City Central Hostel, Kolkata

From howrah jn, catch a bus to college street (college square for the nearest stop. It might be less than 10 mins walk from college street stop, located above hdfc bank. The room, bedsheet & bathroom were clean. Ac was on 24x7, and the bathroom had geyser. Shoe rack was also available. Common area was also clean and had seating arrangement. It also had a water filter and dining table. The caretaker was polite and checking in process was quite smooth. In short, easy to find, clean, comfortable and cheap. 100 % recommended from my side. I had to leave early so couldn't try the complementary breakfast. Although, i had enquired and was told that there would be bread, butter and banana for breakfast. Ps. Metro is not too far, and that's another plus point.

I was visiting for a second time, and this time too, it was my preferred stay. This is good place to explore north kolkata, and especially the old sweet shops like putiram, b him nag, balaram mullick etc. It's close to two metro stations, and if one wants to explore further north or down south, they are both very helpful. Based on my experience here, i think this is going to be my stay from the next time onward s whenever i'm visiting kolkata.

It's a superb experience staying at this property. The staff are very well behaved. Mr manna mr aman / mr kamal / and others ( undisclosed names. It's very well cleaned and very hygienic. Good location, good management, good people. Clean, safe & comfortable, they have all necessary amenities, free breakfast, lockers, clean toilets. & most importantly i met amazing some people here, i will recommend cc hostel to every backpacker. Hope i will return to his place soon, will miss people i met here. Safe & amazing experience.

I was very surprised to see such good property at this price and honestly I didn’t have high expectations before reaching to the hostel but to my surprise it is an excellent property to stay. Clean rooms and washrooms, friendly staff, breakfast included, lockers, cctv, WiFi washing facilities, kitchen, what else you need

The location is the best. 10/8 bed rooms have only one toilets, one extra common to both would be helpful during rush hours. Cleaning, laundry is good. Open terrace is also awesome. Could improve options available for the morning breakfast

Rooms are clean, well maintained property near metro stations, staff behavior is very nice, all the facilities are present here which is required washing machine, fridge,oven,toaster,iron etc

Good location, best for solo traveling, decent breakfast, you have to wait for washroom as it is hostel.

It is ok. But it needs to have a polit cooprativ staf they are not as so good. Find location by cab drivers help. Ideed not have food there.
