Coorg Cliffs Resorts

Coorg cliffs resort is nestled on the edge of the cliffs and that’s where the resort derives its name from. Located at a height of 3398 ft above mean sea level, the place has amazing scenic views to savour. We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days and frankly enjoyed each day to the fullest. Starting from the first day to the day of check-out the hospitality of the entire resort team was flawless. Everyone greeted us with warm smiles (which of course was hidden behind masks) which makes you feel welcomed. The entire staff made sure that every experience, from the stay, to the food, to the activities, everything was smooth as butter. Staying for a while there we made some good friends too. A special shoutout to mr. Avinash for the informative estate tour and organising bon-fire nights with some good music, and also for giving us some excellent guidance about where and what to do in the area. He has excellent knowledge about the local area which can help you plan trip systematically. He was super approachable and available for any help we needed. Also special mention to sister madam, she is also an excellent tour guide, she gave us some quick tips on some of the local food recipes and also told us what we could carry back home from coorg. The restaurant team is excellent and will go to any lengths to make sure you enjoy every meal to the fullest. The food at the resort is delicious and the chefs make sure that you will be satisfied and happy with your meals. The property is very clean and well maintained. All in all it was a wonderful experience staying at coorg cliffs resort and would recommend it without a doubt to anyone planning to visit coorg any time of the year. This place is well inside the main road up a cliff. Parking is available and mostly is not tough. Staff is extremely welcoming and establishes a good connection with the guests. This is something which i liked a lot. This is a single most distinct feature of this resort which separates it from others in the same area. Room is very good. Very spacious. Most of the rooms are not wheelchair accessible. Very well maintained rooms. View from the balcony is truly breathtaking. Amenities: wifi: it is available is every single room. The router to your room is in your room. Gym: it's available, requires some amount of maintenance though. Play room: carrom, chess, foosball are available to play. Cycles: yes, you can cycle around the property. Surprisingly well maintained cycles. Spa was missing when i visited however they mentioned that it will be available in a few months. Bonfire: every evening, you have a bonfire lit up where you can sit and spend some cozy chilling evening. Restaurant: buffet was good. Ambience is great. Estate walk: there is an in-house naturalist, mr. Avinash who would take you to estate walks in the morning and evening, explaining you most details about the flora and fauna at coorg. Infinity pool: there are 2 swimming pools in the facility, one of them was a wonderful infinity type pool. Over-all, a very relaxing experience and would visit here often. A good place to unwind.

I had an enchanting stay at a luxury resort nestled in the heart of Coorg, India. The sprawling property offered a perfect blend of opulence and nature, providing a serene escape from the hustle and bustle. The lush surroundings created a tranquil ambiance, complemented by the inviting outdoor activities. From engaging in friendly matches of outdoor games to rejuvenating workouts in the well-equipped gym, the resort catered to both relaxation and recreation. The highlight was the pristine swimming pool, offering a refreshing respite under the warm Coorg sun. The crystal-clear waters, surrounded by verdant landscapes, provided a picturesque setting for unwinding. As the evening descended, the resort came alive with a mesmerizing bonfire experience. Gathered around the crackling flames, guests shared stories, creating a sense of camaraderie that enhanced the overall experience. The attentive staff ensured every need was met, and the culinary offerings were a delightful journey through local and international flavors. The spacious and elegantly designed rooms provided a comfortable sanctuary, completing the lavish experience. In essence, my two nights at this Coorg gem were nothing short of magical – a symphony of luxury, nature, and warm hospitality. I left with a rejuvenated spirit, cherishing the memories of a truly wonderful stay.

Coorg cliffs resort is perhaps one of the best resorts i've been to. It's located on the top of a hill in a coffee estate and you get fantastic view of the western ghats from your room balcony and the swimming pool area. They have ample parking space where you can safely park your vehicle. The room itself is quite spacious and clean and has all the basic amenities. The bathroom also is extremely spacious and has all they provide all the toiletries, amenities, towels etc. During your stay. They have a nature walk scheduled in the evening in which they take you around the coffee estate and show you some unique plants/trees etc. Along with some basic info about them, quite informative. They also have a campfire along with music scheduled in the evening where you can relax and enjoy some quality time with your family. The restaurant also is top-notch and serves extremely tasty food. Just found their dinner menu/buffet rates to be on the expensive side. Perhaps this is something which the management can have a look at. Overall coorg cliffs is a fantastic resort and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

I just marked one of my best memories at this resort. This property is outstanding not only in terms of the location but the staff at this property treat you like a family. I have visited many resorts around the globe but this is my first ever time to witness such a humble behaviour of each and every staff at this property. To name a few, ashwini, savita, ravi rai, atul joshi were like a family to us. Their behaviour and nature will never be forgotten for sure. The other staff will also be a part of our memories. The front desk guys, the restaurant guys, the house keeping guys were always there to greet and help in any manner you ask for. I am glad that my little one enjoyed every bit of moments at this resort and i am sure to come back soon to this place. My special shout out to the owner of this property who has kept his staff so pampered and with utmost care. I am sure it is with his hard work that these staff are well trained and spoken. Great man you are to keep your people so loved around you. God gives you many more strengths to keep this beautiful thing going forever.

