My stay at the coorg marriott was an experience that exceeded my expectations in every aspect, from service to surroundings, making it a memorable getaway. 1. *personalized celebrations* durga's assistance in decorating our room and arranging a birthday cake for my wife was the first of many delightful surprises. The attention to detail and effort put into making the celebration special was truly appreciated, setting a warm and personalized tone for our stay. 2. *culinary excellence* the dining experience at coorg marriott was nothing short of exceptional. Under the guidance of chef tiwari and chef raja, the culinary team delivers an exciting blend of flavors through their fusion cuisine. The high tea, complemented by the stunning sunset views, offered a perfect blend of relaxation and gastronomic pleasure, marking the evenings with a touch of elegance. 3. *beyond-the-call service* alwin’s help with the car ac repair was an unexpected yet standout service, showcasing the staff's readiness to assist with any issue, regardless of its relation to their immediate duties. This proactive approach to guest comfort and convenience was genuinely impressive. 4. *engaging activities* the plantation walk led by lithin, our knowledgeable naturalist, was an enlightening journey through the lush coffee plantations. His expertise and passion for the environment added depth to our exploration, making it an informative and engaging experience. 5. *cultural immersion* keshudas, the storyteller, provided an enriching evening activity with his captivating tales about the kaveri river and coorg culture. This session was not only entertaining but also deepened our appreciation for the local heritage and the beautiful surroundings of coorg. 6. *outstanding service and staff* the service at coorg marriott, exemplified by meru our server, and the excellent performance of the reception, housekeeping, maintenance, and gardening teams, was consistently good. Location & First Impressions Marriott’s resort in the Kodava region of Coorg is stunning, offering breathtaking views that left me in awe. This was my first stay at a Marriott resorts, and the location and hospitality did not disappoint. Check-in Experience Anushka handled our check-in seamlessly, making us feel warmly welcomed from the start. She and the team organised a surprise cake and decoration in the room, adding a lovely touch in the room on the occasion of my birthday.🫶🏼🫰🏼 Dining & Service • Mercara Outpost: The bar boasts incredible views. Avinash provided excellent service, offering Port wine and crafting a custom mocktail that was superb. • Madikeri Kitchen: The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious food options. I celebrated a belated birthday here, and Soorya made the occasion memorable by arranging a special table and a surprise cake, ensuring I felt special and attended to. Customer Service While most of the staff were exceptional, there was a minor disappointment with Donista from Madikeri Kitchen. As we were about to sit for breakfast, she abruptly asked us to move to another table, claiming it was promised to someone else, despite there being no reservation sign. We complied without making a fuss, but this left a very negative impression, especially since the table remained unoccupied for the next hour. We specifically wanted that table for its views. A little feedback or training would help her upskill her hospitality services. On a positive note, Ajith from the breakfast buffet went above and beyond by accommodating our request to pack some snacks for our journey home, showcasing excellent customer service. Facilities & Amenities The property is excellent, with beautiful rooms and stunning views. The bathroom, in particular, was lavish, and the day bed provided a serene spot to relax and enjoy the jungle views, complete with the soothing sounds of birds and insects. Spa Experience Unfortunately, we couldn’t experience the spa as it was fully booked. It would be great if the resort could expand its spa facilities to accommodate more guests, especially those looking to relax during weekend getaways. Check out : Tina at checkout was super sweet, making the process smooth and breezy. Genuinely asked about any feedback for scope of improvement which was very nice ! Overall Rating 5/5 - Marriott Coorg is one of the finest resorts, rivaling even the Taj in Madikeri. I look forward to returning 🫶🏼

