Colonia Santa Maria

When I first entered the room,It was quite big but not very clean.The bed was a sufficient size but had some minute dust particles on it which did not feel great.The bathroom was okay , except for the fact that my mother somehow made it very stinky .It was so stinky. In front of the room was a very convenient tub of water that You could use to wash the sand of your feet if you are heading back from the beach.I liked that it was a beachside resort and you just have to walk a bit from ur room to go to the pleasant,calm,and soothing beach.The check in was alright but took time. The resort was spread out with cottages on both side of a road leading to the beach. The cottages are double height and painted all white giving it a feel of colonial era houses. The restaurant is just next to the reception which is bit raised from the ground level, next to which is a small pool, The best part of the property is the direct access to the beach. They have a restaurant at the beachside as well and I am surprised that they haven’t been using it. There is a playground and volleyball court which locals use in the nighttime. One more point I would like to mention, they have displayed a penalty charges for late checkouts. and they feel convinced about it.though I have no issues to be having such a policy but then I think it’s better be in fine prints than to display it right on the face of guests. Verdict-best for beach lovers however

The Colonia Santa Maria is located on the beach with greenery and a good all-rounder atmosphere. Breakfast is well-balanced with south & north indian dishes & light continental food items. The Colonia Santa Maria is well mentioned and with very efficient staff.

We has great stay at this property. Rooms are spacious with very prompt service. Breakfast options are very good. Restaurant food and liquor is not only good but reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Nice location and the stay was quite comfortable. Services were excellent. All staff were quite supportive and well behaved. The resort is just in the beach side.
