Chateau Woods

This is a boutique resort in a wonderful location, nicely tucked away from most of the touristy resorts. It's managed a very professional and extremely courteous team of staff who seemed to genuinely care for our comfortable stay. I was surprised every staff at the resort constantly checked on us to see if we were comfortable and if they could help with anything. Their in-house chef deserves a very special mention. We relished every dish that was prepared and every minute personal requests were remembered and honoured. We stayed at their cliff cottages which were elegant and comfortable. Three sides were glass walls that gave a panoramic view of the stunning tea plantations, probably difficult to describe in words. The botique setup also allowed us to meet and interact with like minded groups that just made our trip so much more enjoyable. We also stayed in a 5 star resort in our later part of the trip but couldn't beat the experience we had at chateau woods. A must try resort in wayanad!

It’s a Beautiful boutique Chateau Woods. Everything feels right (read peaceful) in this place. The place and the surrounding are very serene — greenery and scenic beauty all around and bird chirping all the time. The room is very big. It’s clean. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is clean (however a few additional toiletries will be better). There is a very big balcony attached to the room and it adds to the overall setup. The Chateau Woods staff are extremely professional. Mr Jackson was helpful from the very beginning— he arranged for the quickest possible check in. Anas did everything to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast is avg. The approach road is a bit bumpy (a small stretch only) since it’s literally amidst tea estate. The place is so beautiful and nice that these small things become totally forgettable. We will definitely visit this place again as our stay was very peaceful and memorable.

Our stay at chateau woods was indeed a pleasant experience. The property is well isolated and in the midst of nature. The driving through the last patch of the road to the property feels almost like off-road though. You can enjoy the amazing view of the tea estate from you room/balcony while sipping tea. The property has a lot of space to walk around while appreciating the beauties of nature. They have limited options for food but the quality was good. The guys at the resort were really nice and helpful. Overall, it was a pleasant stay for us. Definitely would recommend the place if you want to get away from the city and spend some quality time with your loved ones in the midst of nature.

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved the quiet forest experience that it offers. Please be informed that as it's a forest bugs, reptiles are common. Every morning we spent hours birding, doing yoga and enjoying the misty mountains. We didn't have a vehicle so we walked to nearby attamala view point which was a lovely walk. Food is really good and both the chef's create magic with all dishes they prepare. We've tried north indian, chinese and kerala cuisine all were great. We stayed in cliff cottage and it's comfortable for a couple. Not suited to work though.

The food is great but comes with limited options. The breakfast is decent enough. The food is cooked in cooking oil and not coconut. The location is great and the view is amazing. The service is also good and the staff are courteous. The only thing though is that we had to stay at the Chateau Woods due to covid restrictions. And the swimming pool was not working again due to the same reason. The jacuzzi does not work, it's more like a mini bath tub. Overall a nice stay, i definitely recommend staying here!

I had travelled to Chateau Woods may 11-13. Pros: Great location to relax. Away from any kind of hustle bustle. 5 on 5 for location, in the midst of tea gardens. It was hot when I went but I am sure it would have been even better during winters or just after rains. Secondly, the service was good. Well behaved and helpful staff. Thirdly, tasty food. Cons : Roads are bad in last few km. Don't go for jungle safari with kids, even ladies very harsh ride and nothing there. Limited food option

We stayed at the property for 3 nights and the experience was amazing. The property is in the middle of tea plantation and is very well maintained. And i must say that the staff are very courteous and friendly. The luxury room are huge and you can enjoy a breathtaking view from the room. I suggest they improve the availability of food. You have limited options for food and snacks. So carry your snacks specially if you are travel-ling with children. Other than than everything is perfect.

The location of the property is mesmerizing, every bit of you is absorbed in nature. The Chateau Woods staff from the property manager, chef, housekeeping, restaurant guys are all very professional, helpful, and go beyond every step to make your stay indeed a memorable one. The rooms are very spacious and have an awesome view. Very hygienic and well-maintained property.

It was an excellent stay and a very friendly staff with highest standards of hygiene maintained combined with a very delicious food and we enjoyed a lot. Especially the views from the large balconies was awesome and its location is heavenly. A special mention to an-as and vijay for making our stay as pleasant as possible! love to visit again.

The cliff cottage where we stayed was excellent. Compared to staying in conventional Chateau Woods rooms, this is a unique experience. Service is very courteous. View is terrific - overlooks plantation on one side and hill on the other. No food room service in cottage is only negative.

This resort is present in the middle of a tea estate and is far away from civilization. The surroundings are so beautiful that you can not get over it. The place is super quiet and you can even hear people coming from far away. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Food is nice and staff is very helpful.

Our stay at chateau woods was simply amazing. The staff, especially an-as and shinjin were so accommodating. We travel-led with a 1. 5 year old toddler and the food and milk and all for her was provided by the Chateau Woods. The place is so serene. And the food there is quite yum too.

Road is narrow to reach the Chateau Woods but location is really beautiful. Food is limited in menu & ok. Staff is really courteous and extremely helpful
