Chokling ArtHouse - The Treasure of Himalayas

I stayed with my family in luxury studio on 2nd floor. It has a huge balcony and facing to chokling monastery. The property has ample space for car parking. But there is no signboard of property neither on the building nor on the approach road, which makes it difficult to locate and even google map doesn't show exact location. So you have to ask locals about the street and location of the property. The rooms are clean, hygienic and spacious equipped with all necessary things. The property has a cafe too on 2nd floor but the menu is very very limited and a bit expensive. So i preferred to had my meals from other food joints. Most of tourist attractions as nearby. You can go to landing site and other cafes on foot. There is no lift and ramp so it could be difficult to move on upper floors for disabled guests. The Chokling ArtHouse - The Treasure of Himalayass should be disabled friendly. The check in and check out was smooth. Will love to stay in this property next time too.

The hostel is very good. 1. Centrally located & walking distance to the landing site, tibetan colony and bus stop. 2. Hygeine and room maintenance is good. 3. Staff behaviour is very good. 4. The room is exactly as room in the MMT app pictures. The only problem I had was with the cafe. It is maintained by a third party, so it is not well maintained. There was nothing for breakfast for both the days i stayed except for coffee, eggs and fried rice. And the rates were insanely high. I was charged 599 rupees for 2 cups of very bad black coffee and 1 plate of okayish egg bhurji. So i would rate the hostel overall 5 stars & the cafe 1 star

I had travel-led with my family. The location was excellent and close to the local bier market and paragliding landing point. Nice cafes in vicinity. The room had a perfect mountain view, nicely designed and comfortable. Further we booked paragliding through nayak paragliding from the Chokling ArtHouse - The Treasure of Himalayas itself, they gave us a good discount and organized to & fro travel, to billing for the paragliding. This was overall a lovely experience and we shall stay here again in our next visit

property was very near to Bus stand and it took only 5 minutes on foot to reach. Staff was very cooperative. Room was near and clean. the surroundings were very good with lot of greenery and peaceful. Did not have any food in the attached restaurant although the restaurant ambience was very good with lot of space.

Hotel location is really good, very near to the bier bus stop (walkable distance) and it is opposite to the monestry. In the evening you can see many paragliding’s. It has a cafe in top floor where food is also good. Overall very good place to stay in bier

It has been amazing stay at chokling arthouse. I was there for almost a week and it was peaceful in front of monastry. Staff is also super helpful and their silk route cafe serves amazing food. Recommended for all kinds of stays.

Stay was awesome, i liked the view and the vibe of this Chokling ArtHouse - The Treasure of Himalayas. Also, the landing site is nearby and all the cafes. People are also nice, so overall a very enriching experience

Nice place. Very well maintained, monastery is right in front, so we get a good view. In center of every where so a decent place to come.

Overall expeirnce is good but they can also provide food for luxury bed booking and little bit expensive

The rooms are well maintained and staff are very friendly, prices are super affordable and has the best view in bir. Also the location is optimal and everything is closeby

Decent beds and spacious dormitory with clean bathroom. The blanket could've been thicker to provide more warmth.

Chokling is peaceful, spacious and serene property to stay. The staff is very much cordial and soft spoken. Food cafe is a bit overpriced if considering a long stay, otherwise it is sure a bagpackers' go to place.

It was nice stay and good experience together. Staff is good and well behaved. Reasonable stay with all amenities.
