CHITHARA RESIDENCY

I was on a temple visit spree and this CHITHARA RESIDENCY was close to the udupi temple, udupi bus stands and around 2 kms from national highway. We can reach the CHITHARA RESIDENCY pretty quickly. I had booked and hence i did not have checkin delays. People at the reception were very cordial. They were prompt in getting me settled. They have a good vegetarian restaurant and food was great. Rooms were neat. Clean bathrooms, hot water was available and the bathroom fittings were from roca. I must say that there was no compromise in the cost when this CHITHARA RESIDENCY was built. Thanks chithara for making my stay pleasant.

Loved the facilities, stayed in a deluxe executive double room with family. Loved the CHITHARA RESIDENCY location, amenities, food and hospitality. They even helped us with an earlier check-in. The only problem was, there were many mosquitoes in the room. We travel with our own repellent machine, so that wasn't an issue for us. Please make sure you let the reception know, they will do something about it. In-spite of this, i'll book my future stays at this place since their service is very good. The restaurant also serves tasty food at reasonable prices.

Deluxe executive double room was excellent, in fact it was quite a big suite. Very clean bathroom, with very clean fittings. Complimentary breakfast was very tasty and quite many varieties. Restaurant staff and other staff all had a gloomylook. They just go about their duties without even a smile or any small talk. They are either understaffed or underpaid or both. If this part is improved, then it would be the best CHITHARA RESIDENCY in udupi. Another negative is that the ramp to basement parking is very steep and causes problems while coming out.

I had a beautiful stay here. We stayed in two of the rooms, day one in a suite room and day two in deluxe both the rooms were luxurious and clean. I was super happy with the staff, i give them 10/10 for hospitality. Our check in time was 12 pm but we reached there around 8, they were very kind to give us an early check in. Stay is very near to sri krishna temple, we can easily walk to and fro from here, it’s around 850 mts. Breakfast was really great, they had a wide spread of south indian delicacies, buns were my personal favourite.

Stay was good, rooms were clean and tidy. Located in heart of city accessible to various locations easily. Staff were good and will help through out the stay. Actually they increased my checkout time as i have a late flight to catch. The food was not so good. Specially lunch and dinner has to be improved. Restaurant was pure vegetarian and good but items taste was not upto the mark they need to improve a lot. Overall good and comfortable stay but need to improve the cooking skills and items availability.

Hotel is neat and clean, its a newly constructed property. Parking is bit of an issue as they have limited area in front of CHITHARA RESIDENCY. The food served was however a disappointment, it was reasonably priced but quite average. The price paid by is was much higher than usual due to peak season. Overall had a good stay, one can stay with their family comfortably provided the prices are around 3-4k and not 7-8k that we pqid due to high demand, which was definitely not worth.

Room facility: excellent room with good spacious interiors cleanliness: rooms were maintained clean, with proper bed covers, linens, ac, washroom spacious & clean staff friendliness: polite kind friendly staff with lot of courtesy food in restaurant: very tasty food with multiple varieties overall: excellent CHITHARA RESIDENCY at affordable rate, in great location very near to main shree krishna temple & also to main centre wrt busstand, beaches, etc - worth stay. Stayed with family for a night. Location is good. Lot of good restaurants nearby. Their in house vegetarian restaurant is also good. Breakfast provided was very good. It's not buffet but we can order anything from the list( all south indian breakfast dishes available. Front office person helped by giving tips for visiting temple. Check in and cheek out was smooth. Room condition is excellent.

The CHITHARA RESIDENCY is newly built with modern look and feel. It was an amazing experience. Although, the concierge service is not upto the mark, other services were quick and excellent.

Service is good staff is very polite and helpful. food was awsm. I would love to come again 😊

Location : very good food: both south indian and north indian food is very tasty. North indian food is even better than what we get in north india. Hygiene: very neat and clean property

Stayed for 1 night at this place engg my extended family. Awesome stay. Rooms are clean and spacious and close to udupi center. I didn’t get a chance to try out their restaurant though.

The staff and service quality is pretty good and the rooms very spacious and top in class Enjoyed the stay.

This place is located very near to bus stop and udupi temple, place is great very peaceful, hospitality is amazing. They have a veg restaurant below which serves amazing variety of veg food. Breakfast was amazing ❤️ overall it’s an amazing place to stay with your friends or family. Recommended for family!

Very good CHITHARA RESIDENCY and good staffs

The rooms are spacious and clean. The CHITHARA RESIDENCY is in close proximity to the local bus stand, auto stand and many restaurants around. Especially the krishna temple is in walkable distance from the CHITHARA RESIDENCY

We reached there tired after a long travel. A warm welcome raised our spirit up. The location is perfect. A good complementary veg breakfast added on was perfect. The room is big and spacious. Worth for the money. The restaurant delivered good ordered on time. Good food well enjoyed by my daughter.