Stayed here with family for 3 days, this is an excellent resort closer to mysore and bangalore if you want an all inclusive immersive experience as it is at least 4-5 km away from main road. Very modern and good place with all possible amenities. The restaurant can get a bit crowded and at times feels i'll managed especially as the all inclusive package is generous but i think that package is the reason for a big draw to the resort. The gm himself taking charge of affairs at restaurant keeps all forces aligned but when he is not there the people seem to wander generally instead of working in tandem. Surya in restaurant staff is one very hard working guy and tries to keep things in order. Rakshith at the front desk was also very good. We found the housekeeping a bit odd, i had two rooms with same category and they offered fruits and treats in one room and not in other and when i asked the housekeeping about it then the answer was 'okay' but nothing was done to amend that. The plantation tour, high tea, housie were amazing activities for kids as was the whole experience of kids club. Overall a very good stay and would try to come here again

We stayed at coorg marriott for 2 nights during dasara. The property is very huge and the same is reflected in the room which we got; it was a very comfortable luxury twin cottage. Our stay was pleasant and we would like to appreciate chondamma(disha) from reception team, sous chef ranjith kumar, sajeev and all the staff handling the parking and the buggy's. There is room for improvement in terms of the way guests are greeted at all times (it requires lot of training, more options in mocktails and how to handle a full house during high tea (don't concentrate on only grumpy guests; also need more hands and sandwich machines too. Special mention to the variety of desserts in chocolate flavour; they were yummy!

We had a awesome experience at coorg marriott resort. The rooms where very clean, well decorated and huge rooms. Bathroom was like in heaven, most luxurious with at most cleanliness just like brand new. If it rains such a awesome environment, surrounded by forest. Food was soooo dam good, soo many varieties and quality of food was very good. Breakfast and dinner buffet is to die for. And nice hi tea was soo good. The pool is bit small but very clean with nice changing rooms, shower and locker facility. Kid area is very nice. My kid played for 2 hours with out getting bored. Very clean and fully furnished for kids needs. Its a nice get away to relax and enjoy with your family or friends.

It’s a very nice place to plan your staycation ! The resort is cozy and compact..with some scenic views of the valley. The rooms are nice and spacious…although they dont offer any great views inspite of their full length windows! There’s lots to offer for kids as well…with a dedicated play area (indoor and outdoor). The hospitality is really amazing and must say the highlight of the stay. Everyone is really dedicated to ensuring that the guests are comfortable and attended to. Special mention to the elaborate buffet spread which the chefs have come up with…easily the best ever to enjoy ! Would surely love to visit here again !

Booked the resort for a 3-day short holiday with family. Was considering the rated choices on mm t but this resort sprang up a couple of times on the listings and on further research came to know about this new addition to the marriott bouquet of Coorg Marriott Resort and Spas and resorts in india. Overall very satisfied with the resort. It was a good blend of comfort, ambient, cozy and flavourful. The kids enjoyed the dedicated kids plaza and the food really kept us wanting for more. All the above was brilliantly supported by the extremely caring staff members who kept us at ease.

Firstly thanks to the entire marriott team for making our stay great. Staffs from each and every department were very proactive and always going above and beyond to satisfy customer needs. Though coorg was comparatively hotter during early may, marriott’s location and landscape was dreamy and cooler in general. I would like to call out mr. Soorya narayana, the restaurant manager and the chef’s who are extremely friendly and attentive to customer needs. Overall its a great place to stay! thanks again to the entire team for making our stay comfortable.

Had a lovely stay at this property. The food & restaurants staff were really good. Breakfast was very good. The room are so clean, spacious, gives in privacy & good view.

The stay was awesome. We just fell in love with the serene forest surrounding the property. The property itself is well maintained and its a great stay for families. Lot of options to explore within the property starting from nature walk, recreational rooms, child play area and games quest. We were in awe when we reached the place and the room was more than what we expected. Spacious rooms with spacious bathrooms. You will love to come back to this property.

The stay at marriott coorg was an awesome experience. The staffs were very cordial and helpful. The food was not the best when compared to similar properties, but it was good. I liked the rooms, view from balcony which opens to the coffee plantation and all the amenities. And the buggy service they provide inside the property is fun and a convenient too. Overall, it was great experience, and i would like to visit again.
