Chiramel Residency

Location is walking distance to a lot of the sights in north fort, like vasco da gama's tomb, portuguese museum, naval museum, beach walk. It's a quaint, well-maintained family home transformed into a homestay. Rooms were ac and cleaned. Mattress was provided for our children. We traveled in april, so coming back to the room was a welcome relief from the heat. Asha spoil t us with continental breakfast every morning (our choice. And on the last day, she even made a special early morning breakfast pack to take on the train with special chocolate treats for the kids! very thoughtful. Chai or coffee is readily available on request for a minimal charge. Abu was always helpful. We'll be back! chiramel has a part to play in making kochi one of our favorite places to visit.

Nestled in an over 100 yrs old mansion, chiramel residency belongs to the chiramel family and they lovingly have opened their doors to welcome guests at their place. Amenities are basic but sufficient enough for a comfortable stay. Neat & tidy. The breakfast is fulfilling with choices between local dishes or continental. The caretakers are always there to help you with any thing you may need. It is very well located and walking distance to everything that fort kochi holds.

Superb place. Location is perfect. Less than 5 min walk to fort kochi coastline. Lots of awesome food options around the property. Breakfast is simple but good. Staff is nice and soft-spoken. But the best part are the rooms and the common space. Too good. Wooden panel floors and ceiling. With matching furniture. Perfect for a nice and cozy stay for families.

Stay was good, host was generous, kind and accomodating. Was able to arrange for day activities such as backwater boat trip, kathakali show, etc. Breakfast was basic, but served on time and delicious. Location was perfect and close to all the highlights in the fort kochi area.

I absolutely loved the stay at chiramel residency. The property is very beautiful with its old world charm but has all the modern amenities. It’s located close to all the main attractions. Breakfast is bread, cornflakes and eggs. I would like to have had more options.

Had a pleasant stay at chiramel. Host asha is very sweet and helpful with any travel leads and local information on you may need. Safe place for solo travellers! at the heart of fort kochi and most took places and cafes are all at walkable distance from the property.

A beautiful house, well maintained and clean. Tasty breakfast. The location is good, max 15mins walk to most places of note within fort kochi. Walkable from ferry and metro as well.

It was a nice stay, the residency is 5 minutes walk away from all the major attractions. The landlady is a caring lady. She will help you with all queries.

It’s an old charm portuguese style place, mostly wooden and the owner is very nice and caring. Breakfast was lovely too.

We had the privilege of staying at chiramel residency which had the best food, great location and an inviting hospitality. The lady who runs the homestay was warm and had great air about her. Our stay was perfect and we would again choose it if given another chance!

It was wonderful staying at this place. The rooms were so clean and comfortable, I and my family had a great time over there.

The heritage stay made us to remember the richness of the state the fort kochi is the place where the ancient culture of the state could be experienced

location is excellent. All the tourist spots are walking distance from here .. Food is also good .. Overall this is a value for money property
