Great experience this is my 3rd stay in chariot resort . people are very kind ,excellent food worth for money

Rooms are decent however they need makeovers to fix bathroom tilings and corridor tiling. Another big issue noted was their pool had major tiling issue where lots of tile pieces were out and had a danger to hurt one. The resort have provided shoes to curb this but it’s not an actual solution considering the amount guests are charged per day

The resort is huge but old. they need to upkeep the property and maintain the same. There were no lights in swimming pool at night, the bathroom needs to be updated and the food quality can be improved

The tap water was dirty, smelly and sand was coming from the taps, the food quality was below average and also the room service order was sent wrong, overall poor stay feedback.

Stay is very pathetic . AC was not working and there is no proper room service . No specific person has been allotted for the service

very nice property and good breakfast....... pool tiles are damaged and very difficult to swim with the kids.... we didn't get idly for dinner and it was difficult having a 3yr old.....

Ambience was gud...but south indian provided in breakfast buffet was bland n not at all tasty..north indian n continental items were gud.. Coffee was really gud..

The property itself is beautiful — the hotel and rooms are well-maintained, spacious, and quite comfortable. The highlight for me was the direct beach access and the excellent breakfast spread, which really stood out. However, the service experience was disappointing. The staff were not very polite or responsive. Even after calling twice to request coffee and snacks to the room, nothing was delivered. I eventually went to the restaurant to order, and it still took nearly 50 minutes just to get two teas. The swimming pool also needs urgent maintenance — many of the tiles are broken, which makes it unsafe. Guests need to be very careful, as stepping on sharp edges could cause injuries. Overall, while the location, rooms, and breakfast are impressive, the service quality and pool maintenance let the resort down. With better staff responsiveness and upkeep, this place could truly match its potential.

I am writing to lodge a formal complaint about our stay from 27 Aug to 28 Aug. We were 3 families in 3 rooms (Booking name: Vivek Jacob Simob, Booking ID: ). What was intended to be a relaxed family break turned into the worst hotel experience we’ve had, driven by basic operational failures. What went wrong AC failure + room shuffling at 1:00 a.m. In one room, the AC failed and started leaking around 1:00 a.m. Your team moved that family to another room where the AC also didn’t work; after ~30 minutes, they were shifted yet again. This meant two disruptive moves in the middle of the night with two children. Dirty linens & wrong towels We were given unclean beach towels instead of proper white linens; several linens were visibly dirty/stained. Housekeeping below basic standards Repeated reminders were needed for simple items (coffee/tea kits, towels). Staff even questioned requests for extra bed sheets. Bathrooms in poor condition Smelly bathrooms with aged fittings, some not functioning properly. Subpar breakfast service The buffet was weak on quality and quantity; trays sat empty and required multiple reminders to be refilled. this is unacceptable. Your team failed at essential checks (HVAC readiness, linen hygiene, housekeeping responsiveness, F&B replenishment). Our sleep and stay were ruined. What we expect as resolution Full refund for one night for the room that suffered two overnight relocations, and 50% refund for the other two rooms for the service failures impacting the whole group, This is not a subjective complaint; it’s a clear service failure against the price and your stated standards. We expect prompt, professional redressal. As a makemytrip gold member I am extremely disappointed with MMT as well for recommending this resort. I lost face and am completely embarrassed for having spoilt my family vacation . Please take this complaint seriously and do the needful.

Our stay was mixed. The room was clean, though a few mosquitoes made it slightly uncomfortable. Check-in took more than 30 minutes, even after arriving at 1:15 pm for a 2:00 pm slot. From 2–4 pm our kiddo was eager to use the pool, but when we finally went, the water was green, dirty, and later we learned salty — very disappointing and unsafe. The saving grace was the beach, which was private, cozy, and perfect for kids. The restaurant staff were caring, and the dosa at breakfast was tasty though self-service. Overall, only the beach made the stay enjoyable

Luxury 5 Star & Beautiful Vast Resort with direct access to clean & serene beach. Location and amenites are awsome. Variety of dining options at Kapi restaurent

It was really a nice experience for all of us. The food was good, recieptionsist behaviour was also good.

Chariot resort was a beautiful property, with a good number of amenities, clean rooms and beach access. The food was also good, but what was bad was the poor quality of their swimming pool.
