SwaSwara Gokarna - a CGH Earth Experience

I travel-led with my family, and the place is very beautiful, quiet and peaceful, everyone loved the ambience. We went during the monsoon therefore couldn't enjoy the beach side due to rain and high tide. The property is self sufficient for hang out in your villa and chill. We had all three meals in the resort restaurant, they serve limited menu but everything tastes home like, the chef will not say no to any requests for dishes apart from the menu. The menu contains seafood in starters as well as curry dishes in addition to vegetarian options. They do no serve hard liquor and chicken or any kind of meat. The spices used are apt and minimal which make the eating experience greater. The konkan villa is very spacious and beautiful. I have not visited such a spacious villa at any other resort, although the cost could be a little on the higher side looking at the complete set of facilities. They must provide moisturizer at least considering its a huge resort also since it's sustainable using plastic should be minimised as it appeared a little ironical.

I stayed here with my two sisters and we have the best time . Everything was so clean and perfect , no only the villas but the entire property is taken care so we’ll and with so much love . The staff were really good , communicated so well , paid attention to all our needs and made us feel like home ( special mention to Melisha ) .. I loved the concept of putting Rangoli outside the villas every evening before sunset to upload our culture. The resort had access to the om beach ,a short walk of 5-10 mins depending on where your villa is situated will lead to the beach . Within the property they do many activities like yoga , meditation , art and pottery that keeps you occupied. Food is the only thing that we had difficulty with , the food is more organic , healthy and a palate that not all will like. But their fish curries need a special mention. All in all we had one of our most memorable stay here and would love to come ♥️

Great if you are very health conscious. Their food is super bland, and low oil etc. The peanut butter has no sugar. Also great pool(chipping out though)with many yoga and cooking classes. On the flip side, sometimes the food is raw to uncooked; no option of sugar free for the diabetics, and no TV anywhere. If you want to work remotely that won't work either, 'coz there's no internet anywhere. Also the place is a little too pricey for the lack of some of the basic amenities that people expect for the price.

The stay was great. Perfect place to relax and get away from the busy city life. Has private beach access. Avoid this place if you are traveling to this place with a driver. This is the only drawback. There is nothing for the driver. Not even a washroom that they could use. My driver was forced to go to the beach and use the “pay n use” over there. It is not very convenient for one to walk to the beach for natures call. Not even water was provided to the driver

I don’t think you’ll experience anything like this anywhere else.! It was a wellness centre turned leisure resort.! Even the drink water that they have is warm cinnamon.! The food has only healthy options and no meat..! Only sea food in non veg.! The konkan villas are great and will keep you close to nature.! The swimming pool had jaccuzzi so a must try.! We also did yoga and pranayama in the morning which was really great!

It was a beautiful stay with perfect infra and ambience for relaxation. The cottages are pretty spacious and well maintained. The food and the services from the people around was very polite and humble. We loved the restaurant and food as well. Though there were limited options they were pretty good. The ayurvedic massage and the activities including yoga meditation and art was good as well.

This is resort is amazing. Located at very beautiful place inside the resort u have a way to walk to beach. Rooms are very clean and neat very spacious. Kids also have options to occupy art gallery for pot making and drawing under a supervision pools are their very neat and one of the calmest resort have been so far. Food option was very less but still what option we had got we enjoyed it

Stayed at the resort for 4 nights and had an amazing time. Very customer friendly resort staff. The massage therapist Nobel was excellent , the yoga guide Manoj was brilliant , the entire staff was very very customer focussed . The vibes of the staff members was very nice. Special thanks to Rathesh , Dr Subhash and Mini . Had a very pleasant experience. Was worth it . 😊

Great location, healthy food, friendly staff, yoga and meditation.

The location and villas are awesome with man made small pond maintained from rain water harvesting.

We were asked to wash hands at the entrance, it had peddle tap system, temperature was check, staff were wearing gloves and mask all the time.

Comfortable and luxurious stay while being close to the nature. I would like to book my stay again with this property. Had stayed there only for 2 days. This place needs at-least 4 to 5 days stay. It has a private approach to om beach which makes the location spectacular.

Felt very healthy, peaceful and comfortable here. Location os the best. Hygiene and safety standards are very good. Food is healthy but it can be better as far as taste goes. Expected excellent sambar, idli, rasam etc as it is karnataka, but they are not good.

the stay was absolutely lovely and would recommend to everyone visiting gokarna. the staff was super courteous and went out of their way to celebrate my birthday. the food was earthy and felt super healthy and close to nature. overall a lovely vacation and we are planning to visit more cgh properties in the future.

Villas are built with old native concepts but available with all modern comfort. Great view from villas and always feeling of staying with nature. Best food and very healthy. Thank you for the great service provided by the staff!

Right on om beach; very e co friendly. The food is amazing (learnt a recipe too), bird watching session was superb and the service & staff are very friendly. I’d definitely come back again : the ambience is truly healing.
