Coorg Amodhini Wooden Cottages

Food was extremely tasteful & the elderly couples who run the place are very friendly & caring. Expected some toiletries to be kept in the bathroom which was missing, otherwise the whole stay was amazing for the soul.

Coorg Amodhini Wooden Cottages had dark brown bed linen which looked and felt unclean, which was stained white and also caused itchiness from bug bites. The cottage interiors were shabby. Despite being more expensive and less comfortable than the precious two places we stayed, the owner/son uncharitably texted that the breakfast was complimentary and had to be reminded that it was included in the higher fee we paid. The only redeeming factor was the kind and energetic manager who was a retired army man who ensured the food was tasty and steaming, apparently cooked by his spouse, and served under his personal supervision. Not a place I would revisit on grounds of hygiene or convenience.

The stay was really nice. The food was super tasty, just like homemade. The place is a bit inside, but the room was clean and comfortable. The owners were also very friendly and helpful.

Place was good. May Need renovation as the cottages need some work. But it was a really good stay at the cottage.

Overall stay was excellent

The location is perfect for those looking for complete serenity. No distractions, about the food, it is just like home cooked with a limited menu. Overall an excellent place for recuperating.

Rooms are good but no toilet flusher not working. Food not good complimentary bf too worst

Geysers were not working. Tv not working. Electric kettle complimentary tea/coffee not provided. Only one lady helper to carry the bags. The property is very far from city limits.

Location, stay was good, ideal for couples and small family group but has problems with it. Frequent and long power outages especially at night, no power backup and they have not provide any lanterns also. Hot water issue, it takes 30 mins to fill one bucket. Restaurant was under renovation but food was good with homely touch.

The place is pretty. But bathrooms were not clean enough. There are a lot of mosquitoes, power cut issues and few food items were not satisfactory. It’s a passable stay i would say.

It was a great experience as a stay in amodhini cottage, the place is very beautiful and clean and between the woods th experience was fabulous. Especially the hosts were so loving and they treated us so well. It felt like we were at home only. The food made by them was delicious. It was all worth the trip.