It was a wonderful stay at the resort. The resort is quite far from Madikeri but it is located on top of the cliff at a very picturesque location. Though most of the resort activities are closed due to covid restrictions, its still a beautiful place to relax & spend time with loved ones. The service was really good & resort is maintained really well with lot of coffee & spices plantations surrounding it. The view from rooms is breathtaking. I would have loved if there were few more options available as far as food is concerned as they are no other options around & the resort should provide more options in their menu. The plantation walk around the resort is awesome. You get see lots of coffee & spices plants around with lots of information. You will love it if you are a nature lover & enjoy learning about plants and how they grow. There is no spa available in the resort which is something worth adding. Also lot of outdoor activities are closed which are open in other resorts which i am not sure of the reason. Overall its a worthy place to visit & spend time.

Resort location- excellent view of valley from premium valley view room balcony. Location of infinity swimming pool is great with direct view of valley. Resort is far from medikari and major sight seeing spots. Room: spacious and cleaned room with big balcony. Quality of room is not per 4 star category (few spot of moisture seen on wall) and it’s minor thing. Food: it’s good and varieties are enough to cater various taste. There is nothing outside of resort and one need to have food in the resort only. Breakfast is also good with varieties. More variety of fruits and oatmeal can be added( only cornflakes was available. Staff and hospitality: very courteous and supportive staff. Always ready to help without questions and smiling face. Quick room service for any help. Don’t remember all the name ( ravi, joy from kitchen staff and nature walk with avinash, but all are very supportive.

Took the bangalore - nelamangala - kunigal - periyapatna - virajpet route. Road conditions are excellent for most of the duration and good/average for the rest. Up in the mountains it can be a bit rough at places, but nothing more than that. This resort is right in the middle of a dense forest and plantation. If you want to stay away from the crowd and relax with no noise around you, this is the perfect place. They have buffet 3 times and food quality is very good. Staff behavior, hospitality and facilities are first class. The only con is that if your itinerary has plans to visit tourist attractions, that is a good 1 hour drive from the resort. The rains, especially when it pours, is quite a sight and experience from this place. The sight is mist settling and lifting in the evening and morning is something you don't want to miss.

Stayed with wife and kid for a day here. We had a private balcony and the view was amazing. Infinity pool view was the highlight of the stay. The food was good and the staff courteous. Plantation walk was informative and educational. Would love to visit again.

Had been for 3 days and the staff made me feel so comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the property is very neat and is well maintained. Sports facility is nice and the food was delicious. Would recommend the property whole heartedly

We had some really great time at cliff resort. Coorg is one of the place everyone should visit at least once and cliff resort is one of the best stay.

Lovely hospitality by all the staffs, and food was amazing, very good and taste was also very good. Especially from the staff ravi rai, ashwin & theresa savitha were very helpful and were talking to all to make them feel comfortable. The swimming pool is the best point of the whole property, a relaxing mountain/nature view and the water in the swimming pool is very good. Plantation walk by naini was amazing, he explained many interesting points. . Was so good to learn about all the trees in the western ghats. Overall the stay was nice and pleasant, myself, my wife and my son enjoyed the hospitality at coorg cliff resort

Pros: 1. Excellent view 2. Specious rooms 3. Reasonable pricing of menu 3. Clean and hygienic 4. Play areas and beautiful ambience and facilities like cycling, adventure etc 5. Very friendly and helpful staff. Cons : 1. There is no wifi in other than main building which is not great for Coorg Cliffs Resorts of this grade. 2. Room service is closed for covid protocols which makes no sense as in the end people get saturated together in dining area. Only for these 2 reasons i am giving 1 star less.

4. coorg clifs resort is very nature stay . its located clif of mountian with lush green forest with coffee plantions and variety of spices plants.

Ideal for families for a getaway. Location is picture perfect on top of a cliff. Rooms have brilliant views, food is yummy, decent n courteous staff, lot of play area n activities for kids, campfire, spacious dining area following covid 19 protocols. Loved the stay thanks

Had excellent stay at coorg cliff resorts. Entire family enjoyed the vacation. Perfect place to enjoy coorg's weather. Spacious and neat rooms, excellent service from all staff including housekeeping, restaurant and reception. Pool area is excellent to enjoy the great scenic beauty, however pool is closed due to covid. Lot of other activities available to thoroughly enjoy the stay like kid's play area, evening bonfire and cycling. Special thanks to mr. Jerry from reception, mr. Avinash for the nature walk, sister, restaurant manager and the entire staff for making our stay a memorable one. Will definitely stay here during our next visit to coorg.

The Coorg Cliffs Resorts will not provide most of the amenities mentioned in the mmt listing. They even tried to blame corona for not providing iron box and table in the room although they have listed it in mmt, which was a headache since laundry service is also not available.
