CHETTIAR MANOR

Nice heritage mansion for an short stay. Felt like staying in ancestral house. Neat room. Homely food. Mr. Nagaraj was a good host. Bathrooms were average. One suggestion is to use floor towels instead of floor mat to improve overall hygiene as the mat was dirty. The very serious looking old security was arrogantly asking us to keep the chappals at the entrance and go inside the CHETTIAR MANOR barefooted which was a very bad experience. It turned out to be very horrible as the floor inside were not very clean. This guy lacked professionalism and was treating the guests like as if they are entering a place for free stay. Barring these two suggestions everything is fine

Location of property is good, can reach easily from high way, sign board is placed at turning on hway. Ambiance excellent, of a chettynad mansion. Rooms were specious, clean providing heritage charm. Wahroom clean hygienic. Food and breakfast was home cooked chettynad flavour. (don't expect topical large spread ) mr nagraj called us to know arrival time, guided about interesting attractions. Service excellent.

Very good stay near karaikudi for a reasonable price. Had breakfast from here and it was really nice. I believe only vegetarian foods are available here. Many tourist spots are easily accessible from here. If you are planning to visit chettinad palace, they will arrange the tickets from here

Very good hospitality and food was homely and host was really caring. They explained everything about the place and culture and helped my parents to create good memories

Property was very fantastic. Good heritage style. Manager nagaraj gave fantastic service and care. Food taste good. They charge dinner 400 rs per head. Served idiyappam & chapathi chicken. Very high. Far away from karaikudi city.

The stay is decent, location is ideal to reach to all destinations in karaikudi. The owner is very friendly and accommodating

It is very short stay one night only. Rooms are good but food was not available late evening. If it is arranged it will be convenient

Very good ambience and good accessibility. Very clean rooms and supportive staff. Authentic tamil break fast. The property is being renovated that kills ethnic touch of the ancient building.
