Central Hill Resort (Near MG Marg)

Poor hotel I stayed. Dirty bed sheet, dirty bed. Lots of cockroaches were there on bed. Staff's behavior was good, but what about the owner who is only earning money? But no renovation, no cleaning. Poor hotel I ever seen.

The Star Continental and Spa Hotel was extremely disappointing. The rooms were poorly maintained, with dirty linens and a constant damp smell that made the stay uncomfortable. Basic amenities like hot water and Wi-Fi hardly worked, and the staff seemed uninterested in resolving any issues. The so-called “spa” was shabby and definitely not worth the extra charge. Housekeeping was irregular, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was far below expectations. For the price they charge, the service and quality are unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

The stay was very disappointing. The elevator was not working, the washroom was in poor condition with water supply issues, and there was no power backup — I spent a whole night without electricity. Staff behavior was impolite and unprofessional. TV service was unavailable due to no recharge, and the complimentary water provided was refilled RO water instead of sealed mineral bottles. Overall, the service quality was poor for the price paid.

Life was not working, they did not have a generator, did not provide a towel, Wi-Fi was not working properly, TV was just for show, looked like a ghost bungalow.

The hotel lacks good food, room service. No means to connect with the reception and restaurant. Broken bed, malfunctioning fan, unclean bathroom.

Extremely hard bed. The flush was working rarely as it was underground toilet, this took very long to flush again. The towel were dirty. No kettle was provided in the month on October in Gangtok. The bed had mild mold stains. We took a super delux room. The checkout time was at 11 am but we got a little late and checked out at 12 o clock. But the staff of the hotel cut of the electricity of the room as soon as it was 11. There were electricity everywhere else except our room.

Property location is excellent at National Highway Road Food services is available and outside option available Amenities is is average needed to improve a lot and services also need improve a lot overall I Rate this property 3.5/5 just average good stay

the service was very poor moreover the hotel rooms were exceptionally old with a pungent unpleasant odour key facilities like changing of bedsheets was not done by the staff and same bedsheets were applied through out our stay, won't comeback here for sure.

I have booked room with balcony but they didn't provide room with balcony provision and we wait almost 1 hours for room..room is not ready till check in time. And also room service is terrible

Had a wonderful stay . The staff were really helpful and attentive . Room was clean and well kept with good view

I booked 2 super deluxe with breakfast. The stay was satisfactory. This hotel building has terrace filled with plants which give garden feel at top, also it has multiple dining table and chair to stay and have a coffee breaks. Everyone's behave and nature is good with manner and discipline. It's a country side stay and it is on the main spot of MG Mall Road so travelling was easy. Found no problem. Breakfast quality, quantity and taste was very good. Normal drinking water, Tea packets were provided in the morning at the time of cleaning or on reception call also. Minor things were observed in one of the room (No. 202): Toilet paper stand broken, water flow is very less in sync tap even after full opening. At the end, I would recommend, must visit and try here.

best in budget hotel u can get in gangtok. Just a small issue of hygiene, the bedsheets were not clean enough. Otherwise, this is the best u can get in this price range in gangtok.

Pro: Room Price, Room Facility, Hotel Location (Very Close to MG Marg) Cons: Linen were torn and dirty, Occasional Powercut & Life Maintenance Issue (May vary in different days) Recommend to Hotel: Overcome the come by providing clean linen and power backup for lift atleast.

Breakfast was good, supportive staff, washroom was average, clean rooms

room is too poor switchbord not working they are given 2room which room is most darty room at total hotel.we requested to change the room but they don't change.also bed cover not washable properly.

Hotel was good and at walkable distance from MG Marg. Overall good experience.

Bathroom drainage is overflowing, No light in Bathroom, Towels need to replace as it's too old and not Hygiene. Food and Hotel Staff is ok .

Worst experience, except hotel location everything was worst, the rooms are dark and smaller than it shows. Washrooms are also not clean. Very unprofessional staffs, we asked for water but no was was willing to send it to your room, you have to get it from reception. they mentioned about power backup but when electricity went off they did not turn it on. worst experience, would not recommend it
