Coorg Lagoon Backwater Stay | Rooms & Dorms

Location: It is a mesmerizing location. Right on the banks of Harangi backwaters, it offers a breathtaking view of calm and clean waters with a backdrop of forest topped hills and clouds rolling above. Make sure you go in the right season (July-September). There are some good spots to sit and enjoy the view. Service: People working here were very dedicated to serving us well. They were prompt and patiently entertained our requests. Facilities: This is where this place has a lot of scopes to improve. They provide hammocks but their positioning is weird. They provide cycles to roam on the banks but they are rusty and old. They have a good dining room but it attracts a lot of insects. Curtains don't fully cover the windows. Small things which are fixable. Food: We ordered simple food items and they provided it perfectly as per our specifications and right on time.

Stayed in the resort for 3 days from 25th may to 28th may 2016, the view of the backwaters from the resort is awesome, the facilities at the resort are average, the management is not professional, they do not serve food on time, the washroom does not have any provision for small towels and I had checked in with my son into the room and every day I had to ask them for the 3rd towel and a 3rd blanket, the food served is good, when the resort is full cars are parked right in front of your cottage and most of the tourist come with drivers who are standing near the car peeping into your privacy. Apart from the above every thing was fine it is a nice place to relax close to nature.

The property has one of the best views in coorg. Probably, only this location in coorg deserves the phrase 'scotland of india. Really really vast property with excellent services of the staff especially chandrakant and priyadarshan. The property also has inherent coffee plantation. You just take your car and go around the lake. Just worth it. Don't think twice and book it. The food is nice, nothing fancy, but good homely food. You'll not get some wide spread. Common, you can't have it all. But, the location is just just awesome.
Not many people in this super vast property. I stayed for 3 days, and i hardly saw 10 sets of people around. I like it that way.

My daughters and I stayed here for 2 nights and were thoroughly looked after. The welcome was warm and friendly and we were taken to our room without fuss. The standard room was small but clean and comfortable. A bar fridge would have been nice. Augustine and his staff were great and nothing was too difficult for them. Praveen and the restaurant staff were also attentive and prompt with their friendly service. The food was tasty with a good selection. Will certainly consider coming back here again. Its a fantastic back waters stay. Which gives an ample and nice view of the harangi back waters. Its bit far from madikeri and its inside the forest area of khushalnagar forest. Rooms are big and staffs are so polite and helpful. Nice ambience and the food is very good. Room has two big king beds which is more than enough to accommodate three people. Toilet is also goo but not better. Extra bath accessories except soap and shampoo are not available. Room has a sitout which gives a fantastic view of the bsck waters

Place was good - on rhe shore of Haranfi backwater. Food is good. Had travelled with wife and son. Approach road is bad [close to 5. Attitude of the manager - absolutely no response. Room did not even have an intercom. Every time we wanted something ,, we had to go to the reception. The place does not ask for id proof during check-in. No bills providwd for payment. The day we stayed, there was a group of drunkards, making it difficut for family to stay. There was no attempt by tge staff too control the same

Good things : the location was perfect, beautiful, and peaceful. Delux rooms were big size rooms and cosy. The property size is good and you can roam inside. The overall ambience was amazing and definitely worth staying. Issues : 1. The dinner menu was not changed for 3 days. And i am not sure they cook daily or they were serving the same food for 3 days. 2. I expected sea food for dinner but it was always chicken. 3. No hot water in the bathroom and no daily cleaning.

I stayed in this Coorg Lagoon Backwater Stay | Rooms & Dorms during April 2016. This was my second visit to this Coorg Lagoon Backwater Stay | Rooms & Dorms. Here are my thoughts: 1. Check-in was comfortable, meal vouchers were kept ready. 2. Rooms were large and easily accommodated 3 persons. 3. The dinner menu as more Kerala style variety is needed in the menu. 4. The bar had limited stock of Beer. 5. Overall service from staff was good.

Hotel was very good. Services were apt and properly maintained. Cleanliness was taken care with all minute details. Food was good and could have more variety. It should have more activities. Beverages in the early morning can be served before going for breakfast.

It was a peaceful pleasant stay.

You get a good scenic view of the landscape from the Coorg Lagoon Backwater Stay | Rooms & Dorms of Harangi backwater and the greenery. However the best time to visit is October and November. Has accommodation for all types of groups. And can go for different activities like cycling by lagoon or boating.

The location is awesome, the staff are friendly and helpful. The resort is neat and well maintained. Only downside is that there are only a few activities to take part in, however if you're a person who wants to spend quality time with family and friends amidst the serene views and relaxed ambience, this is "THE" place to go to

Totally it's good... Not too good... It's a nice place to stay. Horrible route around 5 km... But it is ok... Calm area... Service also good... Food was not much good.

The connecting road is a bit trippy .. But once you reach the Coorg Lagoon Backwater Stay | Rooms & Dorms ... You get know what good service feels like. They treated us like kings, got us the dinner and evening snacks and in the morning gave us tea/coffee. They even arranged for breakfast on the shack and dinner in the room balcony. Awesome service, Awesome location & Awesome ambience. Worth going and staying be with family or friends.

Specially very good for family and kids. Price I got through online booking was very attractive. I recommend this Coorg Lagoon Backwater Stay | Rooms & Dorms to everyone.
