This resort is located amid-st forest with backwater of harangi river. My family of 3 persons stayed on 1st week of nova 2023 for 4 days. The weather gets cooler in the evening around 4:30 pm onwards. It is pleasure staying inside the resort to take its fullest advantage. Starting with good spread of buffet for vegetarians in a separate room restaurant. Breakfast is tasty, with lot of options in buffet spread, kids and even senior citizens will will enjoy too. Your own vehicle or rental vehicle is a must as it is quite far (45 mins drive) from madikeri city amid-st jungle area. Advance booking of two months in advance is mandatory as this resort is usually full. Yet being in jungle this resort maintains utmost cleanliness. Fun in the resort starts daily around 5pm with complimentary hi-tea & some hot served veg snack in their outdoor restaurant facing harangi river. Other hot snacks are paid. The outdoor restaurant view is mesmerizing, you will tempted to sit for atleast couple of hours everyday. Swimming pool is crystal clear & safe with kids pool as well. Every nooks & corner including near the pool area are built for you to take photographs & selfies. A wow effect for the huge expanse of this resort with lot of beautiful flowers. You will wake up everyday with birds chirping & butterflies making rounds near the flowers. My booked room was jungle room which was neatly clean, bed was cozy, bathroom is big enough with good bathroom accessories. You can have nature walk to harangi river & touch river water. Just two mins walk from resort. Resort authorities takes your utmost care. Kids indoor games, play area are all well working conditions. At evening around 7pm you will be lucky to see live music sung by superb singer in melodious voice every day. Wow what a singing. Complimentary dinner was included in our room tariff. Hot served dinner again is a huge plus point with lot of varieties for vegetarians. It will be served in restaurant room which is neat & clean. Non-veg fare is also enough for non vegetarians. I saw several gujarati family & maharashtrian families flocking here frequently. Resort authorities will take you for a complimentary jeep ride to their coffee plantation nearby. The time slot for guest is usually between 5 to 6. 30 pm, one day advance intimation is required at reception. If requested they do sell natural coffee & other spices from their own plantation in resort premises for all the guests staying here. I bought it too. All in all it was a memorable stay. I will visit this resort once again if time permits.

First of all kudos to the Coorg Jungle Camp Resort team for maintaining the resort premises in superb condition. I personally saw the resort premises being swept by the cleaning ladies such that you don’t see even one leaf on the ground. Mr. Madhan takes care of maintenance and he has done a wonderful job👏🏻. The food provided for breakfast and dinner is tasty and of good quality. Infact i will go one step further and say you don’t get such good food anywhere in Coorg (I mean the restaurants). Mr. Raghav, the chef takes great care in ensuring this. Thanks a lot for the wonderful food sir 🙏🏻. We stayed for four nights and the package included both breakfast and dinner. We stayed in a deluxe AC room which is spacious for three ppl. Washroom is neat, with good house keeping staff it was maintained neat throughout our stay. The resort location is amidst serene backwaters offering a wonderful view of the Hirangi Dam at a distance. A morning or evening walk along the lake bed is peace. Resort also has other recreational activities like coffee plantation visit (which we thoroughly enjoyed😀), indoor games, live music ( eve hours), camp fire and Dance floor ( eve only). Swimming pool requires special mention as it was maintained top notch with limited chlorine. I have not seen such maintenance in even five star Coorg Jungle Camp Backwater Resorts where they dump lot of chlorine in the name of safety. Our kid thoroughly enjoyed the swim. Kids play area is also available with some slides, see saw etc A paid Spa and cycling facility is available for guest use The front office staff were courteous and with a smile throughout. Mr. Satish ensured our stay is comfortable Coorg climate tends to be hotter in the day and cool in the night. Attire packing have to consider this as you may need light cotton for day and jerkin in the night. Overall we had a very memorable and enjoyable stay at Coorg Jungle Camp Resort. Thanks to the resort team for the same.

