Coorg Gavadana Resort

Its in a good location in madikeri (close to main city) and with your own car you can cover all coorg sightseeing places in a 2n3d trip. If you want to do things more lie-surely you may want to add another day. We had booked 2 teak cottages (for my 4 member family) for aug end 2023 2n3d trip - very spacious room and bathroom. Nice balcony with forest-cum-meadow view. Mosquito net provided with the bed was interesting. Linen (sofa, towels, etc) can be improved though. Pretty expensive affair the teak cottages - there are other cottage types if one wants to save on the spend! food was ok (not spicy, mild taste) and can improve the available variety (menu is misleading in terms of what they could actually do! complimentary breakfast was good. Reception staff were polite and helpful. From f&b side, will call out manjunath and his wife who went of their way to take care of our f&b needs. Overall a new property, not a large resort and facilities like swimming pool, spa, etc. Are still work in progress. They did arrange a bonfire 1 evening upon request. We covered ab-bi falls, omkareswara temple, raja seat, bhagamandalam temple, tala cauvery, mallali falls, chiklihole reservoir, harangi lake, dub-are elephant camp, nisargadhama forest/park and nadroling monastery (golden temple at kushalnagar. 1 lunch we had at zaffran restaurant of le coorg Coorg Gavadana Resort in madikeri and anither lunch we did at taste of tibet near the golden temple. Weather in end august was sunny and hot, with few cloud covers in the evenings. Light clothes did the job. Route from bangalore on the new mysore expressway was a breeze and scenic. Also from mysore to madikeri on nh 275 and the shs and all sightseeing places roads were pretty good and scenic.

We stayed in the resort from 1st jun e 2023 to 4th jun e 2023. During our initial booking, we had a doubt about the facilities and hospitality. Once we stepped in to the resort, they made our beliefs totally negative. Starting from the day we checked in, till we checked out, it was an amazing experience. They treated us like thier family, may be the receptionist, or the serving staff, or any other staff were very cooperative and humble and were excellent when it came into hospitality. We never felt like, we were out of our home and thanks for making us to feel coorg gavadana like our second home. Hats off and a special thanks to the entire team again.

This is the best Coorg Gavadana Resort ever for us in coorg. The rooms were very nice and service for also awesome. The staff was very helpful. The view of the Coorg Gavadana Resort and outside view were also excellent. I will love to stay again and again while visiting coorg. All the tourist destinations are near from the Coorg Gavadana Resort. The food served here were also very delicious. Network issue was there in the property but it was resolved through wifi. And if you are coming for the vacations and to get some relax from work, this is the best place to stay. 1 extra star for the staff and hospitality.

My wife and i stayed in one of their "teak" rooms (720 sq feet. It had a nice layout with a balcony facing the "forest. Personnel such as sadana, chaitra and bind u were nice and courteous. But their "wifi" was choppy and had to (re)connect multiple times. The room had a tv but only wifi you can connect with and one must use their private netflix/amazon accounts. The food menu was decent but some dishes were mediocre. We would recommend this place if you would like to "hide" away from bangalore for a couple days. It is pretty decent value for money.

We had the best experience in this resort. The staff were really helpful and the food was top notch and suitable for all people. Situated in very quiet place where you can enjoy a more natural feeling. Restuarant people were very helpful. Only one thing we faced was camp fire was missing. Swimming pool was situated in nice location

My stay here with family was very nice, hospitality and welcome was great. A very courteous staff and we would definitely come back. Chaitra, deena, bindu and sadan made out stay pleasant. It would be appreciated if a few amenities can be upgraded.

The property was nice, also the room and surrounding are neat and clean. Also the food tastes also good. But some of the works are pending like indoor games and etc. Staffs service and behaviour was good. Overall the stay was nice.

It's a nice resort out of the main city. So you can feel the fresh air with no pollution and traffic noise. You can also have free avacado here as there's a 🌲 of that. 🤭 The food is nice inside the resort. overall good experience

It is a blissful resort, calmness and nature, silence and full of lush green valley view. If u stay for a couple of days it's like getting rejuvenation for next 6 months.
