall a terrible experience.

No respect for the declared schedule for food. Foul smell around rooms from drainage. No facility for hot water. Frequent power outage.

The place is i side a small forest and as a result its a bit isolated and far from the city centre. The staff was real polite and humble. He was very helpful since scratch, since the moemnt we make the reservation hes been following up on our trip and making sure we were properly guided till we arrived at the property. The one negative part about the stay was the cleanliness of the bed-sheets and the bathroom towel. Apart from that its a beautiful place to spent a night in.

I felt very very close to nature while staying at this Resort. Loved the ambiance and location friendly staffs especially Mr. Biju. Suitable for couples as well as group travellers.

Excellent stay. Speciality is cave rooms, food really good, we feel the Resort is same like our home, the hospitality is excellent, we really had a wonderful night with campfire and music. We booked a cave room, and the experience was amazing. The service was excellent, staff was very friendly and cooperative. Very appreciative hospitality. The pool wasn't that great, but other than that all good. I am giving a 5 star for the experience of cave and the hospitality. Reaching the destination might get a bit confusing with the Google map location shared on MMT but overall, great experience! I would recommend for a night stay and experience modernized cave living.
