Chalo Kasol | Riverside Cottage & Tents

The place looks dreamy, very well designed and decorated. Me and my friend rented a cottage. Room and bathroom was clean. Geyser was working well. Patio had 2 chairs and table. Room heater was available for extra charges (800 per night), which we availed and worked fine. The property is right next to the Parvati river, you can walk down there within a minute. Initially the service was slow. Food was a bit pricey, taste okay, good quantity. The lunch we had (butter chicken and jeera rice) wasn’t great. However, we had Chinese for dinner (Schezwan chicken fried rice and garlic chicken gravy), and it was really good. We asked for desert in the evening and was told no desert was available on the menu. We were really surprised to hear that and asked if it could be arranged. Initially they said that the taxi fare would be charged if we opted to get. We were disappointed and complained about it. I really want to appreciate the receptionist/manager (Priyanka), who personally took care of it and provided us with hot gulab jamun. We met her the next morning and thanked. We also requested for sone extra hours’ stay in the property after checking out of the room (since our bus was at night). She happily allowed us, we spent the day there till afternoon and had lunch as well before leaving. She sent us some hot gulab jamuns again post our lunch on her own. 😊 Only thing that really bothered us was the DJ at night who was playing loud Punjabi songs all evening, and even after us requesting he didn’t change. Few drunk boys were dancing to the DJ, and making us kind of uncomfortable, so we stayed in the room. However, we were expecting more decent crowd and better choice of songs at this upscale property. Sadly, that wasn’t the case. Our entire evening was ruined because of this.

Positive points: - the property location and vibe were very nice. - the stay, particularly the mountain view hut, was quite relaxing and enjoyable. - the beauty of the place is enhanced at night. - the breakfast and food at the restaurants were tasty and of good quantity and quality. - considering the type of place, the pricing felt reasonable. - the staff members were very pleasing, helpful, and well-mannered. Areas for improvement: 1. Storage space: there was no space to hang clothes or a cupboard to keep belongings. We had to resort to using a small table inside the hut, which was originally meant for a water heater and coffee powder. 2. Pet management: while i understand the dogs are vaccinated and harmless, some guests might not be comfortable with them freely roaming around. It would be better to manage them in a way that ensures all guests feel at ease. My wife, for instance, was quite scared and uncomfortable with the presence of the pet dogs around her, even though we didn't face any issues.

'chalo kasol' is a lovely place with good camping amenities. The place is located just beside the parvati river and lush green surrounding totally breathe taking feelings. The night activities included a dj night in the open ground area was full of fun. Over all, we had a great experience, staff was so helpful, and room was wonderful, clean and peaceful for any one. Happy to have visited this place and recommend for any one.

We had a stay at chalo kasol resort , This place is worth visiting , cozy rooms , dj was really good and food quality was also good. Overall best place to stay in kasol as this resort is riverside and the location is just beautiful we enjoyed sitting in open lounge area from where the view is just mesmerizing , Thank you chalo kasol for making our stay more beautiful by giving your best services 👍🏽

It was a decent property and stay experience. Food was tasty yet little overpriced. Brekafast had less options. I guess the property owners need to be more involved and invest more in the said property. The services are above average and some of the helps have more attitude than desired. Overall it was an above average stay with scope for considerable overall improvement.

Location is just besides the Parvati river. Cottages are so nice. If you like the sound of water flowing...then do consider river side tents. They have attached baths and heated beds. Food was also nice. Bar was not available but you can enjoy hookah...You can buy your own drink from outside and have it here. DJ was also good. you can dance as well. Bonfire 🔥👍

I was very sceptical to stay in a tent when we planned for the trip. But the view was spectacular. Adding sugar to it are the staff who actually made extra efforts to fulfill our demands as it was very chilly. In one word hospitality is over the beam. A must stay if someone is looking for wilderness in midst of modern amenities

Nice property along with pravaty river. Hotel is beautiful, need to improve on services. Just to note kasol is not for family trip, same thing apply to Chalo Kasol | Riverside Cottage & Tents as well. Kasol is party place, loud music dj at Chalo Kasol | Riverside Cottage & Tents which may not be suitable for family.

Location and property is great with breathtaking views. We stayed in swiss tent so that was bit small. Rest everything was great. Service is also good.

This was the best camp and cottage style stay in kasol. Beautiful riverside location. Couple and family friendly, also good for people with pets or dog lovers. Food was good. The staff was very poilte and helpful too. Pleasant experience
