Clafouti Beach Resort

During my visit to varkala, i stayed at clafouti, a resort situated on the north cliff, adjacent to the sea. The resort offers stunning views of the ocean, which is one of its standout features. While the rooms are modest and suitable for a short stay, they meet the basic requirements for comfort. Clafouti does not have a swimming pool, unlike some of the nearby resorts, but this was not a significant drawback for me. The location of the resort, at the end of a narrow street, can make it a bit challenging to find. However, once you arrive, you will find ample greenery and sufficient parking space. The resort also has a restaurant located beside it, which serves excellent food, with room service available for added convenience. Overall, clafouti provides a pleasant experience with its beautiful views and good food, despite a few minor inconveniences.

The stay was overall pleasant. If opted for sea view rooms, it will be the best experience. The clafouti restaurant provides in-room dining for the property guests and rates are quite affordable with great quality and taste compared to other restaurants at the cliff. The room which i stayed in was very spacious, neat and clean with a sea view. The room service is good with all basic amenities provided. Overall, its a good place to stay during your stay at varkala.

Check in was smooth. The reception staff explained about the locality and places to visit. The deluxe ac villa rooms are a bit old fashioned, but clean and well maintained. The bathroom is renovated and clean. The sea view is possible from the balcony (sit out. Their sea facing restaurant is nice and has comparatively reasonable rates. The approach road to the resort is narrow. But once reached, they have proper parking space for cars.

The property is very close to the black sand beach. It has an amazing view of the coast line. The rooms are pretty decent. Wish there were more chairs though. There was just one chair. The food is good. The staff are very friendly. Especially the front desk. They helped us book transport for the local sight seeing. Overall it was a good experience.

It was very nice stay at clafouti beach resort, best thing is that you get very good view from rooms and the restaurant. Food delivery is super-fast and staff is very helpful. Overall i recommend this Clafouti Beach Resort as budget Clafouti Beach Resort with facilities available. Also they have in house traditional massage center.

Great place, excellent beach view, fantastic food. Great staff - highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a perfect place to enjoy.

Stay was just ok. Most of the items like almaraih, fridge were not clean. Bathroom was good plus they have upgraded our stay from deluxe villa to beach facing. View was amazing. Most of the power plugs weren't working. Need to improve the maintenance

Great place, great food, awesome location. The rooms are pretty clean and well organised. The restaurant is right at the cliff and most of the happening places are just 1 minute walk away.

accommodation I stayed in one of the sea-facing cottages, which provided stunning views of the Arabian Sea.

All the things are good, location, food, services. Resort located in prime location, went to cliff 5-6 times a day

Hotel location is at top cliff n see view is amazing , try to get a sea view room. Food is amazing both dinner n breakfast, we tried North Indian..staff are too good as well as behaviour, overall a nice stay with affordable price.

The resort facilities were clean and pleasant, and check-in went fast during my visit, and the room and restroom were both fantastic and budget friendly as well. Clafouti restaurant's food was good and tasty, and it is open until 12 p.m. The sea view seating arrangement has an amazing view with table candles for couples.

We took the basic room, it was ok as compared to other Clafouti Beach Resorts which are cheap but this looks good, restaurant is beach view so it was nice
