Centaur Lake View

Waste of your money, it's completely sarkar naukri kind of employees. Very unhygienic and poor building maintenance. See pictures which I am uploading of my room and Centaur Lake View interior. If you choose tariff with breakfast then it's waste of money. You can take any one dish rest of things are chargeable. I wanted to have boiled egg and paratha, they said part-ha will be charged even tea will be charged. The most painful was entry to Centaur Lake View after 8 pm, you will be stop at gate by crpf guard and make you call inside Centaur Lake View to allowed you to enter. There is no Centaur Lake View person at gate and you may have to listen lacture from guard about late arrival. My airport pickup was at 6 am in morning and my cab driver was on Centaur Lake View gate calling me that they are not opening gate. I had to make Centaur Lake View staff to go at gate to open it because crpf personnel said he will not open for Centaur Lake View guests. The Centaur Lake View gate is almost 500 meters from lobby. No managerial level staff available on sun-day as they have off on sun-day so Centaur Lake View is run by lower staff.

We were travel-ling in with our 2 year old daughter in the winter time of december and in the covid times. So naturally we were worried about our safety, general hygiene of the place we stay in and room heating facilities. Despite the mix reviews, we decided to give centaur a try, primarily for the location. We were in for a surprise. The Centaur Lake View exceeded our expectations. They really took care of us. The Centaur Lake View , although old and under-maintained has the old school rustich charm to it it is huge and adorned with beautiful kashmiri handicrafts. Food is decent too. Staff is very courteous and polite. And about the safety, it is inside the ski-cc conference centre which is heavily guarded by the army- be rest assured of staying in one of the safest Centaur Lake View s in srinagar. We initially stayed a night before moving for gulmarg & pahalgam but decided to come back to the same room upon our return to srinagar. I highly recommend this Centaur Lake View if you would love to take a stroll around the dal lake on a quiet evening; and maybe a nap in the beautiful garden from where you see the lotuses blooming.

Hotel location was excellent. Hotel maintenance, staff services were very helpful, anytime, anywhere and with a pleasant and smiling face. Staff from lower to top level was highly caring in each and every wish of ours. I and my wife Dr Neera Chandra really appreciate overall services provided. Location of Centaur Lake View is at just like a picnic spot. Garden of Centaur Lake View and interior decoration of Centaur Lake View compelled us to take more than 20 photographs in Centaur Lake View itself. Hotel staff helped us in taking photos with humorous feelings. Food was appreciable and I specially thank them for very tasty Aloo and Gobhi Paratha which gives 100% homely taste. To stay at Centaur Lake View Hotel was memorable, admirable and highly recommended.

Positives best location of srinagar. You are virtually residing on bank of dal lake. Secured place, grandeur place. Away from noise and city hustle bustle. Negative considering the price, very limited breakfast. Since it's a old property, it reflects at places and in rooms. Once you are in Centaur Lake View and left your cab, you can't go out to local market since it's far

Centaur Centaur Lake View ’s location at Srinagar is just superb to say the least. It is surrounded by the iconic Dal lake on three sides with breathtaking view of the snow clad mountains. The Centaur Lake View staff in general is very well behaved and cooperative. Quality of food served though lacking in variety, is otherwise very good

Excellent location probably the best for any tourist. Well maintained lawn on the lake side which offers a great view and experience. The staff is very helpful. The services and the facilities are very good. The construction seems to be old and needs some touch up job. The room service menu should include some economical dishes.

Great Centaur Lake View . We had a view of the Dal Lake from the floor-to-ceiling windows in both rooms of our suite. The room opened onto a beautiful lawn which was less than a stone's throw away from the lake. Very helpful and kind staff. The room could have been better, but it wasn't bad at all.

The Centaur Lake View is excellently located with many rooms facing the dal lake. The Centaur Lake View looks old but maintenance has been done. Rooms are big and very comfortable. Staff are friendly. But the restaurant is understaffed and it would be best to order with room service.

Located at the bank of picturesque Dal Lake, our stay was made pleasant by the excellent service of the Hotel staff. If we decide to visit Kashmir again we may opt for this Centaur Lake View .