The resort's location is simply breathtaking, surrounded by mist-covered hills and the soothing melodies of chirping birds. The accommodation was tastefully designed, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings, and offered stunning views of the verdant landscape. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the back water view. The resort amenities were equally impressive, with a well-maintained swimming pool, rejuvenating spa facilities, and various outdoor activities such as nature walks and cycling. Pros: stunning natural surroundings impeccable hospitality and personalized service comfortable and tastefully designed accommodation delicious corgi cuisine excellent resort amenities and activities cons: the room door was slightly placed near your bed. It was creating a problem while entering your room. I stayed in the deluxe balcony room. Another type of room would be good

We booked a nest room here on the top floor. Although the room is a bit small in size but it was clean and comfortable. The balcony was quite big and the view was just breath taking! It’s a good resort with limited features but with abundance of natural elements. Firstly, about stay, hygienic cottage with excellent view of infinity pool followed by backwaters. Food is really great, although options are limited but most important point of food taste is fully achieved with 5 stars. Great hospitality by the courteous staff. Complimentary coffee estate drive is exciting into the 4x4 jeep. With backwaters always view-able from restaurant, it’s a great stress reliever and to add on, lovely variety of trees across the resort with birds chirping throughout the day. One cons i would say is not much of activities apart from relaxing, rest it’s anon absolute value for money.

The location of the resort is amazing. It's coupled with the serenity of harangi backwater and the amazing weather of coorg. This was my second stay in the last 5 years at this resort and i had a better experience during my first stay. Though the experience with the front desk was not great (i felt this may be because we were allotted the smallest room despite knowing that the booking was for 2 adults and 2 children) the food was awesome especially the service of the restaurant staff made our stay more comfortable. Would love to visit the resort again in the future and hope we get bigger room and have better experience.

This place has beautiful view especially the backwaters near the restaurant and play area. We have everything inside this place including a proper set bar and live music. The staff there are ok not very friendly. They sometimes end up showing their frustration on us. In simple words, they are unpredictable. Food is mainly on north indian cuisines and it may or may not be fine for south indian foodies. Live music is mostly sung in hindi and i assume it depends on the crowd that comes over the weekend. Studio has great view but maintenance not up to the mark. Overall this is a one time visit place only.

The reservoir bank was tranquil and soul soothing. The monsoon season made it mesmerizing. The location was idealistic. Rooms were relatively small for the price. But the room and every area was kept very clean and tidy. 24 x 7 solar hot water was an empty promise. Alternative energy is a good cause but when you have to take bath in icy cold water - i will vote for an electric heater. This ruined the pleasure of a relaxed holiday. And toiletries weren't offered. These points need rectification. But we appreciated the service by the attendant staff.

We stayed there for a weekend. The rooms are spacious when compared to other Coorg Jungle Camp Backwater Resorts. Food was good and the restaurant is by the reservoir which is a big plus. The garden is good and compliments the pool. The artist who sang bollywood songs was great entertainment for everyone. I cannot find anything that was amiss.

Everything we found very nice and staff also very courteous. The main usp of this resort its back water view straight away from room. Live music with bonfire was lovely combination with nominal rates of liquor inside and outside bar. Full jungle experience and we all enjoyed a lot.

This is one of the best resort to stay if you plan to visit near madikeri. The rooms are excellent with very well maintained facility. The swimming pool is deep and very well kept. The view from the rooms are amazing and very peaceful. The best part of the resort is the food. They have variety of options and excellent quality food. Overall very satisfied with the stay. Amazing and unique location with backwaters. Personally, cottages are the best place to stay with a view of pool and backwaters. Cottages have a private area at the back with a swing and a bath tub extension to the washroom. The resort also has a private exit to the backwaters. Its not fancy like other high-end resorts, but the service is really good, with every staff member going out of the way to ensure guest comfort.

A nice getaway place. Suitable for both family and bachelors. Very nice view of the backwaters. Service was excellent, staff was very courteous. I would say that the only drawback is as they don’t provide lunch, we need to go for buffet only. Any ala carte order is to chosen from buffet menu only. Worth the money spent.
