Colonel Retreat at the airport

Booked the room for two days during a personal visit with family. Situated Around 10 km from IGI Airport and 2 km from dwarka sector 21 metro Station. Residential area with a small market nearby. Safe and peaceful. Responsible staff. Neat rooms. Arranged airport pick up and drop in at reasonable extra rates. Can reach metro Station by rickshaw. Connected to Airport metro Station and new Delhi metro Station by airport express Orange line.

Good stay. Value for money. Safe and peaceful. Clean and tidy. Good staff.

I wrote a short review about the receptionist. Let me continue my review further. I found a rat in the hotel room, when I complained to the staff, they didn't believe me and looked at me as if I'm lying. After persuasion, they laid a trap. There is only two items on the menu, aloo paratha and bread omlette, I have seen cheaper hotels serve more variety. There was no hot water in the bathroom, when I complained, the staff acted very rude and left the place, later he came back fixed the problem with a grim face. The staff work as if they are not paid salary. Biggest lie is the name of the hotel, it reads, COLONEL'S RETREAT AT THE AIRPORT, its atleast 30 mins to 45 mins from the airport. Trust me, I had the worst experience in this hotel, please don't visit this place with your family nor alone.

Stay At very calm atmosphere. Very pleasant stay.

We spent 2 nights here and were very pleased. We did site seeing during the day, so only needed a place to sleep at the end of the day, and this place was perfect. Bathroom was very nice, nice shower. Not luxury, but very adequate, especially of you are on a budget. Safe neighborhood.

Nice n warm stay, very quiet and serene. But no to. V. Signal, no wifi. Rooms comfortable, ac cooling very good, staff very cordial and polite.

Though this place is nice to stay, it is more of a guest house than a hotel. The rooms are good and clean. Not very close to The Airport though.

Nice place but it's not very near to airport. 30 min from airport in early morning. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. We stayed only for few hours due to early flight and very late check-in. Nice place to stay I can say.

I had to change my room in The middle of The night to a lower category room thou I booked a higher category because I had flying cockroaches and a big black lizard running under my bed. And all over to chase cockroaches, also bathroom had algae and smell bad. No Swiggy can reach that location and kitchen is of no use, if u still choose this one good luck

The staff were friendly and helpful and The room was clean. Bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was nice.

Tv was not working, they didn't listen At once non cooperative

Good location, value for money

Location is in a very quiet part of town, quite near to the airport. It's more of a guesthouse in a residential colony. Rooms are clean, spacious. Comfortable bed. However, in the middle of the night, the AC suddenly started making weird noises and leaked water all over the floor. Had to shift rooms, and my sleep went for a toss. Can't really say whether it points to poor maintenance or just bad luck. Front desk and staff are good. Check in was quick and painless. Special note of appreciation for Sachin, who whipped up some omelette toast in spite of my reaching after breakfast hours. But not so much for the night staff who at first suggested I sleep with the fan on since the AC has conked off. Then when it came to changing rooms, he simply handed over the keys and told me go to 301. With no numbers on the room doors, I would've appreciate if he had shown me. But overall, I liked the hotel and would like to stay here again.

Was good to stay and ok for one night being close to your Airport

I had a wonderful stay At colonel's Retreat At The Airport. Cozy rooms, excellent bathroom, attentive service and good breakfast. The home-stay is located in a secure and peaceful neighbourhood and Dwarka sector 21 metro Station is only 10 minutes away by rickshaw. Highly recommended!
