Chikkamane Homestay | Rooms & Pool

Home stay was very comfortable and nearer to many view points when compared to add one other stays. Room also well maintained.

It was really nice experience staying at chikkamane home stay. The main reason of 5 rating was for sharath, who served yummy food with a big smile on his face and he was very pleased to serve us varieties of menu such as lemon rice, paddu, veg rice, puri saggu, and chatni awesome. Really had a good time

Not clean bedsheets, fan not woking pillow worst

The overall experience was beautiful rooms could have been a little better. There was no restrictions for Alcohol consumption. And also we can jump into the pool even at midnight and no restrictions on that! Overall a very good experience!

We have booked 2 rooms. One was pretty decent but the other was very bad with a foul smell and water dripping down its walls. The bed was unclean. When asked, he said he will get us new bedsheets, admitting that he hasn't changed them before. There is no food service. However, they will get us the plates. Also, this homestay is pretty far from the hills. Better to book a homestay near the hills. Overall, our experice was below par and i believe it is because there was no supervisor for the caretakers.

The property looks good. We had informed that we will checkin early but they didn't pick up the call and finally when they picked up, they said that the room is not ready. Then after all the talks, they provided one room to freshen up. When we went out and came back, our bags were left abandoned and we asked for room keys. They provided one room but the washroom and linen were not cleaned. Overall, we didn't have a good experience in the homestay.

Swimming pool was bizarre i sta

Rooms and toilets are very spacious and clean. Staffs need to learn more about customer care and cleanliness. Staffs are not bothered about cleaning garbage and bottles in the campfire area. We were not able to use swimming pool as it was dirty. Next day they emptied the pool. Staffs just fire up the logs and never bothered to come back and check on anything. Dinner plates are not washed and cleaned up, till next day morning. Staffs are not available after 10:30 pm. They sleep by 10:30. Suggest to provide some training to staffs on customer care which will enable them to do a better job.

Good property. Nice location. 1st and 2nd-floor rooms have a good scenic view of lake and mountains food is homely(rasam and papad should not be missed) corridors have no dustbins and a lot of cigarette buds nice place to stay as family rather than couples

Nice place. Me and my friends loved the place. Remote area. Very nice place to relaxing. We are very much happy for this house.

Before taking my luggage, caretaker was asking whether i need home made wine. When i informed there is cockroach in the room, he said no. After requesting cockroach hit has been provided. There is a big pet dog roaming and came to us while we are having dinner. My 3 year got scared. I had to call caretaker and ask him to get rid off the dog. This has been repeated multiple times during our dinner. Dinner taste was good, but expensive. 2 plate non veg meals (chicken curry, rice and 1 chapati) and one chicken starter which cost me 650rs. Finally i decided to buy one home made wine after the caretaker insisted so much. The wine had alcohol content, which the caretaker said no alcohol. I had returned the wine, they refunded most of the amount. Breakfast was fine, which was complementary
